Turn 3IRRADIATE EVERYONE MORE!
No roll needed. For obvious reasons.
Peacefully wait for the lieutenant to return. I'm sticking with this horribly stupid idea.
That’ll be a -1. It’s still quite ridiculous, but less so.
Rolls:
1 3 → Critical failure
Well I'm gonna have to try some ting else now.
Ask one of the guards if I can go the a bathroom.
Uh, this actually demands a roll, abiet at +1 advantage…
Rolls: 1
2 → Failure
See about getting my hands on standard issue gear.
You have your +2, but there’s a -1 difficulty… and your +1 from disguise of course
Rolls: 1 1 1
2 6 → Failure
State. that I just want to find some food and have no clue where I am. If given an opportunity, continue my plan.
Wait, that’s actually a good deal more believable than this stuff about ears and all. So no advantage or disadvantage one way or the other.
Roll:
6 → Gone horribly right
The lieutenant rounds the bend and glowers at Bobkikov.
“Um, guys…” says Bobkikov. “I… I don’t really know where I am…”
The lieutenant’s face turns quizzical, then concerned. “You really don’t know where you are?”
“This isn’t the food court?” asks Bobkikov.
“No, it’s not. You had no idea this was a missile bay?”
“It is? Oh sorry then. I just wanted to find some food…”
The lieutenant turns to the guards. “He clearly’s just lost on a ship more complex than any he’s seen. Have someone follow him at all times to make sure he doesn’t blunder into the wrong place again.”
He walks up to the tower again, where Nicolai is still standing. “And why are you still here?”
Nicolai gestures to his ear. “I wanted to thank you for giving my hearing back-”
“You expect me to believe that?” asks the lieutenant. “Tell you what. I’ll let your own countrymen sell you out.”
He’s dragged down to the brig.
TricMagic, on the other hand, tries to find some standard-issue gear, but finds his way blocked by suspicious Forenian guards at several crucial turns. Quietly, he slips away.
Meanwhile, in the brig:Zultan sticks his face to the bars. “Guards, can I use the bathroom please?”
“No,” one says. “There’s a chamber pot in your cell, use that.”
(You might remember earlier I said there’s nothing in your cell? You’re right. There’s no chamber pot, so you have no idea what he’s talking about.)
Meanwhile Kot is trying to irradiate people by pointing his tumors at them. Ovechkin is quietly sitting alone.
The lieutenant strides into the brig, dragging Nicolai behind him. “Vlanladosians! Do you know if this man is hard of hearing? If one of you tells the truth, I’ll let him out.”
Everyone in the brig can decide what to say.
