(SG) Assassination - Target #2: The Doctors (We're not alone...)
« Reply #210 on: November 20, 2018, 07:17:21 pm »

Go into the room ahead where incapacitated Anaconda 2 is, and shut the door behind us. Take Anaconda 2's shotgun, reload it, and wait. Lie prone on the floor, facing the door, and when Anaconda 1 opens it, blast them with the shotgun from our prone position.

Shutting the door as you pass through, you enter the room where Anaconda Two is, and discover that it appears to be a security room. You see a generator and a red door to the left. To the right, you see a bathroom with the door closed, a small bedroom with no doors, some screens displaying security camera feeds, and a radio. The room contains some crates, barrels, and tables, providing decent concealment in a firefight. Won't stop a bullet, but it'll make you harder to hit.

Taking Anaconda Two's shotgun and some spare ammo, you discover that it is a Serbu Super Shorty. Easy to conceal, but only has three shots. This shotgun has been professionally sawn-off, so its accuracy won't suffer as badly as a homemade sawn-off shotgun would.

Lying prone on the floor, you keep the shotgun trained on the elevator.

+1 Also grab the pistol and any flashbangs she might have left.

You also make sure to grab Anaconda Two's pistol and ammo. It's a USP Match, and a look at the ammunition in the magazine of the gun reveals that it's chambered in .45 ACP, and can hold a whopping 12 rounds, making it an upgrade to your 1911 pistol. You also grab the remaining two flashbang grenades off of Anaconda Two's body, since she's too busy being incapacitated to try to kill you.

The elevator door soon opens, revealing a man in a trenchcoat wielding a revolver. You blast him with your shotgun, aiming right at his torso. He stumbles back and leans against the elevator wall for support while you pump your shotgun, and opens his trenchcoat to reveal a kevlar vest underneath. He snaps his revolver in your general direction and fires, the bullet impacting the floor next to your head and kicking up debris from the floor. You flinch from the very narrow miss, and the debris gets into your eyes. When you regain focus, you realize that Anaconda One is carefully taking aim at your head.

Enemies:

Anaconda One (wounded) armed with Bulldog .357 and wearing Trenchcoat + Kevlar vest (lightly damaged)
  • Aiming right at your head.
  • His kevlar vest has been damaged, reducing the amount of protection it will give him.
  • That trenchcoat sure is big enough to conceal a two-handed gun bigger than a sawn-off shotgun...

Roll as quickly as possible, and once we get into a crouch, toss our shotgun at him. He'll instinctively try and catch it, and that's when we tackle him.

Roll quickly away and trow a flashbang at him, then after it goes off go out into the hall and shoot him in the head with a pistol.

Roll as quickly as possible, and once we get into a crouch, toss our shotgun at him. He'll instinctively try and catch it, and that's when we tackle him.

You roll to the side as Anaconda One fires his bullet not a half-second later, managing to get out of the line of fire. The bullet ricochets off the floor and embeds itself into the ceiling as you continue rolling, no longer visible in the fatal funnel of the door. Crouching to the side of the doorway, you consider throwing the shotgun at Anaconda One so that he'll try to catch it, leaving him vulnerable to a tackle.

It's a bit too risky, however, as you have to go up the (short, but still) flight of stairs to get to Anaconda One, and then continue rushing towards the elevator. And you might not even be able to throw the shotgun that far, or Anaconda One might just catch the shotgun in time and blow you away.

trow a flashbang at him, then after it goes off go out into the hall and shoot him in the head with a pistol.

You use the same flashbang trick Anaconda Two tried on you, bouncing the flashbang off the door frame and letting it land near Anaconda One. You aim a little higher so the flashbang clears the stairs and lands as close to the elevator as possible, and wait for it to detonate.

At the sound of the detonation, you draw your second 1911 pistol, loaded with JHP ammo, pop out of cover, and acquire the now-stunned Anaconda One in your sights. Although he managed to cover his eyes in time, the flashbang still managed to deafen and disorient him, anyways. You take aim at his head while he tries to raise his revolver back up at you.

You fire. Anaconda One fires almost immediately after you do. Anaconda One's head jerks back violently as he slumps down against the now-bloodstained elevator walls, while the side of your lower abdomen is struck with a dull, burning sensation. You look down and see that you've been grazed by a bullet. There's got to be a way to plug that wound somehow. Surely, there's a first aid kit somewhere. But where?

"Anaconda One, respond!" The commander's voice returns, this time from Anaconda One's radio. After a few seconds of silence, it comes up again. "Viper Team, enter the hospital and stand guard at the entrance. Cut off the enemy's escape routes. Anaconda Team, continue on with your mission."

Take the Trenchcoat and radio.
The coat will make then think we are him in the dark.

You take Anaconda One's trenchcoat and radio. Good thinking. You'll be able to disguise as him to the other members of the team attacking the airport, as long as they don't see your face.

+1 But also grab the Kevlar vest, the revolver and any ammo he had, then reload everything.

You grab the Kevlar vest. It might have taken some shots, but it's still better than nothing at protecting you.

You also grab his Bulldog .357 and his ammo, then reload all your guns. There is no .380 ACP ammo, so your MAC-11 remains empty. Due to insufficient 9mm ammo, your Glock cannot be fully reloaded. Your second 1911 is now fully loaded, but only 7 out of those 8 rounds are JHP ammo, with the regular bullet being loaded last.

Anaconda One was carrying nothing else on him other than a gun, ammo, radio, and his clothing. There's nothing on him that you can use to stop your bleeding. As you finish looting his body, you hear footsteps behind you. Turning around, you see a female doctor in the doorway, staring at you.

Question the doctor about who she is and whats going on, and make sure she sees we have a shotgun, to discourage any attack she might be planing.

Question the doctor about who she is and whats going on, and make sure she sees we have a shotgun, to discourage any attack she might be planing.

You brandish your shotgun and start questioning the doctor, noticing a strange, faint red light coming from the center of her left eye that causes you to stop dead in your tracks. An artificial eyeball on one of the female doctors? Oddly familiar.

"Doctor Faye?" You ask to confirm the doctor's identity. She does not show any tells, and remains perfectly calm and composed. Which only makes what happens next all the more surprising.

Immediately, the doctor bolts away from the fatal funnel of the doorway, no longer visible. You run into the security room to chase after her, but she passes through a door in the security room to an adjacent hallway, slams the door shut, and immediately locks it before continuing to run down the hallway, her footsteps echoing loudly.

The door has hinges on it, and looks breakable. You could easily bypass it with brute force, but it'll take time. Time that will only serve to give the doctor more of a lead on you as she flees.
