AA Defense fund
The release of our dedicated bomber, with a payload unseen until now, will surely divert the enemy's focus towards a dedicated bomber, especially now that they have finished their fighter design. The KPAF, with its aeronautical experience is the optimal developer for a way to defend military objectives from enemy bombers. A suggestion for our first design would be a barrage balloon net that would deny the enemy mid and low airspace, enabling only highly inaccurate high level bombing. The fund would be given a regular funding from the War Ministry (3PP), perhaps some extra die and we will swear to get something AA related every year. The Army and the Navy would pay a fee for the schematics, determined at the star of the project in order to deploy the AA themselves. If they think the project is useless, they can choose not to pay.
This is a long term commitment on our finite dice. Do remember we only finished 3 designs in the first year; while possible to get brownie points with the army (navy does not seem entirely convinced that naval aviation is going to be a big deal). Either way; we must be careful signing away a significant number of our future dice with no definite end.
Against.
Metereological station
The KPAF, owing to its knowledge of the atmosphere and climate, offers to take the burden of metereological prediction, in order to centralize such a vital information gathering which is so important for operational and tactical success.
In exchange, the KPAF promises to develop, in the spam of two years, a modern metereological station and share all information gathered by it with the Army and the Navy, deploying and maintaining one in every theater.
Yet one more burden on our dice and PP, Wizzy. Although thankfully one that does actually have an end point. Still, this is probably going to be another one of those things that'd probably have minor benefit; Wizzy. Not exactly against; but you're not getting me to second this.
Mayday Alloy
We will show both the army and the navy our new alloy, and offer them the material if they contribute some dice and PP to iron its faults. They can pitch in to point at the most glaring problems
I don't have high hopes for this gaining any traction among the army/navy (as in, I don't see us getting them to pay for it) but I'm for giving them access to the alloy if they want it.
Naval proposal addition
Alongside the carrier and bomber, we promise to develop an air droppable torpedo to further improve the effectivity of our bombers in the sea, so they can be a threat to the enemy's "battleship"
Going to need a design for either a new torpedo or a new bomber. It's too soon for a new bomber; considering that we're only just deploying the Levib; so a torpedo design it'd have to be. But no promising a carrier-capable torpedo bomber: It's
way too soon for that! The Levib in all of its 2-engine 420kg bomb carrying glory, can't carry our 700kg torpedo. The Levib very much isn't carrier capable.
Now, this proposal as-is is fine; it only proposes an air dropped torpedo; not one that is capable of being carrier launched.. Still; a 500 kg or so torpedo is likely going to be a bit anemic. Once more, not exactly against; as we'd possibly make advancements here; but it's easily a thing that can be sidelined for other advancements. We can't sacrifice all of our flexibility making promises though; we'll need to keep some dice for our own projects.
