I do sometimes get confused when people say "Max" and aren't talking to me. Luckily there aren't any other "Spin"s, I don't think.

For me it's avatar-pairs because that's how I recognise people, although I was mildly surprised when told that there are actually separate people named "nenjin" and "nerjin".

I read this board for years before registering. I knew very well that you and MZ existed. I even used your tileset for a while. And yet I used this name anyway even though it should have been obvious that this could happen! I don't know why.

I don't think I have mistaken one person for another, but I got the nickname "Eagle Eye" in school for my attention to visual detail and short term visual memory. Despite being short sighted I am very good a tracking a specific object with my glasses off even though anything beyond about 1ft is blurry.

I doubt I would be mistaken for anyone else though.

It's usually similar avatars for me. I usually determine who's posting by avatar, out of the side of my eye, so if the colors and shapes are similar I can get confused. I rarely look at names.

Going avatarless is the true invisibility cloak.
