Also I mess up, we should of made  Totmone of clan Bolkisatud the female dwarf who has a disinterest in surgery but interest in other things the Spymaster since she would take her studies seriously and accept a different set-in-stone career path she has. Also just makes sense, so when we get spymaster vote again, I’ll try to do that again

Now, the problem is what to do with the ore. You may have guessed that Abystok has no smelting operations, since it didn't deal in minerals until... well, just now. You are given to understand that the runesmiths have some kind of special low-capacity smelting set up in their secret workshops, which you might be able to talk them into letting you use; or you could sell the ore to other fortresses such as those your artisans currently purchase metals from, whether outright or in exchange for the product metal (less some reasonable fee); or you could make a similar deal with the humans, although they only know how to make iron, not steel. You may also set aside some funding to try to entice dwarves experienced in smelting to migrate here, though they may even without special enticement if you begin exporting ores.

A) Try to convince the runesmiths to smelt the iron.
B) Make a deal with another dwarven settlement.
C) Make a deal with the humans instead.
D) Do nothing and just stockpile the ore?

1) Start a program to fund local smelting.
2) Nah, too expensive.

They could hire some more thralls and expand and teach other dwarves, they already must have some capacity.
