Gaal'garoth decides that getting a solid bite in would be worth taking a hit. Having the use of even one of their abilities would give him a huge advantage.

He decides to dodge past the shield to the left side before going in for the bite, not even bothering to try to dodge the inevitable attack in favor of saving a bit of time.

You slip past-

He makes to draw, but you grab hold of his arm and head and Bite

Falcon Rush!

Looks like the kid has jumped up to take your head off. The barrier has faded, and, that's one angry gal.. What??

Blade: Rising Swallow!

A copy of the weapon just materialised in it's hand, might want to move.

Gaal'garot found it regrettable that he didn't have the time to extract more blood, but he got what he immediately needed. The first thing he would do is see if he could figure out how to use that barrier.

But not to be used against this specific attack; his mind wasn't that sharp. He already had this guy in a hold, and he had immense strength. He also noticed that this person decided to jump, which meant that he or she wouldn't be able to control their movement very well until they landed. Gaal'garot decided to throw the person he had already grabbed at the airborne kid.

Just to be safe, he also acted to evade. Right after the toss, he transformed into his Bunnit form, then sprint underneath the incoming attacker. The quadrupedal form would permit him to use the full extent of his movement ability while also staying low to the ground.

Tossed. And the kid flips mid-air to dodge! His momentum is shot though. You also note that line isn't connecting the two.

You move to dodg- slck
You just manage to transform before she adds a new line to your dress.{slightly wounded.}

That line has transferred to your Bunnit form, but you press on and run like a Bunnit out of Hel.

Lightning Descent!
Wave of fire coming right toward you. It burns away most of your tail.

Time limit up, damage too high to sustain transformation.

14 minutes left. 5 until the cave darkens.
Next action?

Gaal'garot decides not to let them regain their composure after their last attack. He makes a 180 degree turn and lets out another Sonic Screetch, then he dashes at them again and lets loose with a flurry of slashes with his claws using both his Supernatural Dexterity and Unholy Might.

After the screetch, he makes sure that he swallows what little blood remained on his fangs after the initial bite.

Sonic Screech

The blade is knocked away.

The kid looks to be a bit affected by it.

Hrmmmlli
That thrice damned barrier again. Its open at the sides, but quite wide. The blue line is connecting the two, and.. The other two are behind the girl. Her hands are extended.

Gaal'garot realizes that the screetch seems to be quite effective even on its own. He takes a deep breath, and then unleashes a flurry of consecutive sonic screetches while he waits for an opportunity to do some real damage.

(Also, the bite appeared to register in a previous update post. If there is a reason it didn't seem to do anything, you didn't tell me)

Well, blood is the contagion. And you don't quite have time to think before.

Sonic Screech, Full Power
While using it in a short burst is possible, its usual use is 3 seconds of a wide area attack.

He's definitely feeling it, even with the barrier. And the Blade is taking it too. The Human meanwhile, is going to be knocked out completely.

The others move into its Range. Unfortunately,
Healing Halo,
A ring of green watery light spreads across the field.

That tickles something from the blood you managed to get, dusty tasting as it was.
Right... Twin Rings and Knuckles are used by.. Move!

{To finish that thought, its healers, and knuckles are adept at in-combat healing, particularly the children in front of you}

The blood that Gaal'garot collected was proving to be woefully insufficient; and it was becoming more and more clear that he was going to need to get a few kills in if he wanted more before nightfall.

The vampire demigod was a bit lacking when it came to long ranged attacks right now... But he was a crafty thing. If his enemies were healing, they wouldn't be able to launch a co-ordinated offense or defense. Sonic Screetch probably wasn't going to outpace that halo, and they probably could still get a barrier up...

