Help with the clue searching
continue with the clue searching while watching to see if I need to dodge Bruford
"So... Which way to the target?"
Run on ahead to speak with her before the scroll runs out. Try and calm her down.
Get a little distance from Buford, and watch to see if he manages to free himself and/or create a hole into the city. If he does, continue along the original path. If he does not, turn around and head out of the tunnel, up one of the several narrow trails to the plateau above, find one of the many doors in the city wall, and go in through there.
Try to push the stuck guy and then stroll out through the arch way and take a look around.
You all turn around, head down the tunnel, out the archway back into Omega Base proper. Then you follow ol' Brassbutt (err, don't let Clunkers hear you call him that - he'll murder you. Now, I know that sounds like a joke and all, but really, he'll murder you) up a narrow side trail overlooking the canyon floor, onto the plateau above and through an open doorway onto a wide, vacant street. You hear what sounds like police whistles in the distance - in the presumed direction of your target.
Make sure there aren't any immediate threats, then just lay down and close my eyes. I'll probably notice if the rest of the team finally makes it.
It occurs that a comm stone would be useful for a flying character. How much do those cost?
If you sleep through the mission, you don't get participation rewards. Also, you are on the opposite side of the Omega form the gang, so unless Burford manages to crack the street and get himself out, you're probably gonna do just that.
Comm Stone: 10 coins. 10 uses, rechargeable.
Forcefully get out of there using my golem strenght. If this causes the ceiling to collapse, shield my body with my arms.
(4) you twist and yank and pull yourself free with a terrible squealing of metal on stone. You are now facing back toward Omega.
Okay, good. What do I feel, exactly?
Hmm. You feel something like a low hum from underneath, and something tingly, like an electric mouse running up and down your spine. When you turn your head or otherwise use your neck, you feel a sense of sliding or tilting from everywhere.
Might have been nice to know before I used it. I also don't have enough for the Wind jump scroll.
Just this once, I'll cut you some slack and let you have the wind jump scroll for whatever you have left, since that was an abysmal choice of times for a translation scroll (especially considering that the Omega you are after speaks Common).
How in the world did we end up in the canyon then?
Omega Base is a giant canyon in the shape of a capital Omega. You literally live there. How you got there was: you were convicted of some grievous offense and sentenced to Omega. Unless you were foolish enough to volunteer.
