Confirm. If they are already going in my general direction then given the choice, I should move.

If anything, I should move even more; transitioning to a cartwheel after the push from the ceiling to move even further away from the left wall now.

You jump diagonally down from the ceiling. Those two flames from their back spread as they dash fowsrd. They'll be on you in the next two seconds and flames are still gathered around them.

Note that the exit to the desert is behind, a bit to your left. There's another exit along the cave wall that way as well. Or you can simply jump out one of the skylights when the time comes.

Note, actually to your left now. 2.1 seconds.

Gaal'garot knew damn well that the sun didn't set yet. Leaving the cave was the worst possible thing to do. Worse than taking the attack dead on. The rays of the sun would kill him more efficiently than these kids ever could.

If the flames covered the entire cave room, then the only way to dodge... Gaal'garot used his Unholy Might to slam into the cave floor. If there was more cave below him, he would break through the floor and fall deeper into the cave...

---Superstrength interaction has been triggered

C-boom! The entire area around you erupts in jagged stones and earth. The ground shakes.
Thankfully the room didn't collapse, though there are worrying cracks.

The blades above you strike the wall and end up shattering, the flames connecting them having been forcibly disconnected.

That isn't going to slow them down for long, but it buys you 15 seconds of time.

Gaal'garot was not entirely sure what just happened... But it looked like suddenly the tables had turned. It was time to go on the offensive.

First, it was time to trigger that light barrier. He would do this by tossing his previously severed fang straight at the boy. If they decided not to use the barrier, or if they couldn't... All the better.

Gaal'garot wouldn't even wait for the attack to connect before taking his next action. He would then re-position himself to get behind the kids, or at least to get the best angle that he could. If the barrier went up to deflect the fang, then he would be in exactly the right place the moment it went up.

zwm- Fang thrown.

Zwp, one of the flames from their back whips across, knocking the fang off course.

You move amongst the rubble.

That was a bit worrying. Evidently they were really going all out to try to take Gaal'garot down as quickly as possible. But they wouldn't be able to keep up such an attack forever. It was time to move. Gaal'garot ran deeper into the cave at top speed. He still had about a 14 second head start, which was more than enough to turn a couple of corners.

Not any corners for a while, but you move with all your speed.

Scatter, Burning Blades

Fmmmm

And you have a wide area attack coming at you. Great.

They don't need to chase you to hit you. Wall to your left, open space ahead and to the right.

Another conundrum. It seemed like there was no way to dodge it... Wait. There actually was! This was the room with the Bunnit Hollows!

Gaal'garot uses his enhanced senses to pinpoint the location of the Bunnit Hollows. He would use his Unholy Might to slam into the wall where the hollows were at full speed. This would give him hard cover against the incoming attack!

If he was lucky, he would even be able to bite into another Bunnit. He might even need the form to dodge the next one.

You slam into the Bunnit Hollows.

There's more space in the main rooms but you are a bit too tall for it. They're not happy, and attack you from all directions.

As a side note(funnily) the attack curves to slam into the rubble you made, partially melting it closed. It doesn't touch you though.

Gaal'garot could accept that some demihumans with some fancy technology could give him some trouble when he was out of his element. But he absolutely refused to be intimidated by these Bunnits!

First things first, he would sink his tooth into one of them to suck some blood. Didn't need to suck it entirely dry; he didn't need the full six hours. After doing that, and probably taking a few blows, it would finally be time to make use of this Curse of the Vampire ability. He would scratch at his palms with his claws to draw blood, then start fighting back against the bunnits with bloodstained claws. They would stop being a problem for him after being ghoulified.

He would also use his enhanced senses to observe the status of the hollows. Was there another exit? If a bunnit could fit through it would be good enough.

There is in fact, another exit.

They strike with their pipes and rocks, breaking skin, and bruising you.

You bite one and suck deeply, before using that blood to affect any you can reach. They in turn attack with their bloody weapons and convert more.

It turns into a full on battle within the hollows, and you slip away.

You have to fight a few more on your way out, but your might makes your tail a deadly weapon on its own.l, and their blood, a perfect map.

Gaal'garot found it strange that he didn't detect another fire attack from those darn kids after all that. Did they already tire themselves out? Maybe they thought that they landed the hit? Or maybe they were just now encountering his handiwork in the hollows...

His next order of business is to figure out exactly where he is relative to the rest of his knowledge of the cave. Can he smell if the kids are on the move? Can he smell that old snake? And whatever happened to the other people that were with this kids? If he couldn't detect them he could only assume they retreated to get more backup...

You move to one of the entrances and listen. The sound of fire appears to be missing. You think that they're tending to their wounded. You still here the sounds of bunnit to bunnit combat back in the tunnels.

The sun no longer enters the cavern, but there's still light out.

It doesn't help that the entire cavern appears to be lit like sunrise though. It does seem to taper off some distance away. And it looks like the waterfall and river is running again..

No snake, though.

The partially sealed exit should still be large enough for bunnits to get out, so the kids probably wouldn't get too much chance to rest.

It seemed that Gaal'garot had eluded the immediate threat, so he could do some recovering of his own. He would use his Stealth ability to see if he could find some other animals in this cave. A proper drink would be just what he needed to expedite his regeneration process, and having distance between himself and the "Blades" seemed to help too.
