: Sigh: More enchanting things and crystals. It’s goong to be Wands Race all over again when they figure out to turn the stuff off.

While our platform is amping creatures to new forms that kill things and spells that screw up biological functions of meat targets. For siege, battle critters.

Normal for, a flesh spell. Like a bolt that mutates muscle to immobile slime while boiling blood and noodling the bones.

Stuff like that.

Enchanting your implanting magic in objects and praying it keeps.

And thus the master Thaumaturge stepped forwards- a younger man who is clearly carrying many tools under his robe, who quickly explains what he will be teaching before heading off to gather workers and would be wizards.

It is now the first design phase, because the master thaumaturge is here you may produce An additional design relating to enchanting, and all enchanting related designs and revisions will be slightly easier until the next design phase.

Firesabre
An enchanted sword that is imbued with the power of fire. It is scorchingly hot to all who are struck with it but not to the wielder. When the sword is slashed in a curved way flames produce from it, burning those in the reach of the flames. The gems are produced by leaving them in pits of ever burning fires.

Just some quick ideas while I think of ways to get the most out of enchanting.

Enchanter's Kiln
Inspired by the rod of expel, the kiln is a simple container with a gem set into the ceiling of the internal storage area. In operation, an item of equipment is placed inside the container and the kiln activated. The item is then 'baked' in magical energies released by the gem until until the item has taken on magical properties based on the type of magic released by the gem.

Reinforcement Spell
An earth element spell that makes the target object stronger and more durable. This allows a blade to keep a sharper edge or an armour to better resist damage.

Hm, does this mean our enchantments have to be elemental-flavored? I was thinking something more force-ish, like arrows that seek their target or a saddle that feels completely steady to the rider. Maybe we could justify the first one as air magic?

I'm thinking an early game strategy of excellent horse archers could segue into flying around on magic boats or carpets and shooting cannons (fire elements right?) or guided ballistae in the late game. As an added bonus, the horse archer strategy should give us an advantage in the beach area, which is supposedly where the good wood is (further bolstering our archers). Maybe something like...

Mighty Bow: A firm, good quality recurve bow with an air gem set in it. When an arrow is loosed, the air magic accelerates the arrow to a speed much greater than it would normally reach. Ideally, the amount of power used should balance out so that the recharge is only a few seconds, allowing a steady rate of fire.

Seeking Bow: A firm, good quality recurve bow with an air gem set in it. When an arrow is loose, the air magic of the gem steers it towards its intended target, so that an arrow which might have missed by some margin will find its mark. Depending on how much power is needed to make this work, it's okay if the gem recharge slows the rate of fire somewhat.

I don't know if the seeking bow would rely on some clairvoyance magic we don't have, or what, but the mighty bow should be a reliable pick.

Because enchantments are made by sticking magic of some source into Gems- It would have been particularly unfair of me to *Just* give you things relating to enchanting to begin with- thus the elemental extra bit, However Any sort of magic can reasonably be used for enchanting if you research it.

Force Gauntlet: By infusing a gem of”’Force energy” to said Gauntlet. This is what you get. A Gauntlet that can bear/blast out raw force. As a bolt, wall or channel energy into swords or claws (light saber style.)

Draco Armor: By tapping into cosmic soul energies or Anima. This involves tapping into dragon souls. The result is mutated/enchanted armor that acts to be durable and adds strength and speed. In time can make models for draconian breath attacks and flight.

Fire Trap

An enchanted stone set in a copper disk and filled to the brim with fire magic.  The trap is set by placing the stone in the disk.  A few minutes after the disk is activated it achieves stability and if anything new touches the stone or copper disk the magic is disrupted and bursts forth in a deadly blaze that consumes the device and burns anything in a 3 foot radius.

Dick-Seeking Arrow

An enchanted arrow, designed to target the unarmored genitals of enemy combatants in order to force a mass route.  Despite the bravery of even the bravest soldier, they'll think twice about charging an enemy who's shooting Dick-Seeking Arrows.

If we opt to research something new, Golemancy would seem to offer some useful advantages. An enchanted golem maker doesn't put the gems on the front line immediately and we could also pursue golems with enchanted limbs. Of course the golems themselves might be best made with the aid of earth element magic.

Swift Wind Horseshoes
These enchanted horseshoes use the wind to help push the wearer forward. The horse and its rider will feel the wind is at their back carrying them towards their destination. Providing they are shooting forward this can also help an archer's range.

Smooth Earth Horseshoes
These enchanted horseshoes smooth the earth beneath a horse's feet, ensuring that the horse need never be hindered by potholes or uneven ground. The rider of such a horse meanwhile benefits from a smoother ride that makes aiming a bow or other ranged weapon easier.

But our enemy already have plated armor, making a armored codpeice for general use would be easy for them unfortunately.

Then we will have an arms race of hitting people hard in the genitals.

Lightning Spear
This spear made of metal, is bulky and heavy just as its wooden counterpart. The spear is enchanted with a lightning gem. Its wielder has to wear leather gloves to use the spear, but when you strike somebody with this spear, they are shocked by the power of lightning. This of course is an answer to the metal plated armour of the enemy, as we suspect that lightning will be quite powerful against their plate armours.

Mighty Bow: A firm, good quality recurve bow with an air gem set in it, and arrows with narrow, hardened heads to better pierce armor. When an arrow is loosed, the air magic accelerates the arrow to a speed much greater than it would normally reach. Ideally, the amount of power used should balance out so that the recharge is only a few seconds, allowing a steady rate of fire.
Slightly updated this, and creating a vote window. (No I'm not voting for the dick seeking arrow lol)
