Now that Eris and Discordia have become a primordial god, Gasnareth Imrep spends the cycle hiding under the beds of various children throughout the world.

"!!!!!!!!!!" "Truly unexpected. I'm surprised we are that popular among the other gods."

"Oh my! I can't believe this is happening! I'm so happy!" "Ah, so much power... Yes! I feel unstoppable..!" "So these are the primeval powers, huh? I like it!" "Gasnareth Imrep. Kel. And the new goddesses, Seichō-on Kami. You all have my gratitude. While I might need to use most of my power to catch up with the rest, we'll try our best to not use this newfound power just for our own benefit." "That means we're sharing! If anyone needs some Greater Essence, just ask now and we will consider it!"

"Also, please don't edit the book if you're not part of the Chicken Cabal! Unless you want to join, of course!"

"I suppose this means you will consider contributing to the Plan? You two of all people should understand there cannot be Chaos without Order."

"Here you go!" "You're right. But keep in mind that once this crisis is over... As strange as it might sound, there needs to be Chaos for Order to exist." "So if things stay boring for too long and there isn't any other cataclysm incoming, we might decide to... Make it interesting!"
Eris and Discordia give their two Greater Essences to Kel.

Mpaïspama votes for Manannan

"♫Oh hail the mighty, he's arisen from the deeeps♫"

1 GE: Uplift the DLS1 to the macroscopic scale and rename them DLS2. They become hyperactive and incredibly fast and cunning slime molds capable of incredibly good craftslimeship, such as forging blades folded 10,000 times that cut steel like butter. DLS2 slimemolds can combine to form bigger slimemolds and are naturally able to change their shape as wanted since they lack any internal organisation. DLS2 breed rapidly fast and are quite happy with eating anything even vaguely organic. They are instructed to be friendly towards chikku.

1E:Modify the Slitheroos to be be able to combine and add their mind/soul/boy into a greater gestalt being called slitherriles. These are stronger, smarter and bolder than their enslaved lesser forms. Slitheroos are given a yearning to combine and form their gestalt forms. As Slitherriles, they can produce large amounts of slitheroos by coating piles of biomass with sex cells. The emerging larval slitheroos then feed on said biomass. With this yearning, they will begin to seek to reproduce at the expense of other lifeforms.

Païsmama applies a blessing of peace to the Savage Continent. (1E)

Mpaïspama sends 1EE to Manannan. Apparently there's a new horn trimmer or something? Mpaïspama swings by Manannan's place to check it out.

"We are risen."

Having sipped of the Powers (and returned to his realm), Manannan ripples. A quintessence bubbles and twists beneath the surface, growing into a flat silver disc with a raised rim. The waters recede; the disc is exposed, a little of the primordial waters caught in its depression, hardening to emerald ice in moments. A keystone is formed. It takes its rightful place at Manannan's throat.

Name: The Mannamulet Talisman of Water
Description: An icy emerald cabochon set in silver, worn as a pendant on a silver chain. It's hard to look directly at it because reality seems to bend around the surface. Shadows sometimes pass over it when nothing is there. The Talisman is the foundation of all spirit given form, granting its holder power over spirit, which is to say power over water, which is to say power over all things. As the foundation of reality itself, the Talisman and by extension its wielder has the ability to choose what is real and what is not real. The Talisman is mystically linked to the beating heart of Ema. It is also mystically linked in an entirely different way to the Emeralds of the Pure Ones, being the font of their powers, and the Talisman and the Emeralds mutually reinforce each other's power.
Class: Keystone
Powers:
-reality bending
-magic bending
-space bending
-air bending wait no not that one
-naturally protects user from attacks

After conferring with allies, Manannan then begins a new project suggested by another. Within the caldera of a volcanic island which erupts out of Manannan himself, he stirs together two Greater Essences and one Essence, forging an almighty Quintessence. This he allows to sink into the cooling lava, stretching itself into a long rod of obsidian. Another Keystone.

Name: Krobar
Description: A crowbar made of black obsidian shot through with red, fiery veins and extensively carven with volcanic iconography. Like all crowbars, it breaks magic itself. One might even call it a...Voodoo Smasher. Or something.
Class: Keystone
Powers:
 - bonus to destruction rolls on systems, laws, and I guess artefacts? that wasn't part of the plan but I accidentally did a reference and now it just makes sense.
 - mostly useless versus anything else; cannot harm gods. Unless it shanks them in the backs with a sunblade while they're distracted by teeth. Probably that won't happen here.

