Centipede training 8
Things could have gone more poorly- the stupid beasts have proven remarkably resistant to training efforts, however we have managed to reduce the number of centipede based issues to them spending several moments consuming the flesh of their individual victims rather then gathering around the first corpse they find and consuming every scrap of it.


It is now the Production phase and thus time to divide limited resources among the three paths of attack.
You Can Maintain enough Constraining circles to Summon and Bind Alternative troops for up to (3) Areas. The number of areas they will be maintained near may be reduced to increase the number of troops in another area.
You Can Produce enough Runed cages to Store Up to (3) "Armys" of Demons.
You Can Produce enough Bows to Arm Either Officers in all (3) areas, or every troop in (1)
You Can Produce enough Plate armor for either Officers in all (3) areas, or every troop in (1)
We have (5) units of our Prized war horses, (1) is enough for every officer in an area, (3) Would make everyone in an area into cavalry.

MINION PRODUCTION
1 "set" of Circles can produce (1) "Army" of Imps, or (3) "armys" of Centipedes - Total

Questions? The centipede is still the size of a large dog so it should be threatening?, are they capable of insect/spider climb as in walking/climbing through difficult surfaces with ease, walls, and walking on ceilings; also guess they don’t have a venomous sting to their bite?

Also we can only store 3 Armies of Demons, but can create 9 Armies of Centipedes?, Wait the up to (3) Areas confused me.

while They are Not IMMEDIATELY threatening because of their resemblance to large insects, if they get in"melee" range they get VERY threatening.  They are Fairly capable climbers because of their large number of legs, but because of their size ratio they can't climb Hard sheer surfaces nor upside down at all.  No, this batch ISN'T Venomous- your mages couldn't quite "tune" them to that degree before the design phase ended.

Edit- There is a difference between having them hauled out by regular troops while the mages stay back, and having the mages lead them out themselves, as well you can "Store" them up for the next production phase rather then just sending them out.

Ah, so that is where the cage comes in. Storage means we have three armies of minions we can choose to either send out without putting our mages in harms way, or save for next turn.

A thought I just had, if our enemies turn out to be using necromancy, then having our centipedes do a bit of 'cleaning up' in battle could be advantageous.

Also, I can try to do a production plan for us myself, but not until I actually wake up tomorrow.

So just to confirm, No one else is suggesting a plan of action for your side? if the state of things doesn't change we'll continue through the combat phase tomorrow -Please note, do to a rather similar state of events on each side, this could be seen as an automated message.

What does transporting our units with cages actually accomplish? The units we have aren't really dangerous enough to need to keep caged, so the only reason to do it is to keep some of the mages out of harms way, and what benefits does that actually provide?

Well, Keeping the mages out of harms way can keep a number of things from happening- For example there is nothing at all keeping your demons from Slaughtering more of Your men then the other side if the wizard they were bound by is slain- as all his orders suddenly become Void while whatever he was ordering around gets to stick around until it is "Killed" by one person or another.

Here’s a more generalist plan to take advantage of every biome strength, like the pass doesn’t need as much horses and more infantry combat

This approach means that each side has a strength to it, the Beach has a lot of centipede divisions and 40% of them are Stored and it would be effective in a area like that, the Pass has Plate Armor for all soldiers with centipede support, and the Grasslands has a lot of cavalry since it’s a flat area
