...This is all the blood he drank can tell him on the subject.

... $@#?

30 seconds. The tone is easy enough to understand, he awaits an answer.

Gaal'garot plans to milk this one for all its worth. He remains still until they decide to do their thing, or otherwise continue fighting. Just has to wait a little bit longer...

If they appear to be getting serious he will try to catch them off guard by doing something unexpected. Talking. In a language that they probably cannot understand, but it would be such a radically new behavior from him in their eyes.

"Are you things Sapient? I can't understand a word you are saying, but your behavior is leading me to suspect that you might actually be sapient beings."

The statement was technically true, yet misleading. Really he could have said anything but on the off chance that they could understand him somehow he wanted the words to have an impact. What are you even supposed to do when the monster you were fighting a couple minutes ago suddenly starts saying things like that?

?The boy looks a bit confused..

"Flan?"

Blood Memory+ experience, Flan is the girl's name. He's said it a few times before.

She looks at you and mutters a soft Focus.

Gaal'garot had initially assumed that talking would be a futile exercise if he only knew a few foreign languages like Old T'gathen, Common Tongue and Español. If things went even slightly differently, he could have left a lot less clues.

If the kids had half a brain, they would still be on guard. He decided to wait and see what happens. At the very least, he would probably get a good estimation on what "Focus" did for future reference.

Wait. Would this "Focus" ability give away information that he would really want to keep quiet? Gaal'garot searched what little blood that he had for any additional information about "Focus"...

Bit late for that. The Law equates Ether with Thought, or intent in this case.

A Golden Shroud springs up among the two as that last bit is uttered.

Gaal'garot's intention was to stall for time. If they knew that, then they would go on the offensive for sure. He felt that his odds of winning a straight up fight were good...

... But not good enough. Very old vampires and whatnot. He also knew that he could outrun them. That seemed like a solid plan. He would use his Supernatural Dexterity to rush deeper into the cave.

He had a contingency in case a light barrier attempted to block him. If that happened, then they wouldn't be able to use it to deflect the fang. If and only if they blocked off the exit, he would then toss the fang at the boy; aiming for center mass to maximize the odds that it would hit something.

Wait. Could focus be spoiling his attack plans? Maybe he could manipulate that with a devious plan...

-Light Impact
fwmm.

That was- incoming!
Prominent Ascent
Dodge left or right before the boy Fries you.

Note the girl closed the distance and fired(literally) and now the boy is attacking in near the same instant.

The boy had a tendency charge from Gaal'garot's left side. If he did that, then there would be more room to dodge by going to the right!

The wave of fire appears on your left. The girl was engulfed by it. The flames seem much hotter, and wilder. It seems to have gotten even hotter.

The fallen blade is a bit ahead and to your right. She seems to be moving to the boys position, as are the two in the back. All this is taken in at an instant before-
Falcon Rush- Redux,

The girl is right in at your left side, she was unaffected by her partner's Attack. A line of molten light connects the 2, a transparent gold rising from them.

Gaal'garot recalled that there was enough space to dodge upwards, as the girl previously was able to re-position herself by moving upwards to avoid striking her little friend.

Using his supernatural dexterity, his foot pivots to the right then he backflips to his left and curls into a cannonball pose as he approaches the ceiling. By the time he could do that the boy would have already passed by him to on the left side, so the top left corner of the tunnel would then be the least likely place that he could get struck by the line that connected the two!

Question, can you dodge In the air?

You act, jumping to the ceiling.{also, there is a lot of head room. Its a cave, not a tunnel like before.

As you move upward you see the boy approach and grasp hands with the girl.

"Flan."
"Right-"

The heat in the area has skyrocketed!! Flames leak out of the two like the very air is shifting to Fire! They're bleached Gold by the light.

Now on the ceiling for the next action. Movement?

Without bat wings, Gaal'garot cannot evade very well without a surface to push off of. But with a ceiling to push off of in addition to being in a contorted pose? He absoultely could pull off another swift dodge! He even had a little practice with this particular maneuver from when he exited the lake. As an added bonus, the kids decided to bail from the volcanic room before they could witness him doing this the first time.

He would push off against the ceiling to dodge diagonally downwards.

Gaal'garot suspected that the perfect opportunity to toss the fang was fast approaching...

The flames begin Coalescing, forming into four distinct shapes. Two emit from their backs, curving around their sides like wings. The other two are connected to each weapon. Flames jump between it all, the two within unharmed.

They swing the flames in front.

In unison, they say,
Scatter, Burning Blades!
The flames in front are fired straight at your general direction, flames jumping between the now fragmented blades of fire.

Action change, or confirm?
