Well, I guess this is more logistics than anything else. The mountain is likely to be full of resources we can use, so Taking control of it and keeping it that way is important.

Do we have steel production?

Would also suggest thinking about loading it on our ship-decks. Controlling that
Island is important for defense.

Quote
Seth Demi-Culverin
Much like a musket, the Seth follows the principles of ballistics, but on a much larger scale. Its projectile is an eight pound iron sphere--alternately, a canister filled with musket balls--shot from the barrel of a bronze tube mounted upon a carriage which is to be pulled like a chariot for transport. The shot and powder are loaded in at the same time, with a tight linen bag containing both. To fire, the bag is pricked through a touch hole, a fuse is inserted, and the assembly is lit with a slow-match. As a safety precaution, the barrel is swabbed with a sponge in between shots. It is rifled to allow for more accurate firing.

Tactics using it are to involve mobile fire support, with the men operating it being provided horses so that the cannon can travel faster.
Seth Demi-Culverin Normal (4+3=7)Superior craftsmanship
The Seth Demi-Culverin is a moderately heavy cannon that is crewed by five people, the loader, gunner, an officer, and two soldiers to help move the cannon when no horses are available or in battle, to offer the cannon some protection, and to fetch supplies when needed. The cannon seems to be highly reliable and easy to operate, a cycle of loading, firing, cleaning, and then loading allows it to fire quite quickly relatively speaking, allowing it to usually launch two and a half rounds out per minute in the hands of a well coordinated and trained crew. So far through the testing, the cannons all seemed to need less maintenance then we expected, possibly due to the barrel constantly being cleaned after every shot. Regardless, we haven't had any instances of the cannon bursting as it is known elsewhere yet, but it being a testing phase, we can expect that such a thing might happen in the field, abet, rarely if our results are anything to go by. Costs 2 Ore, Cheap

It is now the Revision Phase, the Pharaoh has taken some interest in your work this year, seeing how well the testing has gone.

Can we test it on a ship? Blow up some trees?

Mini-Pyramids:
One of our blacksmiths was experimenting with using metalworking to make a model of one of our ancient holy pyramids. When he stepped upon it(accidentally) and drew blood, he took it as a sign from the gods and redesigned it as a weapon against our foes. Mini-Pyramids, or as some among us call them, caltrops, are tetrahedron shaped spiky iron caltrops.

We use them for area denial and spite. Lots and lots of spite. And ambushes. Seriously, these things kill feet! And hooves!

Don't worry, our ships will mount as many cannons as they can.

Rifle Decomplexifcation
As it says, revise and understand the technology of our rifles to ensure we can easily issue them as standard equipment.

Still, doing tests beforehand will be useful.

Not necessary in a game like this. It'll just either be used or not. Though the cannon is pretty small for the muzzle-loaders mounted on ships so it shouldn't be an issue.

Next two designs should be a rifled flinklock and a ship not sure the order.

Maybe we should revise a specific type of ammo for the cannon.

It’s already obvious, just look at the previous Egyptian 1900 thread of this game to see our game plan Ctrl+V, we’re going to make a three or two-mast sailed brig or barque next turn and fit as many damn cannons on the thing, and the next design be a rifles musket yes with paper cartridges and a bayonet for good measure since horses are still in usage. For revisions that more difficult to say, I have a glance at the first thread and get some insight