Gaal'garot moved his right hand up in front of his face and flashed a sadistic smile. He grabbed hold of his Right fang and applied his Unholy Might to tear it right off! He knew he wasn't going to get a good bite in so long as this group remained whole so he might as well use it for something else. He held the pointed end of the tooth in his mouth for a moment to make sure it was nice and bloody instead of seizing this particular moment to try a conventional attack. When the next opportunity arose, he was going to attempt to ghoulify one of them with his Curse of the Vampire ability. The fang would make for an ideal means of introducing his blood into their system without the need to make himself too vulnerable and if the perfect opportunity came along later he was perfectly capable of drinking using only one fang.

Barrier down. The girl is making a rush for the boy.
The other two are still.

Also, Bloody 'el, that's one way to terrorize your foes.  The boy and girl's faces are set in determination.

Gaal'garot, well aware that the kids are smart enough to fully understand, if not the exact function, then at least the danger that this fang represents. He will need to be tricky.

First, he lets out another Sonic Screetch. Any actual harm caused by this is naught but a nice bonus because he did it for the sole purpose of making his performance better. He estimates how long it will be before they are ready to put up a new barrier based on the frequency it was used in this battle already and keeps up the screetch until then.

He then holds up his right hand holding the fang, and goes through a big motion of throwing... But he doesn't throw it! He wants the kids to use their barrier to attempt to block it, then there will be a brief period where they will be unable to use the barrier when they need it the most! He would prepare to charge right at that moment, allowing him to charge right at them around the barrier in a single fluid motion instead of having to slow down to get around it.

He stands there and takes it. The Girl reaches him.
He passes one of the Knuckles to her.

The boy stands at your left, the Knuckle on his right, and the girl opposite him.

You go through the motion and throw.{palming it as you do.}

And nothing happens? That's the same pose they were in before you retreated from them last time..

...Memory,-/

"Wicked Being.. Surrender, or face the Power of Mor Ardain!"

"We will not hold back any longer. "

...You understood that perfectly.. But you don't quite have that level of comprehension of their language. Is it like those other words?

Gaal'garot wasn't entirely sure what to make of this situation. What he did know, is that in terms of raw power, there is no force remaining in this world that is greater than his own. The group of people also appeared to be much less aggressive than they were at the beginning of the fight which suggests that they could only use these special attacks a few times before needing to rest.

Heh. "Wicked Being". While the statement wasn't wrong per se, Gaal'garot distinctly recalls that it was them who initiated the fight in the first place. He guessed they might have said some kind of warning he didn't understand? It didn't matter.

Surrender wasn't an option he could even begin to consider so long as the sun still hangs in the sky, and retreating would only allow these people to recover and better prepare for him. The Power of Mor Ardain was simply something he would have to deal with. He would stand still for now, prepared to move as always and observe what the kids do. Where was the damn bit of memory pertaining to the light barrier? He would keep trying to think on that... It would be such a perfect thing to use right about now if only he could figure it out!

1 minute passed in the standoff. They're patient, too patient.

Well, at least he has an idea about how often that Hslo can be used. 15 seconds between each..

As for the Blood Memory, now that you have a chance to review.

That Barrier is apparently a creation of those Blades. They bond with humans.

The Blades offer power to the Driver, and the Driver uses Weapons born from the Blade. In return the Humans return something... That something generates more of this, Ether, which then goes back down the line.. The Barrier is a side skill gained from such a bond.

Humans and Blades are closely tied together... This is all the information from the blood you got. Basic Data that any experienced Driver knows.

...Wait...

Gaal'garot waits... If these people intent to wait for nightfall in this standoff, he was more than happy to oblige them.

He can feel he is on the verge of a breakthrough. As he suspected, these are not ordinary people. This bond... It seemed that there was at least some kind of similarity between it and the blood of the vampire. Back in ancient T'agsassith, he would use his blood to create vampires. The blood granted them the gift of immortality and in return they would spread his influence. They could even grant this gift to others; but the magic is intertwined and the death of a vampire lord would result in the death of all the other vampires that they sired. That is also a bond of sorts. A bond that he did understand.

He would think on it a little more...