*sigh*

Create a Legendary theologian, one that can determine the manners in which mortals can make themselves into Heroes and Legends in their own right, of their own power, and who may one day discover the secret to ascension itself.

"I almost forgot something terribly important."

Manannan also directs the Scribe to write an Edict: The Dwarven Lands are to be ceded to the governance of the Servitors, and all dwarves be given free migration and citizenship in the Empire as well. "Dwarves may not be chickens, but they're still pretty okay," say the holy scriptures.

Manannan takes a brief moment to make sure he's patronised all the things he's been making these past couple of turns.

Ema: a Story of Gods
(OOC)

Cycle 16: The New Order

Turn, they turn the gears of the world. Ema is thriving, Ema is witnessing.

------Tachyon Everlord (Rahx) ------

Tachyon Everlord secretly met the Drogos leaders of Darselav as well as the exiled of Erseath in a dream. Though the contents of the exchange were known only to him and the Drogos involved, one could feel change brewing in the minds of the Drogos.

Afterward, the Major God created the Codex of Knowledge, an enchanted tablet holding within inimaginable knowledge (1GE).

Finally, he visited Talavars to reward the Hero for his righteous life, and secretly gave Razel the Matallix Arcana Blades.

------Innanis Dominus------

Innanis Dominus communed with Fyrma, the Starborn Hero. The God let her choose new leaders for Andaeuse, so that she may resume her quest for knowledge. Using all of their Essence, Innanis Dominus would empower the chosen ones.

------Mizunone, Ho no Yōsei and Kazenooto, the Seichō-on Kami------

Ho no Yōsei of the Seichō-on Kami renewed the prophecy of the goddesses, and then returned to the pool to resume work on their great project. Waking up her sisters, they set out to work.

First, they Blessed the First Strata (Local Blessing) with many gifts. Sapphire, Tri-Color, and Ocean Jet for the earth, Beachwood, Rivervine, Lake Pomegranates, Small Flowers, Amber, and Watermoss for the land.

Next, they gave birth to fearsome beings from the earth of Yggdrassil. The Formidable Opposing Enemies, a race of Monsters (1GE).

Finally, they created a Region above the Torus Great Inner Sea, the Cloud Archipelagos (1E).

The Cloud Archipelagos (Region)
Quote
From the Sea and Land, amidst the Sky. Water forms, Wind rises. Above the Torus Great Inner Sea. Clouds form into Islands. Circus and Cumulus form seas ever shifting with the wind. Connected and connecting, the paths and opened Skies, and the Clouds buoyant.

The Islands and Cloudmasses have there own fruits and vegetation, taking water from the clouds and cirrostratus mist, taking root in Cloundy Form.

The Wind swirls as The Cloud Archipelagos remain above this great sea, ever drawing evaporated moisture from around them.

Still undone, Kazenooto of the trio modified the Holy Book of the Pantheon (Free), and spread them in a way that would also reach the small and faraway settlements.

------Kel------

Kel brooded on some obscure plan of his. More power was needed, more Essence.

------Eris and Discordia------

Having become a Primordial Goddess, Eris and Discordia secretly set out to work, making full use of their newfound Primordialhood to create a Keystone: Dysnomia, Herald of Lawlessness.

Then they went to the Drogos, asking to them who would follow them. To her surprise, the Drogos Legends that once favored her had changed their mind after meeting Tachyon Everlord. Refusing her protection, they remained under the mantle of their creator deity. Only a few mortal Drogos heeded the call of the Goddesses of Chaos.

------Mavnon------

Mavnon looked at the microscopic DLS1, who had been living their existences undisturbed for several cycles. Wishing to bring her creations to the front of the scene, she brought them to the macroscopic scale, and renamed them the Demons of the Larger Spheres 2 (DLS2) (1GE).

In the same vein, Mavnon modified the Slitheroos with an Essence, granting them the ability to combine into beings called Slitherriles (1E).

Spoiler: Slitheroos (click to show/hide)

------Manannan Silverhand------

Manannan Silverhand exulted from his ascension to Primordialhood. Now to inaugurate his newfound powers, the Primordial God created a Keystone: the Talisman of Water (1QE).

