It seems the only animals in the cave are the bats, and the Bunnits.

Gaal'garot had previously lost his bat form. Bats were good enough.

The bats are clustered in groups near the ceiling. If you're to get them, you may have to deal with them again.

That's right... If trauma was applied to a group of bats, they would use their Sonic Screetch. That would be pretty much like shouting "I'm over here! attack me!". Not quite ideal for Gaal'garot.

Only nine minutes remained until sunset... And didn't the humans avoid the bats when they were in groups? This seemed like an excellent place to rest for a while. Gaal'garot decided to do just that.

Rolling. D6. Roll was 1... This is a bit ridiculous.

Barely a minute passes before you hear a crackle from the group's direction. They start moving in your general direction quickly after. From the sound, the one you drained blood from is up as well.

It was time to leave the room. But not before Gaal'garot set up a little diversion. He let out a gentle sonic screetch and aimed it towards the direction that they would come from before they actually entered this part of the cave, then he would dash deeper into the cave. This seemed like the best way to communicate to a bat that a threat is coming from a specific direction. The bats are unlikely to hear Gaal'garot with his silent footsteps, and they would be even less likely to see him with their poor eyesight. But they would know what a Sonic Screetch means.

Screech sent. They head down in force toward your direction.

$#:.

You head farther down the cavern.

Gaal'garot would then move to the intersection with many paths. He would use this time to see what is at the end of some of these pathways to get some information. Perhaps a series of tunnels that goes in a circle, some kind of equipment, a new place to go that he didn't previously know about... Any information that he could use for his improvisation act.

Right, those paths.

You head to one of the tunnel entrances, as you approach 1, you hear some sort of sound, like an extremely low hum.

As another note, the group ha-

Prominent Ascent!

Never mind, it seems to be going poorly for the bats.

Gaal'garot quickly looks around. Do any of these tunnels have stalactites? If they did, he had an idea for an improvised trap he could make.

If at least one of them did... He would leap up and apply some of his blood to the tips of the stalactites...

If none of them did, he would instead focus on picking up some stones and killing any light sources in the area. It wouldn't be hard for the incoming group to overcome the darkness, but it wouldn't be completely effortless.

None as you enter the tunnel.

You move in, breaking light sources as you go. The Him is getting louder.

Gaal'garot moved a bit deeper, to the place with the pipes. He would feel the pipes once again. Were they now... Vibrating? Was it hotter than it was before? If so... It would suggest that the entire place is now unstable; probably due to whatever the kid did in the waterfall room... This might make them hesitant to use a full force flame attack.

There are no pipes in this part of the tunnel. You move e forward a bit more, only to find a shifting purple barrier with golden traceries running through it.

Gaal'garot knew for sure that this barrier was definitely not there before. Why would it be there now? He used his enhanced senses to see if anyone seemed to be deeper in the cave. If not, then he would continue to move forwards. If this cave had some kind of big secret... Well he didn't plan to ever return here after nightfall so he might as well investigate now.

Unfortunately, this barrier is the only way forward. There are no other paths. This is blocking everything, and nothing can be sensed behind it.

Action?
