No response, but your words do ring out across the Ether.

You try and create another portal.

10 seconds, 20, 30...

Just the barest hint of light forms after 30. Another half minute, another fleck forms.

Apparently, she slowed down the formation of portals. You also notice the water rising.

GM notes-

She has essentially left you to drown. Pragmatic of her.
Not like I even control those two, they have their own directive.

Do your Ice Cats need to breathe? Cause you can probably use 1. Being the size of a house makes escape impossible, but your Ice Cat can leave beneath the waterline.

They're just a clone made by freezing water vapour and nitrogen gasses into an ice version of myself. I don't really think ice and liquid nitrogen need to breathe, especially since ice is just frozen water.

First off, your Flight has been disabled by her attack.

Second-

You look around and even dive a bit. There are only two exits, and both are too small for you to use.

One at the start of the hall is likely the entrance, while the other is in an alcove and appears to be a side room. Likely where that woman slunk off to.

The floor beneath the water also seems to glow the same dim light as the walls.

Gaal'garot figures that he probably did not create a true vampire lord by accident. Probably. He wasn't too concerned about the possibility.

There was plenty of time left in the night, so he would continue on his travels. He decides to try heading to the south...

You head south.

You eventual sense something buried beneath the sands. Another scorpion, probably.

Gaal'garot does not currently have the inclination to hunt a second scorpion. He continues his travels...

A bit farther and you begin to see a change in the area. Its looks like grassland is ahead.

It's been about 40 minutes since you started from the Spidercave.

Gaal'garot recalled that the moon specifically wanted him to hunt the monsters of the desert. He would change direction to start moving east until he was fairly certain that he wouldn't be observing the same stretch of land twice. Then he would start going north.

As you move east along the land, the grasslands travel along the path, their edges slowly reaching north.

After 10 minutes, you spot a lake to the southeast, with houses nearby on the other side of it.

You can travel northeast from this point if you wish.

Gaal'garot saw no extreme hurry to hunting more desert monsters. If there were just a few houses by the lake, this could be an opportunity for him to learn the language of the locals.

He would move closer to the houses to get a better look. He would spend a bit of time just walking around outside to see if anyone would immediately "Detect" him through means he did not yet fully understand.

You head toward the lake. The stars shine upon it with the moon.

You see a few people keeping watch from across the lake.

Moon sense tells you of creatures within the lake.
