Dang, I wasn't expecting someone to necro the thread the moment I returned to the forum. The gameplay kinda got stalled out because of the whole council thing, which was kinda bad in hindsight. My notes for this game are on a separate computer now, so I won't be able to get started on it until the weekend. But if there's still interest, I can try writing out an update. It might take a while for me to get reacquainted with the story, though.

Alternatively, I have a new idea for a combined Risky Ventures/Arms Race kind of game. Basically, each player is a company, and they must group together with other companies to design space ships to compete in the market. Companies will get profits, and possibly discover new technologies to give them a leg up over competing designs.

So anyone interested in me continuing Knights of the Skies, or starting a new game?

Hah, you show up right when I'm talking about making a rip-off of this or doing a company based arms race in discord (that one not being in space though). That said, I'd play either. If you want to run Knights of the Sky, IMO you're probably better off starting over and trimming some features to keep it light weight.

This was a pretty neat game, though I'm not keen of the recent uptick in Risky Ventures style games. I'd arguably be in a position to participate if a KoS-like game were started again.

Give up on Verusa?  That sure sounds like something "the Kol's Greatest Asset" would say.

In all seriousness though, it's good to have you back.  In the last two years, this has become one of the most fondly remembered ARs.

Maybe one final update to get some closure?  I'd be down for a reboot.

As a Kolechian infiltrator, I would be very happy with either a continuation or a reboot of KotS.
