All of the stains had been removed from Sormias' clothes and her teeth had been cleaned as she prestidigitated clean.

Dullahan would come by, looking over the group. "Ah, so that's where you got off too... ah, you're busy. I would like to talk to you about something later if you don't mind Sormias." He'd give a little bow, then step away, not wanting to intrude on their conversation unless invited.

Mr. Shredder approaches the group that is gathered around Sormias. "What are we all gathering around here for?" He asks with a big grin. "Not gawking at the abberation, are we? Well get that all out of your system before Planetfall! Once we are on the ground she is a teammate and an asset, not a sideshow!"

The Hobgoblin leans idly against the ship's rail. "Seriously though. Are we all stoked to visit new worlds, exploit them for fun and profit, and bring glory to House Lyrandar? I know I am!"

Three galifars Brother Jonathan had spent on over ripe and near rotten berries to fill his casks just before they had left Sharn. He had spent the morning refining the berries into thirty gallons of “Juice”. That was all poured into a keg with some fresh wild yeast. In two days one could drink it, but it would taste terrible and upset your stomach, making it the equivalent of rot gut. While waiting for it to brew, he sat on the deck meditating and praying to the Silver flame.

Dullahan chuckled and went to lean against the rail with him. "Not gawking per say, I had wanted to ask her for something, but she seems a bit busy. I am rather excited to see what all we'll find. Especially if it brings us a decent amount of coin, but even without it'll make for an experience worth talking about back home."

The Hobgoblin nods. "We'd have to screw this whole thing up in Royal fucking fashion not to make good money here! I've already lined up potential buyers for pretty much anything we might find. We have a damn lightning-ballista to protect the boat, and one of the best damn Warforged badasses on the Lyrandar payroll to protect the away party! The stars would have to align in all the wrong ways for us not to come back rich and healthy, friend!"

Mr. Shredder approaches to give Dullahan a friendly clap on the back, but decides against it at the last second. Hitting a warforged seemed like a decent way to injure one's hand.

Dullahan chuckled a bit and nodded. "Well, glad to see you think so highly of me. I'll try to continue living up to those expectations." It... probably had been wise not to clap him on the back. The guy was practically walking plate mail. Might as well smack a wall. "Still, do you have any thoughts of what we might come up against? It's good to have expectations for what conflict comes."

The Hobgoblin scratches his chin. "Can't say I do. We visited this star on the Astral Kraken's test flight, saw some worlds orbiting it that looked to be worth checking out, so now we are going to do the checking out. Could be anything down there!"

Mr. Shredder snaps his fingers, as a thought strikes his head. "Oh! Beasts! We can hunt some beasts if there are any around! Guy I know at the Sharn Zoo is crazy enough to try and keep live aliens if we are crazy enough to bring him some! I've got a sleep spell, and some rope, so it should be possible... How are you with rapidly tying knots to restrain animals that may wake up at any moment?"

"I was a cavalier, I know how to handle animals... though I admit, my features aren't the best for it. Quite a few tend to get spooked by me. Still, might be worth a try depending on what we find." Dullahan said, thinking it over. "Hmm, depending on how these first trips feel, perhaps I might look into a mount again."

"Well, I suppose if the animal freaks out and tries to gore you, you are better suited to take it than the rest of us." Mr. Shredder remarks, "But unless we are stopping long enough and find supplies to construct pens below deck, I'd rather any wild beast on board the ship be completely hogtied."

The Hobgoblin grins. "I'd be perfectly fine with keeping a well trained mount on board though. Back when I was a kid, my mother used to brag that she could ride a horse. Not sure if she was telling the truth. I never actually witnessed her anywhere near one."

Altheros learned that the bones Chevash's armband came from a Swordtooth Titan, a giant carnivorous lizard. As a part of his culinary training he joined a war party that hunted it out across the planes, and had to find a way to cook it all. The fire involved was enormous. It was a wonder how such a gargantuan creature had such tiny claws.

"Heh, horses aren't that hard to learn to ride really. It's once you start getting more exotic that you have to start taking more care. Who knows, perhaps I will find something suitable as we travel. Horses are sturdy and steady, but I'd be lying if I didn't say I half hope to find an intruiging exotic mount while we travel. Though.. admittedly my options are a bit limited with my weight." He'd chuckle softly at the hobgoblin's anecdote. "As to capturing creatures... I'd have to nyx it if you plan to just keep them tied in a heap. It would just be generally cruel, as well as being both unhealthy and making it less likely the creature would be amicable to whoever we're selling it to. At the minimum I'd want us to have a cage for it, large enough for it to comfortably turn around. And even that might be a stretch depending on the length of the trip."

"Horses are easy to ride?" Mr. Shredder asks, "Really? Never would have guessed it. Perhaps I should give it a shot sometime! Only dealings I've ever had with the beasts is the one time I arranged the sale of a bunch of elderly mules and stallions to a half-orc butcher in Sharn... I... don't think those ones were to be used as mounts though."

"I just figured that a two day trip tied up wouldn't do too much damage to a larger, hardy animal." He continues in response to the Warforged's advice, "And if it did we could just get somebody to throw some healing magic at the beast before showing it to the buyer. But I suppose you are the expert on this matter... Better find out if anybody on board knows anything about carpentry or cage making just in case we find beasts then."

Dullahan nodded. "It may not, and perhaps a healer could repair the physical damage, but it would still be better for the animals to be given at least as much space as I said. The poor things will already be suffering the trauma of being taken far away from their natural surroundings, on something that would in all ways feel unnatural to them. If we want them to acclimate once we return them to our world to sell... well, we want that trip to be as nontraumatic as possible."
