Just a quick question - on Xtahua, the game version is listed as DCSS 0.22 (beta) - will there be a non-beta, or can I edit the RC file and play this?

Try playing for a bit and dying (or winning, if you have the patience). If it updates your own player page with the death but not the clan page, something is wrong.

Should I join the intermediate team? or is there going to be a second advanced team made?
I notice I haven't been instructed to join any particular team, and the OP says the blacksmiths team is full? (although the actual tournament page says it has room, I don't want to step on any toes). I'd appreciate it if someone could reply and tell me which team captain's name I should put in my RC file.

I think you're going to have to create an account on (arizona is the one I use) under same exact name, then edit your .22 rc file (non beta), then start a game and level up so the tourney logs the event/rc file.

I'm sure your server will have a .22 proper soon.

Or maybe it will go out of beta just as the tournament starts? After all, the purpose of the tournament is to celebrate the release, so perhaps it isn't "officially" out yet on that server?
