You play dead. Quite a performance too.

... There aren't any fish in this lake.. And the water makes hearing in your current form next to impossible.

Action?

Original plan. Perfectly still and no action unless I notice something noteworthy.

You've been down for 2 minutes. This water is starting to get uncomfortably hot.

Less than fifteen minutes remain...

Gaal'garot remains still for the time being, and takes note of the group's location via hearing... And also pay attention to the environment itself. Could this heat be a natural phenomenon? He had been feeling heat fluctuations even since he got to this world so an increase in temperature might be inconsequential. He wouldn't reveal his true nature until he was pretty sure that they already knew of it.

Another 30 seconds and the water is definitely way too hot now. It feels just short of boiling.

Gaal'garot takes just a moment to see if one of the "streamers" was starting to shine down on his precise location, and then moves from his current location underwater to the side of the lake. If it is not hot there, he will wait a bit longer to see if he was detected.

But if the entire lake is heated, then he decides it is time to emerge. He would do this by going straight upwards in bat form to find a dark spot on the ceiling. It should be fine to do now as he was unable to discern the presence of the group even with his Enhanced Senses...

But he still listens for the audio cue to take evasive action.

Still hot, you head straight up, despite the fact you were playing dead, and are underwater...

As you breach the surface, which is far lower than you remembered-

Boom!!!

This body's wings are ripped apart by the force.

It is Very Very Hot, and Steam is everywhere along the ground. Not only that, but the waterfall is gone, and quite a bit of the lake water.

The Bat Transformation Timer has been set to Zero. You have only a few seconds before you revert to form.

Well that would explain why he didn't find anyone. How inconvenient that this place would erupt mere minutes before the night. Were those kids somehow responsible for this? Gaal'garot had been finding signs that this might happen for a while, yet he still suspected those kids might be involved.

It was time to move. Gaal'garot would revert to his normal form immediately, then use his supernatural dexterity to push off from the ceiling to move downwards and diagonally to the lakeside. Then he would start moving towards the cave exit. He was going to want to leave the very instant that the sun finally set.

You immediately transform back and land on the shore. Heading toward the desert exit. A bit under 13 minutes left. Your body is completely fine, despite the damage the bat body took.

Looking behind you you see those kids, a thick Blue line connecting them. That Man in armor(without the helm) rides atop a beast. It appears to have armor, and a gem upon it's chest that glowing blue lines extend from. Both parties are covered by a transparent sheen of blue, and closing fast.

ES. There's someone ahead of you. And you can hear a hum from the other entrances back to the tunnels. They're standing directly in orange light. But you can pick out the same phenomena surrounding them.

The one riding the beast carries 2 Rings, like Chakrom, and the one ahead, a strange sheath with blue crystal escaping it. He holds his hand around it, almost as if to Draw. He also doesn't have a helmet, though has the same armor.

Gaal'garot remembered that this was around the location where the bunnit hollows were, and he still had the bunnit form for a bit over an hour. He could use this to even out the odds. He would then sprint towards the bunnit hollows. He would then bite the inside of his mouth in his normal form to get some blood on his teeth, then he would transform into the bunnit again. Next would enter the hollows and proceed to bite as many bunnits as possible using his blood stained teeth, to convert them into undead abominations using his Curse of the Vampire ability.

Twin Ring Wave!

A wall of raging red flames curve to funnel you as the twin rings create whirling walls of water on the other side. Danger! Your memory taken from those animals warns you of an incoming attack from the one ahead.

Fire was a major irritant, but whirling walls of water was something that Gaal'garot was less than concerned about. He would force his way through the wall of water using his Unholy Might and allow it to intercept the fire coming from the opposite direction. He would then (relatively) slowly move across the corridor until the light barrier came up, at which point he would decide his next action based on whether it was in front of him or behind him.

Eruption S-

You throw yourself through the wall of water, pushing through it's inward force.

-lash!

A jagged wall of molten stone erupting with steam in front of the drawn blade, right where you were. The rings finish their return ark to their wielder. And the water and fire wall dissipated after the attack.

The blade appears to be a katana.

They're be on you in 6 seconds, more than enough time to do something. A test perhaps.

He's shocked, and is just now sheathing the blade.

That shocked expression... That was a sign that this person would be vulnerable to a counterattack. Six seconds was plenty of time for Gaal'garoth. Especially with an attack that can move at the speed of sound!

Sonic Screech!

His plan was to knock his enemies off balance with this sonic attack, dash right up to them using his Supernatural Dexterity, then bite with his Nightmarish Fangs.

Sonic Screech

A sonic wave passes and knocks both of them off balance. They're disoriented. You rush toward, an d that barrier springs up around them.

The glowing being is in front, and the other sheaths their blade.

It's curved around them, but it's timing is off to push you back, you can attack from behind if you'll willing to take a strike.

The child puts on a burst of speed,

4.35 seconds left, right in front of barrier.