Then with an Essence gifted to them by Mpaïspmapma, Manannan Silverhand forged a Quintessence from which it carved another Keystone, the Krobar.

With the increasing number of Artifacts with inimaginable power, the Mortal Plane starts to tremble...

Spoiler: The Krobar (Keystone) (click to show/hide)

Manannan Silverhand then orders the Scribe to write an Edict:
Quote
The Dwarven Lands are to be ceded to the governance of the Servitors, and all dwarves be given free migration and citizenship in the Empire as well. "Dwarves may not be chickens, but they're still pretty okay,"

With a freshly forged Keystone in hand, Manannan Silverhand fired a wave of Destruction toward the Protection Thingy.

------Acter Nobody------

Acter Nobody now no longer a Primordial God, created a Legend among the Incilatro (1GE). It granted him talents that would help him uncover the secret of Heroes and Legends, and maybe Ascension itself.

------Razel------

Razel secretly combined 1 Greater Essence from Mpaïspmapma with 1 Greater Essence and 1 Essence from himself into a Quintessence, which he used to remake Cross once more, this time stronger. As per an accord with Tachyon Everlord, Cross was given the Mattalix Arcana Blades for his fight against Nicolai. Furthermore, Razel attempted to imbue Cross Razelwith 1 Greater Essence of power, but had none left.

Nevertheless, the newly reborn Aspect of War was sent to face Nicolai, Aspect of Vengeance.

------Foxmox------

Foxmox secretly teleported Number 6 the Blood King to the Savage Continent, where they attempted to turn them into a Monster.
Manual Labor: [1]

The attempt failed, and the God left a note behind saying:
Quote
"Sorry the Manna guy made me do it or else he and his evil buddies would kill me."

Using all of his power, Foxmox retrieved the Protection Thingy from Nicolai and upgraded it into a Keystone, now named the Interdictor Thingy.

He then attempted to teleport to Razel to test out this new Keystone but before that a sudden blast of Destruction came flying toward his Realm.

Manannan Destruction Rolls (Primordial+Destruction+Keystone): [39] vs 40 (Realm Difficulty Rating)
The Realm completely negated the attack, albeit barely.

Foxmox's trip in the Other Plane:
Where what is and isn't meld and split: [16]
Foxmox went to seek Razel's Realm, in the Other Plane. Despite wandering in an incomprehensible place, it seemed Foxmox was doing decent progress.

There is no sense in being there: [5]
Foxmox lost itself in the Other Plane. The God will not find Razel's Realm today.

------Gasnareth Imrep------

Gasnareth Imrep, from his distant throne, secretly created a Greater Servant with the sole mission of attacking the Holy Empire (1GE).

Then the god reminded the Chickens of disease by cursing them with the Chicken Pox once more. (1E)

Quote from: Chicken Pox (Curse)
A Strange disease which both slowly reduces the intelligence of the infected's descendants towards an animal like level, while also providing a drive for those who are infected to bite and consume those who aren't. This disease is passed on through Saliva and other bodily fluids, as well it is passed on to the descendants of those whom are infected. this disease can be identified from the red oozy sores which appear upon those whom are afflicted's bodies.

------Mpaïspmapma------

Using the Golden Eye, Mpaïspmapma sought the whereabout of Galina, who had eluded the gaze of the Gods for so many Cycles. The being was on a downward journey through the Grand Abyss, living off the richer energies that coursed through the depths of Dirt...

------Prophecies------

Ho no Yōsei (Seichō-on Kami): Many shall hear of Elys, and people of many races, capable of reason, shall travel there.
Price Estimation: 4DC
Gods Involvement: Indirect

CARVER TURN

New actors appear on the world's stage. Those that Ema once ignored, can no longer be ignored.

------CIVILIZATIONS------

------On Dirt------

I- The "Diarusu Jin" and the Torus Continent:

They were of the world, but lived in their own world, alone. They were once called Demons of the Lesser Spheres, they called themselves the Diarusu Jin, and they were knowing a Golden Age of Culture like none other. Even their greatest scientists and prophets could have foretold the catastrophe that would forever change their place in the world.

