1. In that case, we can sell the bombs we had Knight 2 use till now. Besides we are probably going to use that squadron and maybe a few others as bunker busters and ship killers.
2. Yeah, though if we don't sell the bombs it wouldn't be an issue, or if we just upgrade them to Great Emu status.
3. It's better to concentrate our forces than to spread thin, besides if one aircraft doing one thing was good enough on every theatre we would have a balloon in the forest instead of two in the center.

1) Alright, I tweaked it to sell Knight 2's old Mk.1 "Bottled Fury" Bombs.  That balances the budget.
2) Sounds like a problem for Next Turn.
3) Sometimes 1 plane can make all the difference.  We'll probably take Estwice again with that much firepower in center lane, and hopefully the new bombs will help out Basselton.  Last time we didn't have any planes covering the approach to Basselton and they rolled up halfway through town so I still think that the spotter should go there, but I won't fight you on it.

Also, Cnid, we weren't copying the Kol's, we tried Tracers first as this patent from 1915 will clearly show.

Yeah when we requisitioned the grenades the army rolled up with trucks loaded with the things, they are obsolete for army purposes and there's a massive surplus of the things. No pp costs for them at all. Hrrmm in fact speaking of that we could modify some of those grenades and use them as bomblets in a cluster bomb through a revision. As for typing out Aerial Superiority.  If no enemy aircraft but balloons etc etc again and again I'd suggest typing Aerial Superiority+ Contingency. But defining what the contingency is once every strategy plan.

I guess we are now waiting to see the army and navy's response to what we have offered...Also you should probably vote for the tracers to go to the army, as that might just tip the scales enough to get them far enough to have secured the army's backing for our promotion.

So, we've promised...

Army: (66%)
.60 MG (honestly this is too big, we really should do .50)
   Share Engine Tech
   Tracers (?)

Navy: (0%)
   Kingfisher catapult spotter (?)
   Destroyer pledge (?)
   Torpedo Bomber pledge (?)

If each "item" does 33%, we should be good...Cnid didnt give us feedback in the most recent round of deliberations, though

You probably should vote on us offering our new tracers into the deals we have. Still, I think a 60. mg isn't that bad, what with our glorious super powered engine of the Barnett.

15.24 mm is pretty dang big.  It's nearly twice the mass of a 12.7 mm and definitely overkill.

No kill like over kill. Besides, it means that not even a second of accurate fire will snap a wing off one of their EFMs, and probably only a second or two of accurate fire to kill any larger or better armoured aircraft.

Armored? It's wood and canvas.  Slow-moving and slow turning.  We're still in the era of dogfights, not the jet era of cannons and shap-shots.

I said any larger or better armoured aircraft, as in, if they make something like a heavy bomber in terms of larger, and as for better armoured, if they copy the swallow and make a airplane that uses steel and canvas...Or if they make wings made entirely out of wood...Or they replace the canvas with metal

A steel pipe spar isnt going to hold up against 12.7 mm.

I am confident .60 is too large for an aircraft MG, especially in this era.

Well, the issue is I would rather not go back to the army and say "Hey guys! Guess what! We are going to reduce the caliber to 50. because we come first, not you!" because they probably won't like that. Besides, we can probably put it as an optional load out for aircraft.

Maybe we should ask them which they would prefer. After all, .60 is half as much ammo load as a .50, increased gun weight, more recoil.

I wonder what the consequences of reneging on a promise are (other than opinion modifiers). I wonder what the time limits are.

Probably quite harsh. As for time limits, probably the year. I do agree though that asking which they would prefer is fine, and something we should do....again you probably should vote on the council stuff.
