Ema: a Story of Gods
(OOC)

Cycle 7: More Scheming and Plots of the Gods

The Seventh Cycle came, and with it the Gods decided to save their energy to reduce the Strain on the universe.

------Gasnareth Imrep------

Gasnareth Imrep created a Location, a Magic Artifact and an Army of Lesser Servants. He placed them all in Razel's Jungle.

Spoiler: The Rod of Lux (Magic) (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: The Bloody Tower (click to show/hide)

Then Gasnareth Imrep decided to seek the Realm of Aiwibhttjoikuboneschwëltom!ernauocks in the hopes of striking the God down...

[2] His search through the twisting and labyrinthine Other Plane was fruitless. Afterward, he sent visions and dreams to a Gremnear discontent with the rule of Vorius, and directed him to the Tower.

------Lifestealer------

Lifestealer saw Rykan's deeds, and grew worried. He created a Greater Servant to trap Rykan, as well as a Heroic Artifact to play with the unwitting mortals... Naturally, he placed both Servant and Artifact in his Realm.

The Major God then played with the Mortals who were brought to his Realm.

------X'arilyg------

X'arilyg was once more disappointed at the lack of cooperation from the other Gods. He now had more power, but still lacked some.

Splitting an Essence into 3 Lesser Essences, the new Major God then recreated all the Plant species of the Cornfield in the Iris Moonsoon Forest, where he also transported most of the Three-Eyed Bovines of the Cornfield.

He also told Opera to help the Great Sagewood rest, and teach the Theropod mortals wood harvesting and animal husbandry of the Three-Eye Bovines. He then returned to his Realm, in the Other Plane.

------Razel------

Razel gathered the power of Mpaïspmapma and Elmedo to give form to War. From a Quintessence, was born Cross, the Aspect of War.

------Unveiled Secrets------

X'arilyg, feeling the pulsating energies of the Greater Essence, decided to put it to good use. He created a Greater Servant, the Spectre. This powerful Servant was given a mission: to protect the Iris Monsoon Forest as well as its skies from any threat.

Manannan Silverhand healed Chook Guevera with 1 Essence, and thentold him to lead the Spirit Chickens to the Brumous Lake...

Razel begged Ema herself for an Essence, thus breaking the rules she herself set. Swayed, Ema accepted to make an exception on one condition. The God's standing would be severely reduced as a result. The Beast of Battle nonetheless took the deal-Ema stop you know you can't write on the sl-

"Ema though, was a tad bit annoyed. You are writing this right Carver? Seeing this Essence use went a bit beyond what she expected, she decided everyone involved should share the burden."

Razel, Mpaïspmapma and Elmedo lost a lot of standing

The Chicken Kabal signed the Covenant of War with Razel, which said:
Quote
- Elmedo and Maispapa give Razel two Essence and two Lesser Essence.
- Razel will use the aforementioned essence in combination with their own natural essence, as well as the promised Greater Essence from Xaril, in order to create an Aspect.
- This Aspect will be of War, and will be used in order to strike down Rykan and duel with Ma'Rook, leaving Ma'Rook unable to take vengeance on the Chicken Kabal.
- This Aspect will not be allowed to enact any directly hostile action against the Kabal or it's patroned creations, on the slim chance Razel and the Kabal do war in the future. In turn, Chook Guevera will also not be allowed to directly act hostilely against Razel or his patroned creations.

------Helyx and Ma'Rook ------

The Minor God Helyx and the Major God Ma'Rook worked together to create a small Ocean. A great flood rain down the world until the First Ocean was formed.

CARVER TURN

The Seventh Cycle came, and with it, the embers of conflicts between Gods...

