He pauses for a second. Non-Hobgoblins sometimes had trouble understanding his perfectly normal and not at all unhealthy disdain for those beneath him. Best to change the subject before the conversation got awkward. "Of course, we can sell other things too! Plants! I've got lumberyards and scholars interested in various alien flora. We could probably collect plants with less of a fight than it would take to subdue an animal. Probably. I've heard of a few nasty species growing in Ebberon, so no telling what we might find on an alien world. How well does your kind deal with toxins? Better than the rest of us I would hope."

"It would be incredibly difficult to poison me yes. Not technically impossible I don't believe, but certainly would require some doing. Of course, you definitely wouldn't have to worry about me catching any new or strange diseases... something tells me that's a type of collection you'd prefer not to bring back." Shredder could almost hear the smile in his voice there.

"That is good to know!" Mr. Shredder admits, "I could probably find somebody interested in buying a cadaver filled with alien diseases, but the amount of paperwork I'll have to do if one of you dies is less than appealing to me."

Stella listens to the description of Vaelish recreational activities, opting to not work to continue that line of conversation. "I am, indeed, human. My name is Stella, and I am of the house Vadalis, although I am currently estranged."

The conversations had been ongoing through the voyage, and as they progressed, the star they were headed towards began to grow. Slowly, at first, it became the brightest star. Then, within minutes, it had grown to the size of the sun. It's blue light felt bright and clear, but somehow cooler that Eberron's, though the temperature was the same. Kayto d'Lyrandar turned the Wheel of Wind and Water, and the ship listed and turned, bringing the sun overhead as you flew on through the darkness. You felt the movement only a little, as though you had been on a ship that had taken a hard turn.

Ahead, a moss agate began to expand into a green world, with some kind of a ring around it.

There was a dark line through the ring, like a hairline fracture in a perfect diamond. Something must have passed through it, and recently. She should certainly ask Kayto to get a closer look.
