Some time later, one of your advisors who isn't important enough for you to remember the name asks you if you want to exercise your royal prerogative to issue a Mandate. You'd almost forgotten that was even something you can do! A Mandate is one of the very few exceptions to the strictly cash-oriented efficiency of dwarven culture; as Low King, you are permitted to make occasional demands on your underlings' production without having to pay for it. Of course, commoners don't always appreciate the exercise, but that's just how society works. Do you want to issue a Mandate?

So what is it most important to you to marry for?

D, this doesn’t inherently make our economy or political leverage good but it makes our intent of a completed marriage if we do; so companionship could add this thing called “character”