------Cross, Aspect of War------

Cross and Rykan:
The Aspect of War appeared before Rykan, and brutally attacked the Greater Servant. Now trapped in the Realm of War, both Servants dueled...
Rykan and his Bag'o-Tricks: [11]+[2]
Cross: [13]
Rykan has been wounded

Fighting bravely on even grounds with the Aspect of War, the Greater Servant was nonetheless not strong enough.
Rykan and his Bag'o-Tricks: [14]+[4]
Cross: [12]
Cross has been wounded

Despite its wound, Rykan fought like a legendary warrior, managing to wound Cross... Now both on the verge of defeat, the Servant and the Aspect clashed for one final time.
Rykan and his Bag'o-Tricks: [12]+[2]
Cross: [19]

After the final clash, only Cross stood.
Rykan has been struck down

Dueling a God:
As per the Covenant, Cross then moved to the Other Plane to attack Ma'Rook in his Realm.

[1] But Cross, and its creators, had underestimated the Other Plane. Lost in its everchanging paths, Cross wandered in the Other Plane.

As the wound inflicted by Rykan still pulsated, Ma'Rook became the sole God aware of Rykan's true position.

------Lifestealer's Game------
The present Spirit Chickens, Drogos and Maoths spun the wheel...
Chickens: [3]
Drogos: [6]
Maoths: [3]

One Drogos won by transforming into a completely alien being: a cat. It earned him the Chest, which he brought back to the Drogos.

------On the Torus Continent------

Opera and the Theropods:
The Lesser Servant Opera followed her master's orders, taking care of the Great Sagewood and teaching the primitive Theropods many techniques and knowledge.

Thanks to her, they grew a lot as a civilization, and they even lost their cannibalistic ways with the domestication of the Three-Eyed Bovines.

They made a few more discoveries on their own.

The Maoths:
The Maoths discovered the art of metalworking, smelting the abundant ores into more useable metals. They mainly used these to create many tools and crafts. And with the Scariest Crow wounded, they were able to expand.

The Maoths reached the Brumous Lake, and created a new settlement on its shores.

The Catgoo's Return:
A Maoth reincarnated into the Catgoo, and went on a rampage upon its death. Amoak foresaw the rampage and appeared to struck the Catgoo down.
Catgoo: [7]
Amoak: [7]
Catgoo and Amoak have been Wounded

Both equally matched, the two beings ended up wounded. The Catgoo had to retreat, which led it to the Chicken territories.

The Gremnears:
[2] The Gremnear who was sent a vision ended up comitting a crime before setting of to the Tower. Sentenced to death, he would never reach the Tower.

Sabalian, despite being wounded, kept plotting behind Vorius back. Gathering a sizeable following, he assassinated the Gremnear Leader and threw the Tribe into a violent civil war.

Sabalian: [3]
Random Gremnear: [4]
Sabalian has been struck down

Sabalian was killed during the war, and many more Gremnears died. In the aftermath of that carnage, the Gremnear had been reduced to only a very few of the original population. Traumatized by war, the survivors made an oath of peace.

None of them heard of or saw the Tower.

The Drogos:
The Drogos saw the birth of a natural born Hero among their own. Talavars, a great Drogos with great power, was also gifted with a great intellect. Inspired by Talavars, the Drogos benefited from an exceptional growth. The Drogos now cat that brought back the Chest was also hailed as a hero, and the Drogos didn't knew hunger this cycle.

They learnt Metalworking, "tamed" the Bezels and cultivated their honey, and made many more scientific discoveries. Tachyon Everlord was pleased to see the Drogos needed no help.

Then Talavars headed for Ascension's Peak, where Herz waited.

Talavars and Herz:
Herz greeted Talavars into Ascension's Peak last destination, and granted him an audience with the Gods.

The Errthns:
The Errthns kept developing at a leisurely pace. One would wonder what would happen to their values once glass and mirrors would be created...

Chook and the Spirit Chickens:
Chook, now healed, led the Spirit Chickens to the Brumous Lake... where some Maoths had settled. But first, he fought the Catgoo, who had infected several Chickens.
Catgoo: [14]
Chook: [12]
Chook has been wounded

Chook was defeated by the Catgoo, which then infected all Chickens with cattitude. Once they reached the lake, the Spirit Chickens entered a zealous fury, and killed the Maoths who settled there. And despite being wounded, Amoak decided to do his role and confront the wounded Chook...
Amoak: [9]
Chook: [12]
Amoak has been struck down

The wounded Amoak was killed by Chook after a vicious battle. Despair loomed over the pacific Maoths, who had lost their protector.

