So, you realise that red is used in a number of non-communist flags, yes? Like... a whole bunch. For example, the US flag, last I checked, had a significant red component.
The red background version looks communist AF, but the mere presence of red on a flag does not make it communist.

I don't have a strong opinion on the hero, maybe I'll write something up just for the sake of flexing my pathetically weak and unused creative muscles.

I have to say, I am partial to the Blue + Red flag; although maybe try it with the blue and red inverted? Maybe try different shades/colors/whatever? Really though, I do like that little partition thingy (I'm neither an artist or a flagologist; I don't know the technical term!) to the side; but do agree that its current colors as of present are not ideal.

The more solid ones bother me with how the coin is off center; its positioning was made with the partition thingy in mind, was it not?

A major improvement tbqh. Just moved the coin to the right a bit, since it had previously been aligned with the whatsit on the left that is was no longer there. Couldn't get it to look good with it set to the right or centered.

I do kind of like the black, but maybe it needs some brighter-colored border to make it look less like a pirate's flag? Also, flags are normally supposed to be cheerful, proud things. That is kind of not cheerful, so we should probably not do it despite how cool the concept is.

Could we have a Dark Blue Field Recentered? I'd prefer that to all the other options.
