The vault required both a key and a combination. It took a fair amount of work. When the safe opened, loose coinage poured out onto the floor, what looked to be thousands of silver pieces. You were likely considering House Kundarak coin counting fees when you noticed some documents in the back. Papers of ownership for the Boundless Bounty, registered to a Captain Eorlan Dreamshaper, along with an assessment of assets. According to these notes, there are 6371 silver pieces, 23 gold pieces and 6 platinum coins mixed through the pile here.

The safe itself has a somewhat extraordinary locking system. If you could find the original key, you think House Kundarak would pay 200 galifars to purchase the set for study. Without the key, you doubt they'd put in the time or effort to really piece together how it worked.

The silver coins depicted an elvish man with a coy look holding a rose on the front. On the back, a beautiful tall ship, like the ships of old before House Lyrandar cornered the shipping market with elemental galleons. Roza Helmworth estimated their value at a tenth of a galifar each, completely genuine. [Investigation 17]

Back aboard the Astral Kraken, a wounded Mr. Shredder approaches Kayto. "It was a bit... messy... down there. The aliens were setting a trap, but one was friendly and warned us! Me and a few of the others are pretty beat up. I've got to do another Skiff run to get the loot up here, but after that, I'm going to crash! I'm thinking most of the healthy folk will want to stay on the ground and explore, so if they are fine with being left alone for a bit, I was thinking we could use the ship to sweep the area for interesting landmarks and signs of civilization. Sound good?"

Mr. Shredder ferries people and loot to and from The Astral Kraken as needed, before retiring to his cabin for a long rest. When the rest is concluded, he reports back to Kayto, to see if campfires, or anything else of interest, was noticed.

Dullahan rested in a corner of the room while the others looked through the safe's loot, small tools popping out of hatches in his gauntlets as he did some quick repairs. Roza looks around, trying to find the right body but she honestly lost track of who was who in this, she was more focusing on killing the attacking aliens then seeing who was important or what bodies were left from the fight.