The Lifetwister and the Maoths:
Saddened and outraged, the Lifetwister decided to become the new guardian of the Maoths. Knowing Chook was too strong, it avoided confronting the Greater Servant directly.

Lifetwister then sent several of its spawns to tell Herz of the tragedy, hoping the Greater Servant would come to his aid.

Razel has Cross return to his realm to rest, any attacks against cross will have to get past Razel first Cross you need to rest for now, but don't worry i will make you a weapon strong enough to crush other servants easily (you can treat this as me using my one plane shift per cycle to move Cross to me)

Annoyed at all this cat business, Manannan creates a Lesser Law affecting Brumous Lake for two Lesser Essences. (someone is supposed to be giving me one!)

Name: The Foggy Beans Law
Class: Lesser
Description: Anyone who inscribes his own name into a magic bean and throws that bean into Brumous Lake shall be healed of his afflictions, especially cat-related afflictions.
Effects:
  - heals cat-infection
  - and also other things
  - but especially cat-infection

Manannan then tells everyone settled near Brumous Lake about this magic power, even the ones who don't know about the other power of magic beans yet.

"I would just like to stipulate that I wasn't in on this silly aspect-of-war business. As you can clearly see from the slab. So uhh, how about some oceans?"

"Now you're just being silly but don't worry I can fix that wouldn't want it to be too easy!"

Lifestealer(bad name!) splits 1 Essence into 3 Lesser Essences.

Foxmox uses 1 Lesser Essence to create a species of plants: Mimic Beans!

Spoiler: Mimic Beans! (click to show/hide)

"I'll spread them all around Torus and nobody will have no idea where to get any real magic beans! Good luck anti-catifying people now!"

"Hold on what do I do with this leftover Lesser Essence... I know!"

Foxmox uses 2 Lesser Essence to uplift the Sharp Foxes! And make them a little more humanoid in form in the process!

"Go forth my minions! Go forth and teach the other races how to have fun!"

Foxmox enters the Mortal Plane and asks the Sharp Foxes to teach the other mortal species about various games! Thousandtails will protect them as they travel around! Also Foxmox patronizes Thousandtails and the Sharp Foxes so he can protect them if things go really badly.

"And I have this leftover Greater Essence... time to make everything a lot more fun!"

Foxmox makes a super awesome and tubular Greater Law affecting Torus using one Greater Essence!

"So guys if you have to fight some other group, just have Thousandtails challenge the other group leader to a dance battle and then follow his lead!"

Oh a guest! Haha! Welcome welcome! I do hope you did not mind the trial friend. I wish the other gods were here to talk personally, Talavars. I congratulate you on your victory and providing for the people of Drogos. What is it you wish to discuss? If you want everyone here I can try to grab the others if they are not bothered by their own creations and struggles.

My lord, I beg your forgiveness but a servant of the lifetwister had also visited from below calling me. They seek my assistance for combating creatures that had hurt the mortal Moaths.

The concerns of the Moaths are only to their creator and guardians. They, the mortals, had no desire from the message of Ascensions Peak you had provided to come here. I have a more pressing discussion with the first one who succeeded the trial. Explain to the servants of the lifetwister that you have a new charge, safeguarding the reward from a prophecy that must not come to pass. I have a guest to give my full attention and my word while the system of magic may be weaved into this planet dirt.

I understand my lord of the position you hold and your honor but your tale of the creation of this world assisted by the outer god Ma'Rook engraved into my very being. Surely a effort that may spare his creation could bring two great beings together and prevent devastation to both sides.

Hmmmm.... You do have a point. Very well, you may travel as long as the undead honey lynx are charged to guard the reward of the people of Drogos. Give them a new metal coating and some very effective tools. Make them.... like you. A skeletal spirit of steel armed with the magic you provide and the martial prowess to some others. As of now though the guest has a request to be addressed and I must hurry weaving a system to the use of mortal hands.

Of course the above will only happen when enough essence is provided to put forth the law. For now entertaining the first guest is important!
