"Pressed a button, but it would seem the door is more complicated than 'Press Button to Open. We probably have to close the first door behind us before it opens! ...Or it could just take a minute for the non-magical mechanisms to do their job. Either way, I know my next move..."

Mr. Shredder takes a few seconds back from the door, and begins to prepare a ritual of casting Unseen Servant. If nothing happens before the spell is ready, he sends the unseen servant outside to pull the lever again to try and close the door behind them.

The doors shook slightly when the lever was pulled. Their track might be damaged or weatherworn - you had to force it open to get in. Int/Tinker's Tools should be able to get it moving with some grease and pliers.

Dullahan chuckled and headed over, tools flicking out of his wrist as he started to get to work on the door, moving this way and that. It was actually quite interesting here, all the technological mechanisms. It just made him more curious what he might find inside, and if any of it would be of use past to sell or look at. Does there seem to be any mechanism on the inside for the outer door?

There doesn't seem to be any such mechanism, but as Dullahan greased and repaired the door's bottom and top groove, it slid shut. It's light turned green. There was another loud click, and a gentle hiss, then the first door's light turned green before it opened. There was a lever on the outside of it as well. A small antechamber greeted you. It held a mix of strange, airtight crates of an unknown material. It was built around a central spire with a few of those grey rectangles, along with other strange talismans, each connected to it by small and tiny ropes. Two other doors exited this room.

Several of the crates were open, revealing soft interiors made from another unknown material. You have no idea the value of the two suits of armor you loaded, but you're confident these stunning white crates would sell for fifty galifars each. There must be close to thirty of them. It'd take hours to recover them all though.

"The crates can wait, although we may wish to inspect the contents of the closed ones. Stella will inspect the other button panels to see if there's any less faded text on them.

The Wizard does some mental math. "If we can get all these crates back, they would be at least 100 galifars for each of us... not counting any potential contents! This place is a damned treasure trove!"

Mr. Shredder takes Stella's advice, and inspects one of the sealed crates. Is there an apparent way to open it? Or is this going to be a matter for a goon with a crowbar?

There are a pair of latches sealing each crate. You start opening crates. Most of them are empty. Some seem to have boxes inside them that have components of metal and strange materials. They were each labelled in the alien language.

"I think we should start with door on the right first." Brother Jonathan looked between the two doors.

Fyodor walked towards the door. His boots echoed on the metallic hull below his feet, making soft clinking sounds. Before he even reached the doors, they opened with a soft hiss.

A golem a bit smaller than a halfling rolled in on a pair of treads. It nearly rolled right into Fyodor's legs before it abruptly stopped. A set of lens-like eyes on a pole formed it's head as it scanned quickly up Fyodor. It made a beeping sound, and rotated 90 degrees in place. It moved aside, and turned sharply again, drawing a rectangular path around Fyodor, moving beyond him to the open box of parts. It seemed to follow the path he'd taken, a small bush underneath it spinning up to collect the yellow dust from his bootprints.

It paused in front of it and reached to close it, beginning to put it back into place. Small mechanical arms extended out with careful precision, snapping the box shut.

"This construct doesn't seem hostile." The monk raised an eyebrow at the little machine as it worked.

"Huh, what a strange little golem. I suppose it'd be a caretaker of sorts. Keep the place clean and orderly?" Dullahan said, watching the little thing with interest.

Mr. Shredder follows Fyodor into the room, observing the robot and briefly wondering about its cash value before deciding that examining it would be best left to the people with Tinkering tools. "If you still want to touch one of the local machines, Sormias, that one looks friendly enough!"

The Hobgoblin shoots the warforged a glance. "We are going to have to take it back with us of course. Hopefully you can figure out how to switch it off peacefully for transport... but we should probably explore this whole facility and loot everything that dosn't have the potential to fight back before messing with any of the automatons."

On that note, Mr. Shredder scans the room for anything else of interest.
