On the other hand, 2 dice should get us at least a prototype, and it probably wouldn't be as useful on mountains anyway.

Actually, yeah, that's a fair point, deploying a prototype unit would still earn us some brownie points from the army. And having our planes be more agile than our enemy's would bolster our precious, precious prestige.

Not a winning entry, I feel, but hopefully good enough that we don't lose prestige for painting it on our planes. If anyone else can create/suggest something better, that'd be grand.

I'd lose the K, and have the winged shield front and center. Otherwise, I like it!

If there's any way you can sharpen the edges of the icon that'd be good. I think we've got a solid logo here though.

As you watch, a scout plane circles around to an unsteady landing, yawing left and right until the plane veers into the thick hedge bordering the airfield. The driver snorts as the bruised pilot climbs out of his seat and struggles to disentangle his red cape from the brambles.
It might just be a very green pilot, but adding that with what we know of our counter-parts' plane makes me think that the Feathers don't have enough control.

I believe the problem is that we're using wing warping. Since biplanes tend to have inflexible wings, such an approach cripples our roll response.

Two questions to the GM:
1.) Can we change the pilot training academy place-thing, or is that just set in stone like the dice infrastructure?
2.) How limited to the time period will we be with designs? I of course expect reasonable difficulty for improving our aircraft, but how "soft-capped" are we by the historical technological development of aircraft at the current moment in history?

I feel like it could use a little more pizazz and something showing it as more of an aerial logo, but I like what I have so far. Any feedback?
(I mostly tried to work this off of the "people's cross" mentioned in the OP)

Again, I don't think we need a K in there. Maybe stick Nuke's winged shield in the center instead?
