(The fight never happened, so demoting him is out of option without murdering him)
It still said he was at my mercy when I got here.

It's considered impolite to destroy Cycles of work without so much as a "hello".

First off, create a region-sized cavern deep below Tarrant. Call it the "Basin". Include an ecosystem. Assume the plant's need for light is supplied from special bioluminescent fungi or something, I dunno. Make sure the Bastion has a tunnel leading to it. You get the drill.

Manual labour on this artifact. Keep it safe for now. Return to Divine Plane.

"...Huh? Sorry, I fell asleep... Oh, wow. It's been a while, hasn't it? Hi everyone! We're back!" "This is giving me a headache. Someone, explain me what's going on right now." "I wish I could! The only thing I know is that there's chaos! I love chaos!" "Yes, I noticed that. I can feel a strange affinity with this event. Whatever it was, ithad a deep connection with the concept of discord. It could have even been Discord itself." "What?! You mean, like the concept itself?!" "Perhaps, we don't know. I don't think anyone knows at all." "...Amazing! I feel so confused, so this must be really chaotic! I don't even know what's going on!"

Manannan drips

from the corners of the evening

in long languid tongues

fire upon the water

glazes like rain drops

into the white chickens

slick as oils and more potent

whispering

the sound of water

The world echoes with Manannan's susurrations. The Näckes teem up out of the waters, a race of monsters prepared to bedevil the world.

Species Name: Näcke
Description: Shapeshifters with watery bodies resembling their home waters; some of them are partly ice, while others may even contain fish.
Traits: Their purpose is to drown the world. They devour living things either directly or after dragging their prey underwater, and may build elaborate structures out of the bones. They are also capable of drawing heat out of things at a touch, freezing their victims or anything else they happen to want to freeze. They do not like to be away from water for more than a few days at a time, but can survive desiccation indefinitely in a torpid state awaiting the return of water. They revel in darkness and enjoy quenching fires, for which they use their heat-absorbing ability when direct smothering fails.

There's a cataclysm happening at the end of the cycle, Manannan. This is not the time for this shit.

I wouldn't be that worried:

[...] can survive as long as they are not completely dried out. They revel in darkness and enjoy quenching fires.

Any kind of "Greek fire" would defeat them. As they tried to put it out without progress, the heat would eventually destroy them.

*sigh* Very well. That said, do we have any sort of plan for preparation for the upcoming Cataclysm? I have a Greater Essence that I wnat to save for use in whatever plan is made, but if nobody is going to do anything I'll use it for myself.

"But this is exactly the best time for it! More chaos! More fun! Ahahahahahaha!" "Eris, screaming about causing chaos and how much you like chaos doesn't make you look more "chaotic" or spreads chaos more effectively. It's starting to get annoying, to tell the truth." "Oooops! Sorry, Discordia! I'll stop for now." "Thank you."

"This! So much this! I love everything related to the Greeks! They're so neat! If you want to recreate the Greek Fire, I'll gladly help!"

Under the GUTS system, I doubt it would even be difficult.

Hmn... yes, with some basic combining of Fire and Water Vis or Essentia - maybe with some Earth-aligned as well, for the oily properties - creating a reasonable facsimile of Greek Fire would likely be fairly simple with either Alchemy or Artifice and Enchantment... ok, good.
I'll have Julius spread this information to people in the proximity of the Näcke, should they prove difficult.

((Glass, can you consider using a grey or darkgrey glow? For people using Core (FG&RP default) and Curve (my personal choice), your cyan is eye-searing and hard to focus on.))

[Test, this better? I use darkling :p sorry]

EDIT: I just looked at it in curve. I felt the way I usually feel when people use really dark colors because they're just accounting for the lighter themes. Sorry. ._.
