Gaal'garot decides to forget about it. If he cannot sense something, then he would be at a disadvantage. He would listen to the sounds at the intersecting path. The incoming group would need to figure out the correct way to go when they get there. He would stay where he is until he knew which path they would take. If they went the wrong way, he could slip past them.

Gaal'garot takes a look at the barrier. Does it stop at the stone cave walls, or does it seem to go through them?

If its the former, then Gaal'garot applies his Unholy Might to the wall just to the side of the barrier to dig through the stone instead.

Failing that, he would need to go back the way he came. If he had to do this, then he would go at full speed to maximize the distance between the location of the combat and the barrier.

You use Unholy Might on the side.

Zzpap!

A blast of lightning blasts out of the hole.
Being undead, all this does is cause spasms, but that would have hurt a lot more if you were living.

The barrier seems to have filled in the opening.

You head straight out at full speed. This diversion took nearly 3 minutes. 5 until sunset.

As you exit, you spot the group dealing with the last bat. Of the Bunnits, you see no sign.

Only one thing to do now. Gaal'garot charges into combat. He runs straight at the closest blade and gets a pre-emptive strike in the form of a jump kick aimed at the head. His unholy might would make this a lethal blow to any normal person if it connects...

But it wasn't angled for absolute maximum possible damage. Gaal'garot expected a barrier to pop up. His true intention was to trigger it by striking it with his feet and flipping off of it to jump above the barrier so that he could vault the first blade and then deliver a hard blow with momentum to the next closest one.

If he actually lands a solid blow on the first one, then all the better.

The air alights once more as the kids each take a weapon, a molten gold line connecting them still.

To note... You are headed straight into their range. Not a good thing.

The fact that Gaal'garot was heading into their range didn't matter. There was nowhere else to go so the fact that it was not a good thing had no bearing on his decisions.

They were still in the middle of finishing off the last bat. There would not be a better time to strike than right now. Gaal'garot didn't have a lethal ranged attack that would work, despite his best efforts.

No. No. It didn't matter. He hated to do this so very very much... But he was going to have to rely on his single most powerful ability: His Vampiric Immortality!

After this final trick with the attempted shield vault... Gaal'garot would switch to a more barbaric form of attack. He would single out the weakest looking opponent and make a mad dash for them. He would allow himself to take blow after blow while pursuing them relentlessly, just so that he could finally drain a meaningful amount of blood! This was the only trick left. His final last resort tactic.

These kids just entered phase 2 of this boss battle!

Gaal'garot will sacrifice his ability to make near-instantaneous responsive reactions in favor of adding additional force to the actions that he does make. Gaal'garot will only attempt to dodge the most clumsy or decisive blows.

Phase 2.

You strike at the animal blade.

The barrier shoots up, but..

sc.. Crescent Slash

Another punch and, shatter

The blade is sent flying, knocking its driver off balance. You're also missing your left arm, but meh.

Blazing Blades, Circular!

And those front blades are curving in toward you..
The other two are to your left. And the stumbled driver right in front.

Gaal'garot sprints forward towards the driver, turning into a bunnit at the last moment to dash underneath the incoming fire attack. After clearing it, he transforms back.

It was time to bite.

(I almost made a silly mistake. Fortunately, the GM was offline for long enough for me to edit it)

The driver dashes back, as you dash into the now separating blades.

You change at the last moment, and lose just about everything as the blades whip down on your location...

They bounce, and your form shifts back and you bite down, Rings cutting into your flesh.

The Blades are open. You have a half second before they scythe back inward. Your bunnit form is also toast, and you're still missing that left arm. Other Driver is cut off from you. You are Injured.

[On another note, what was your action before?]

Not making the same mistake twice, Gaal'garot latches on hard and starts drinking as much blood as he can as fast as he can. He uses his Unholy Might to spin around 180 degrees to face the incoming attackers as he does so. For their next attack he had a shield! If they want to finish that attack they will need to cut down their friend!

(The previous version of the action was to use the lost arm as a weapon to attempt to the the blood in it offensively if you're curious)

They bring them in and Scatter..

The blades Scatter in a circle around you, before igniting in a semicircle around your back.

Cric
go the knuckles

Action this instant?
Note, blood indicates danger, to you. Savior to him.
(Note, think Ivy's weapon from Soul Caliber)
[Only far more dangerous being Ethereal Solid]

If Gaal'garot was going to lose his grip on this guy either way, then he should prevent at least half of that prediction. He would use his good hand to grab his head, then use his Unholy Might to crush his skull.

He would not stop drinking during this. If anything, he would try even hard to get more blood into his system, jamming his hand into the wound on his other shoulder to put even more blood into him. If this ability was "Savior to him" then he needed to transform into him and he needed to do it now.

Crush
Head is gone. And Fury unleased upon you-

Fwsh-

You're engulfed in blue-yellow-green flames, burning away at you bit by bit.

Blood begins to burn away, but you drink deeply of the Arterial Blood.

Nonetheless, it may be good to jump away before the flames flash.

Gaal'garot was unsure what an Arterial was. He would need to think on that later.

Knowing that the attack was going to intensify, he decided that given the option he should indeed jump away. Using both Supernatural Dexterity and Unholy Might, he would diagonally jump to the ceiling in the direction of the exit, and then jump off the ceiling Diagonally downwards; also towards the exit.

He would keep his grip on his former enemy while doing this. No matter how this plays out, he would need as much as possible.

Jumping. Burning. Flesh slowing off.

You make it, but your second jump doesn't really work. Or your first landing for that matter. You kinda cling to the ceiling

And now a Couple of bats(3) are attacking.. Great.

To Note, A few muscle groups, most of your skin, and your intestines are burnt off. And most of your skin. And you're still missing an arm. Oh, and that thing you call a heart, along with lungs.

You are, in general, only being held up by a combination of your immortality, this world's laws, and sheer experience.

On the bright side, you're alive, even missing a tounge...

Not much of one, but you can still fight. Or running might be a good option. You can push off, grab a bat, and swoop away.

4-30 till sunset.
