You have three tunnels you can travel down. The animal one, or one of the other two.

Other than that, corners turned.() though its more of a straightish path till then.

Enhanced Senses-

You moved quickly, but that him the barrier creates isn't there any more.
You can hear them speaking. That tin voice pops up, multiple from the same spot.

It's still hot.

The group starts moving forward.

Gaal'garot considers his options, and decides on a new course of action. The "Animal Tunnel" could be just what he needs to seize an advantage! He heads towards it with supernatural dexterity. His next plan was to use his Nightmarish Fangs to suck an animal dry. With a new kind of blood in his system, new options would open up to him!

You move toward the tunnel with the animal scents.
As you move further down, you notice your wound healing. It's still far slower than normal though. The heat is still there, but abating.

Gaal'garot continues, and he perks up his ears a bit to see if he can detect any "magic words" as he moves forward...

You continue to a larger cave. You can smell water and animals, blood.

Roll, 2 out of 3.

This place doesn't have those pipes, they stopped a while ago. It's misty, a bit cool and.. Dusty for some reason. It's still hot, but that seems to be more the environment you're in. The Heat from before is gone, and your wound is disappearing. Strange.

Using your senses, you detect quite a few small bugs, some animals hunting them, and some on the ceiling. Looking up, they appear to be bats. You can also smell blood on something you can't hear.

As for how it looks, a few sunbeams are scattered about, and a short waterfall is nearby a small lake. It smells clean.

No magic words, but you can hear footsteps quite a distance behind. It will be a while before they come.

Gaal'garot takes notice of the sunlight. This part of the cave system isn't a particularly good place to be right now... But it is very useful to know about it. When the night falls, Gaal'garot will be able to exit from here.

The vampire considers the scenario. His Vampiric immortality would allow him to regenerate from almost anything... So why would it be strange for a wound to be disappearing? Wait. "Disappearing" not "Regenerating". Could he perhaps have some kind of mysterious ally? Or more likely, could -they- have a mysterious enemy? Or maybe traces of moonstone could be found here?

Insects made for a poor choice of prey, as they had ichor inside of them instead of proper blood; and even if that were not the case they would simply not have enough for a prolonged effect. The bats on the other hand, while a bit cliché, would suit his intentions well. If they were anything like a similar species that he knew, they had the ability to fly, see through the use of echolocation, and it would even be extremely un-suspicious for them to avoid light. The bats would also have a limited, yet non-zero amount of spacial awareness in their brain, and at least some knowledge of local predators.

Gaal'garot would use his Supernatural Dexterity to grab a few of them and drain them of blood...

The bats dodge and begin attacking you. You snap their hollow bones and drain them of their blood.

1 manages to hit you with some sort of sonic attack, but you shrug it off and kill it as well.

You now have 4 husks to dispose of. And Bllod Devilry triggers.

You can now transform into a bat for 10 hours.

Info gained-
The only predators in the cave is some sort of large 10-foot snake. The two-legs mostly ignore the bats in groups.

There are those glowing beings to avoid---(info incomplete)

You've also temporarily gained access to Sonic Screech, a sonic attack.

The deserts outside have a number of creatures that roam at night. While these caves have furry animals that carry things with their tails. You can partake of those fairly easily.

This didn't take more than a minute.

Gaal'garot continues to act. First order of business: The bat husks. He wasn't that worried about people finding the husks of bats, so he would dispose of them by covering them with a sufficiently large rock which seemed like a good compromise of effectiveness vs effort.

Next... His attention turns to the lake. He briefly entertains the idea of infecting it with his blood, but decides against it. The sun was peeking through above and the absolute last thing he wanted was to potentially reveal his greatest weakness via an undead minion's incompetence. This was an opportunity that he would pass on.

Next, he wanted to get out of this particular cave section sooner rather than later as it was the worst possible place to start a fight. He would then traverse the caves in search of his next prey. A unknown furry animal that he believed that he could partake of easily sounded good. Good, not great. It would suffice.

Squish. You clean it up a bit, hiding the husks beneath a few rocks.

You track them down fairly easily and snap one of the loner's neck.

Blood Devilry.

This species has 4 fingers and toes, and runs about on all fours. They have a prehensile tail and use weapons found in the environment to hunt and eat.
If a weapon isn't suitable, they may make one them self. They also have large ears for hearing, and are territorial
They are fairly smart, if not any good at long-term planning, and reproduce quickly.

You can now transform into a Bunnit for 6 hours. Note that all bunnits carry something in their tail at all times. But you do have that pipe it was carrying. And it's husk.

You also now know the location of the snake. It's resting in a small patch of sunlight further in. You may be able to get it's attention, but even humans tend to leave it alone.

So the humans "Leave the snake alone". Interesting. This was information that Gaal'garot could make use of. If not for the fact that it was lurking in a patch of sunlight, he probably would have went after it. He had the impression that it was dangerous, and probably not specifically weak to fire. Of course with its blood he could take its form, but that wouldn't remove his inherent vulnerabilities. The snake might be more useful alive than dead...

First order of business: Apply rock to husk. Lets not make it THAT obvious.

Next, the vampire demigod would scout ahead a bit, going partway into new corridors to make sure that he wouldn't let himself get caught in a dead end the next time be plans to move. He made a mental note to pay attention for when the group of four got close to the snake...

Rock applied.

Scouting the area leads you to finding a few tunnels also leading in. And quite a few that lead out into the desert.

The animals seem conditioned to not go down them, and you can hear humans down each. They appear to be keeping a distance from this cave. You can also smell that strange smell on them.

You do not smell those children though.

This cave has quite a bit of greenery, and a lot of insects. The Bunnits also seem to have buried into the cave walls for there own homes.

Gaal'garot surmises that either the group is not trying to pursue him, or perhaps they simply do not know where he went. Or both.

Now that he found the exit to this place, he needed only await the setting of the sun. He focuses on the memories of the Bunnit through the use of his Blood Devilry power. What was it doing? Gathering food perhaps?

He would also consider the angle of the sunbeams going through the roof, and estimate how long it would take for the sun to set.

Seems it had an altercation. It was hunting at the time.

It should go down in 6 more hours, if time is normal on this world.(Gathered from Bunnit's experience)

Gaal'garot decides that he is going to play the role of a Bunnit until sunset. Not just any bunnit though, but specifically the one that he hunted. Using his Blood Devilry ability to take its form, and equip its pipe with the tail. It should just be a matter of hunting something, then bringing it back to its hole in the wall.

He should be able to keep up this facade until sunset with ease, going through the motions until something noteworthy happens...

You transform, and play the part, or try to.

When you enter the hollows after hunting a few catapiles, the Bunnits look at you with suspicion.