In a single moment, their great microcities, vaults of knowledge and technologies were gone. Their whole world was gone. And instead was another, completely alien, filled with other sentient people. Their technology no longer worked, and even their bodies had changed. Was it a blessing or a curse?

Since their creation, the DLS had prolifered and spread far across Dirt. The world seemed endless to them, and ever since the latest war of Culture, they knew only peace. There was always enough resources for everyone, and the DLS knew not restraint. So it begun, the rebirth of their civilization...

------The Holy Empire of the Silverhand------

Appearance of the Diarusu Jin
The Chicken Pox Plague
The Chicken Hawk

Great trouble suddenly appeared within the Empire as three simultaneous events occured. Overnight, a violent plague of the long forgotten Chicken Pox struck the entire Continent, and at the same time, everywhere appeared an alien people counting far more individuals than the theocracy. And to make matters worse, a mysterious monster of great power attacked the Holy Empire. Mistaking these occurences for an invasion, the Holy Empire turned on the lost and confused Diarusu Jin. The mega-macrobacteria, despite at first seeing the Chickens as likeable and "moe", were shocked by their violence and retaliated with equal force. Unable to communicate, conflict was inevitable.

For several days, the Holy Empire was in chaos. Only Manus, the Imperial Capital, and other vital cities were protected from damage thanks to Archpriest Smitty and the Pure Ones. Conflict eventually ended when Smitty managed to locate important Diarusu figures and used its powers to communicate with them. Then with the help of the Pure Ones, he spread the message from the important Diarusu to the scattered ones, helping stop most of the conflict.

The Chicken Hawk: [5]
Pure Ones (+Emeralds of Manannan): [13,8]+[11,8]
The Chicken Hawk: [12]
Pure Ones (+Emeralds of Manannan): [9,9]+[9,10]

Pure Ones were also sent to exterminate the Chicken Hawk. Surrounded and outmatched, the Chicken Hawk was quickly reduced to ashes by the Pure Ones.

Chicken Hawk struck down

Attempt at an alliance with the Diarusu Jin:
Sensing the touch of Mavnon in the Diarusu Jin, Smitty offered them refuge until they had gotten used to this new world. The Diarusu Jin accepted the offer, though refused an alliance.

Despite having lost their technology, the Diarusu Jin greatly adapted to the new world. They created great factories and cities in a matter of weeks, and spread at an alarmingly fast speed. Accustomed to using the world's resources without restraint, they quickly razed forests, drilled the earth and expanded, again and again. The speed at which they ate through resources ended up depriving the Holy Empire of much needed resources for its own industrialization.

The Diarusu were very protective of their technologies, and didn't share them with the cute chickens. Now having drained the Holy Empire lands of its resources, they expanded toward unused regions.

Chicken Pox plague and Slitheroo Outbreak:
Archpriest Smitty: [21]
With its vast knowledge and skills, Archpriest Smitty created a vaccine and a cure to the Chicken Pox plague, ending it for good. But in the same period of time, the Slitheroo population growth went out of control. Reproducing at alarming rate, they ate through the used resources of the Holy Empire, and merged into Slitherriles, consumming more and reproducing faster.

A famine is brewing in the Holy Empire which can't sustain its population anymore. Talk of invading Darselav or the Dai Diarusu Teikoku to fight the famine are ongoing.

[The Holy Empire's industrialization is stagnating]
[The Holy Empire's resources have been depleted]

[War is brewing]

Talavars the Witness:
Talavars was visited by Tachyon Everlord in his dreams. The God apologized for not acting sooner, and offered immortality to the Drogos to reward him for his righteous life. Yet surprisingly, Talavars refused. He had grown weary of life, yet was satisfied with the life he lived. Now he wished to finish his days peacefully.

------The Magic Empire of Darselav------

Arrival of the Diarusu Jin
Just like the Holy Empire, the Magic Empire was greatly affected by the sudden appearance of the Demons of the Larger Sphere 2. Though unlike the Holy Empire, the Magic Empire was merciless toward the Diarusu Jin, and never intended to communicate, seeing them as nothing more than alien invaders threatening their homeland.

Holy Empire Armies: [6,2,2]
Drogos Legends: [16, 10]
DLS2: [1]

With the Eradication of the Dark Arts lifted and the newfound trust into Tachyon Everlord, Navursar and the Imperial Sorcerers unveiled the most destructive spells they had ever designed and used them without restraint against the Diarusu Jin before they could group or do any significant damage against the Empire.

