Alright, for the folks that don't want to change the helmet, may I inquire as to why you don't want to change it at all?

It's mainly an aesthetic choice, isn't it? If it is then I like our current adrian and brodie fusion helmets better than a stalhelm for the greater faction we're aligned with.

More a coverage thing, moreover it seems our helmets are more a pure brodie than a fusion helmet given the brim thing, and I'd rather not have shrapnel killing more of our soldiers due to a helmet with poor coverage.

EDIT: From this post here and going off what MoP has told us of the cultures in the world, the two germanic nations are actually on our side of the war, not the enemy (The Selicate empire being russian/portuguese fusion)

We're aligned with the Republican coalition though, even if our country is probably one of if not the most conservative in the whole alliance since we're a plutocratic American Federalist style republic in a big tent anti-conservative alliance that apparently contains everything from democratic republics and direct democracies to revolutionary socialists and literal communists.

Though we aren't a federalist sort of system, given that we're pretty much a city-state And the merchant lords would prefer to just have the lawyers for one legal system, not several. Honestly I just sort of don't care. And, after looking, I prefer the current helmet's design anyway. Also I don't think we're getting any mechanical benefit whatsoever from the fact it has more coverage, which seemed to be part of your reasoning. We'd need to develop or revise a uniform for that.
