It may be worth swapping the acrobatics team out for neophytes. We need the experience on the front.Acrobatics is supposed to get us prestige after all.
I think the idea is that more experienced pilots put on a better show.
But given that it takes them at least 3 turns to increase our prestige by one notch, and doing so doesn't correlate 1:1 with more PP, I think the ROI is sufficiently low that we can cancel the shows for a turn or two.

I just want to put pressure on multiple fronts, while adding in the new fighters, and watch 'em panic.

Let new pilots fly in the air show so they crash more and increase attendance so our prestige increases faster. That's totally how it works, right?

"Man, that guy hit the ground pretty hard in that thing from a stiff breeze."

"And we've got guys using those in a war? Let's give them all our money, they need it more than we do."

If our next design will be the two-seat light bomber, what new features do we want on it? I'm thinking just the radio and bomb bay, keeping it wooden and single engine.

Is it practical for the second person to be rear-facing and have a machine gun?

I say we should do two seats, single engine, back machine gun mount, and design a bomb bay with bomb sight.

In any case it would be a battle of critical thinking and I refuse to fight an unarmed individual.

And possibly a revision to allow the bomb bay and sight to be converted to a camera bay or such?

First airborne radio was summer 1917; I think it'll probably require its own design, and a fairly large plane to carry it.

I'm not vehemently against it, so let's get this moving.

Why we don't make a new squad in the plan and replace planes for an existing one?

Damnit people, this is why I said to keep the truce. Because now everyone's ganging up on the cats.
Also, don't forget to contact your local Eldritch Being(s), so that they can help with our mission to destroy the universe.

Not sure what you're trying to say there. Plan C does involve a new squad (squadron 5), and does involve giving an old squad new planes.

Design Phase, Late Winter 1915

Squadron 2, Squadron 4 and Observer 2 have reached Rookie experience level. Squadron 3 has dropped down to Neophyte experience level.

The generals in the north demand more fighters be sent there to fend off the Verusan Emus and shoot down their balloons. They also call for more aircraft to assist the army, such as Hykib balloons for spotting or Feathers for photoreconnaissance. The current situation may deteriorate quickly if the Sky Crusaders send more aircraft to take advantage of their air superiority, possibly pushing the front back to Derboise.

On the central plains, there is some frustration over the fact that Verusan bombers still fly mostly untouched, but the generals there are for once, thankful for the KPAF’s support. The continuing provision of aerial photography here has helped army intelligence greatly.

In the south, the army and marines are confidant of capturing Basselton next month. Given the lack of Verusan opposition in the skies here, they suggest diverting the bomber escorts to other, more useful tasks such as photoreconnaissance. Meanwhile, the group of junior naval officers has been mostly vindicated by the success of the raid on Risleis. The navy has started a program to retrofit merchantmen to serve as balloon tenders, which will support future shore bombardments. For now, the navy continues to rely on the KPAF for the actual Hykib balloons. For next month, the navy has planned a sortie to engage the Verusan fleet off Basselton, in support of the assault on that city. There is little worry about the status of Mizogorod yet, as it is believed that the Verusans do not have enough troops in the south to overcome the defences.

There are some complaints about the withdrawal of the Crimson Eagles to serve in the south, both from members of the public and our own recruiters.

High command has increased your budget by 3 PP, as the country devotes more factories to war.