Unification of Erseath and Darselav
Honoring a promise with the God of the Drogos, Sagarsus vowed to reunite the Drogos together and amend for his mistakes. His first step toward redemption was to send his armies to help the Drogos of Erseath protect themselves from the DLS2, to great effect. All wariness was gone after seeing the generous hand of the Emperor, and Erseath became part of Darselav.

The unique gems found in Erseath would greatly help Darselav for what was to come.

The Magical Revolution of Darselav
With the help of the Codex, Navursar and the Imperial Sorcerers made several breakthroughs in gem magic, life magic and its applications. They first found a way to bound spells into items, creating magical tools powered with the energy-rich gems of Darselav. Then they found a way to recharge these gems with the vitality of living beings.

And it so happens the DLS2 had a never seen vitality. The few surviving DLS2 were bound and imprisonned within impenetrable facilities where their vitality was harvested to power the spells and tools of Darselav. And thanks to their great reproduction speed, there was never a fear of running out of DLS2 to drain.

The life of the imperial citizens has leapt forward to an unprecedented extent, magic is commonplace thanks to the magic tools, and progress didn't seem to stop with the Codex and the Imperial Sorcerers. They would need this power for what was to come, as the Dai Diarusu Teikoku was growing...

[Darselav is undergoing a great Magical Revolution]
[Darselav can now create Magical Artifacts]
[Life in Darselav is really cozy (except for DLS2)]
[Erseath has become part of Darselav]

------Revival of the Dai Diarusu Teikoku------

It didn't take long for the Diarusu Jin to colonize the remaining lands of the Torus Continent. Their progress was stopped north by the Drogos of Darselav, east by the hostile Savage Continent, and south by the Allied Dexoth Dominions of the Land. Half of the Continent was now their, and they were starting to lack land and resources for their rapid expansion.

To face the dangers of this new world, the Diarusu Jin had unitted under a single banner, that of the Emperor Meiji. Rapid industrialization and studies of this world's resources and laws had helped them recover a portion of their greatness. Already works of Culture were printed once more, to the great joy of Diarusu Jin of all ages.

They also discovered the disturbing truth. This world was not a different world, but the same as they knew. They only lived in its microscopic layers, and for reasons still unknown, had been isekai'ed to the macroscopic scale.

------Dominion of Num'Altha------

The Dominion of Num'Altha, sole country of the Savage Continent, grew unexpectedly well. Using the Mindstone Crown, the Dexoth of Num'Altha tamed the beasts of the Savage Continent. These creatures were used in all aspects of life: food, transportation, farming, and military. The Dominion of Num'Altha was the first country to form an Air Force, thanks to its Gummar'Eptera Riders (Gummar'Eptera being a native species of giant, armored wasps).

[Monstrous Beasts Taming]
[Military: Gummar'Eptera Riders (Air Force, Giant Wasps)]

------Dexoth Dominions of the Land------

The Dominions of the Land barely managed to avoid being invaded by the Diarusu Teikoku. All their resources were put in the defense of their lands, though it also caused them to stagnate once more. They know the situation won't hold forever, and that sooner or later, their lands will fall.

Their small country was stuck between two giants: on land the Diarusu Teikoku, and in the sea the Dominion of Kor'Shugareth. Was there a way to conserve their independance?...

------On Tarrant: the Socks of Loyalty------

Emancipation of the Socks of Loyalty
A surprising edict was made back in the Holy Empire, stating that the Dwarven Lands were to be ceded to the Iron Servitors, and that the Dwarves were free to circulate within the Empire, as well as benefitting from citizenship. This event solved the crisis of the Iron Servitors, at least for now. They merely stopped thinking about it for now, though they were glad to be able to help the Dwarves once more.

Trade of goods and knowledge with the Empire propelled the Socks of Loyalty technology and cultural-wise. Progress and expansion went on undisturbed, with the Dwarves building towns and cities in respect with nature.

------Maaltha'Rumyel-----

Project: The Eye of Maaltha
The construction of the Eye of Maaltha was a much more costly ordeal than first envisioned. The need for the highest grade of Velthoi caused the project to progress slowly, but surely. If nothing catastrophic occured, it was a given the Eye would be finished by next cycle.

