Ma'Rook looked greatly displeased with his fellow god. He appeared in the chief's room as well. Begone Lifestealer, these mortals are under my protection.

"Here we go~"

At the very same time, the Major God Ma'Rook appeared before the Maoth. Adjusting its size to fit the rustic hut, he appeared in his iridescent humanoid form.

Two Major Gods stood before the mortal.

The mortal felt its very being screaming to run and flee. But the innate terror of the Divine froze her in place.

"Hithere wow you're pretty calm for someone who hasn't seen anything like me before but anyways I'm Foxmox aka Lifestealer(but please don't call me that) and I'm going to be borrowing your body for a while! Don't worry I'll give it back after a while and I'll even leave you some cool stuff to make you feel better!"

Lifestealer will... "Hey waitaminute."

"Aw come on I was just gonna have a little bit of fun and fun never hurt nobody! And you're scaring her! And you know I hate that name!"

Wise Chief, child after my own hearts, I implore you not to worry. In my presence, nothing could come to harm you. This demon has come to steal your body and lead my children astray. I shall not allow such a terror to be visited upon you.

Turning to the other god You are out of your depth here Lifestealer, the Moaths are my children, and I will not allow you to torture them for your amusement. I repeat myself for the last time, begone.

Meanwhile Ma'Rook used his servant to prevent the Phantom from interfering with the Maoths.

Seems there will be entertainment after all. Who wants to take bets that this is going to go out of control and make everyone else livid?

Feeling the presence of its Maker, Amoak itself intervened. Using its telepathic powers, it spoke to the chief. The Servant said:

"Fear not, Opodi. He is the one and only Ma'Rook, Bringer of Light, Lord of the Sun and your very maker."

And Opodi the Maoth, who trusted Amoak with her life, believed. Kneeling before the Bringer of Light, she thanked the Major God and prayed to him so that the Demon Foxmox Lifestealer would be chased away...

"Oooh."

"Fun isn't torture and torture isn't fun! I mean seriously... but honestly if you're going to be harsh about it fine, fine. I'll take a different approach. Spoilsport."

"Lo! I, the evil demon Lifestealer, master and conjurer of evil, summoner of evil magics, possessor of peoples, leader astray of nations, the evilest of all evils, evil evil evil blah blah blah blah... am being chased away by this holy light! Aaaaah, it burns! My evil burns in the holy light! My evil is burning away in the holy light! Burning burning burning! EEEEVIL!"

"My evil powers are worthless in this holy light! But my evil shall endure! Aaaargh! Evil evil evil burning away! In the holy light! Aaargh! EVIL!"

"The holy light! It burns my evil away! Aaaaargh it burns! EEEEVIL is burning! I am being banished to the Other Realm! AAAAARGH!" Lifestealer continues writhing in apparent agony before twisting into a tiny blue sphere and imploding, creating a potent(but ultimately harmless wind) for a few seconds. And just like that, Lifestealer was back in the Divine Realm.
~~~
"Well! Is that good enough for you? Now you have the perfect antagonist! I mean, it's not like I was perfectly harmless or anything, I was obviously an evil demon sent to lead her astray! Oh wait. Perfectly harmless(well not perfectly, but you catch my drift), that's me! I mean seriously. Lighten up, man!"
Elmedo raises an eyebrow in interest. It would be wise to record an encounter such as this and hold it in eternal remembrance. Perhaps you'd like to give the Maoth the gift of writing, Ma'Rook?
You do realize that is going to be one really improvised tale.
To improvise is to pull from one's personality and let it flow without restriction. I'm the god of expression, not the god of historians.
Now now; this act is all in good fun, isn't it?
"Well it was a bit fun performing like that but it would have been a lot more fun to walk around as a mortal chief for a bit."
"Well, that was entertaining. The Maoths will definitely remember that! Alsooo, it reminded me of something pretty important. I will tell you more about the "rules" behind divine brawls and anything destruction related."
