Can you edit what makes History?
« on: July 06, 2018, 10:31:10 pm »

So, alot of my artwork when I leave them to themselves, is telling the story of that time the weaver made a masterwork cloth or that time the carpenter made a masterwork bed.
 Not artefacts, just masterwork.
And you look at your fort in legends and.. its mostly masterwork casual items

Can you mod that out of the list of things that get recorded as historical events so that masterwork creations aren't among them?

No.

[edit] To clarify, this cannot be done without editing the game's memory using DFHack or similar utilities - the best you could do would be to delete the historical events after they are created, but that carries the risk of corrupting other things (e.g. any art images that may have been referring to such events).

P.S. If you don't get this note, let me know and I'll write you another.
It's amazing how dwarves can make a stack of bones completely waterproof and magmaproof.
It's amazing how they can make an entire floodgate out of the bones of 2 cats.