Securing Maaltha'Rumyel
Echoes of the happenings on Torus have reached Dexoth ears. The people of the Land are growing stronger, and could possibly pose a threat to the future of Maaltha'Rumyel. As such, another grand project has started: the creation of a great magical ward to prevent the people of the Land from invading the Ocean. In the meantime, the Dexoths are making sure sea travel is impossible by destroying the ships of foolish travelers.

Birth of the Princess of Maaltha'Rumyel
In an unexpected turn of event, Opera became betrothed to Kor'Shugareth. From this unnatural union was born a Dexoth of great power, Diva La Shugareth, a Greater Abomination.

[New Project: The Ward of Maaltha]

------The Moon: Troubles on Magaria-----

Failure of the War Emeralds Project and Consequences:
A disastrous occured as the facility developping the War Emeralds disappeared in a fiery explosion, which took along with it the whole town. The coverage of this event resulted in widespread fear and distrust of weapons of sizeable destructive potential, putting a stop on several military projects of Magaria. The intervention of Julius helped quell the unrest.

The disaster caused many new technologies to be abandonned for what was perceived as more innovative technologies. Hopeful in the future of these technologies by the influence of Julius, the mages and scientists of Magaria are starting from zero with these new theories and technologies, causing a technological setback in Magaria.

The Rogue Iron Servitors:
Some Iron Servitors felt disillusioned with their condition, questioning their nature and purpose in life. They decided to leave through the Gate, wanting to escape from their shackles. They were met by the garrisoned troops of the Baltaval, and, tired of mortals, decided to reject their nature by attacking the troops.

Iron Servitors: [6, 6]
Baltaval Moon Defense Troops: [3, 2]

The Magarian troops were utterly defeated, and the Iron Servitors smashed through the gates of the fortress. They then disappeared in the sea, and didn't resurface in Magaria. They went to live isolated on a faraway island of the Moon.

Varma and Carsilo:
Carsilo sought to understand the secrets between mortals and heroes, legends and ascendants. He often requested the help and opinion of Varma, who was an old Legend. Though with only great mortals created by the hands of the Gods, Carsilo felt something was amiss, and didn't progress much with his research.

His popular philosophical theories and thought experiments led to the birth of a new philosophical movement, though it drained minds from the scientists and mages.

------The Starborn Settlement of Andaeuse-----

With the guidance of Inannis Dominus, Fyrma selected a new leader for Andaeuse. Shortly after, Fyrma disappeared to resume her quest for knowledge. The chosen leader turned out to be an incredibly gifted individual, a visionary and genius whose ideas greatly changed the face of Andaeuse.

Firstly, he reformed the education system of Andaeuse so that Magic studies became mandatory rather than reserved to the elite or the wealthy. Secondly, he standardized the magic of Andaeuse through the new education system and the ban of other magic types. The Andaeuse Magic was named Dicelonic Magic, an extremely rigorous yet understandable form of magic combining words and simple hand motions.

Finally, he managed to instate a new practice that would become a tradition. Once a child entered school, a stone-wand was to be merged into the palm of their dominant hand. With such reforms, the magical potential of the Starborns of Andaeuse went through leaps and bounds, surpassing that of the Magarians who tended to research everything and nothing, in all directions.

The new leader of Andaeuse was known as Alde, the Revolutionary.

------Other Settlements-----

The Hermits of the Crystal World
Cut from the civilized world, time seems to slow differently to the residents of the Crystal World. A peaceful routine, only disturbed by rare encounters with gemling dragons and possibly Kyberos.

The Dexoths of Tranullis
After discovering a rich vein of magic energy, a violent dispute erupted among the Dexoths of Tranullis. All but one survived the brutal onslaught, leaving Tranullis to a single Dexoth. And as it so happened, the Platypus, Tycho and the Catgoo came across that Dexoth...

The Dexoths of Tranullis have all died

Unnamed Faraway Settlements
Copies of the Holy Book of the Pantheon somehow found their way in the hands of people of the minor and distant settlements. A few individuals read about a place named Elys, even fewer individuals dared discover if that land existed. None came back, nor reached the promised land.

------Great Beings, Artifacts and Minor Groups------
