Ema: a Story of Gods
(OOC)

Cycle 14: The Rise of Legends

The departure of the Primordial One left the universe in an unstable state. None were spared by the seeds of discord, be they mortals or divine. Everywhere, gears in motions pushed the world closer to change, heralding a new era.

------Mpaïspmapma------

Mpaïspmapma lamented at the carnage brought by the Yearning Ruin and the Discord. From collected remains of the now Savage Continent, the God brought a Legend to life (1GE). The Legend was then instructed to help Heroes reclaim the Savage Continent.

Manual Labor: [1]

Mpaïspmapma attempted to create something, but her power was spent.

------Tachyon Everlord------

Tachyon Everlord answered the plea of Talavars, assuring him of the respite of souls in the afterlife. He then sent his Servants to protect the innocent from harm, and to discuss the situation with the rulers of the Darselav Empire.

The hand unsteady, Tachyon Everlord used all of its Essence to create an afterlife for the Drogos.

"Eh? You want what? Afterlife? That's it?"

A small star appeared behind the Primordial Sun, always hidden from view for the onlookers of Dirt. Red and dim, it gathered the souls of the Drogos.

------Manannan Silverhand------

Manannan Silverhand summoned the help of the fellow Gods of his Pantheon. Mpaïspmapma and Mavnon answered the call, handing him 1 Essence each. Furthermore the Pantheon solved the retirement of Elmedo by sharing his possessions among themselves. Most notably, the Golden Eye fell into possession of Manannan Silverhand. The rest of his artifacts were put to common use of the Pantheon.

With more power than ever, the liquid God selected a chosen few Spirit Chickens, elevating them to the state of Legends (2GE). The Pure Ones of the Pantheon as they were so called, were then gifted Heroic Artifacts: the Emeralds of Manannan (2E). These Chicken Champions were then given a mission: to rally the Chickens and dominate the lesser races. And most importantly, to purge the infidels from the face of the world. Only the Darselav Empire was to be avoided, for now.

------Mavnon------

Mavnon cursed the skies of the Savage Continent with a Blessing of Mutagens. (1E)

------Mizunone, Ho no Yōsei and Kazenooto, the Seichō-on Kami------

Mizunone[/glow], Ho no Yōsei and Kazenooto woke up in their Realm, much suddenly brought to Ema. After a discussion about the state of affairs, they chose a course of actions. First, they raised the Continent of Elys in the Dexoth Ocean (1GE).

Then they created a primitive but massive form of life. The First Yggdrasil and its First Stratum (2LE). They managed to add in a few simple creatures and plants as well. The trio of Goddesses copied the Law of Determination and implanted it in this location. (1LE)

------Kel------

Kel made doubly sure to tell everyone not to disturb the development of the Dwarves, though if the Gods listened, they didn't say. The God of Dwarves started by blessing them with decreased greed (2LE) in the hopes of curing them from their murderous greed.

Then he incarnated before them, chastizing them of their shameful display. Picking up the most honest Dwarf, he remade them into a Legend (1GE). This Dwarf was ordered to lead his people to prosperity.

Afterward, the God of Dwarves sent instructions to the Servitors. They were to restore the vegetation of the land by transplanting the plants from the Basin to the surface. Then, they were sent to guard the Shrine of the Node.

Manual Labor: [5]

Kel then created a Location close to the settlement of the Dwarves.

Spoiler: Kel's Warehouse? (click to show/hide)

------Foxmox------

Foxmox bound a Greater Law and a Lesser Law to the Savage Continent, the Law of Forms and the Law of Attack Calling. (1GE)

Spoiler: The Law of Forms (click to show/hide)

------Acter Nobody------

Acter Nobody looked at the Dexoths with disappointment. Then maybe to prepare the mortals for their arrival, he blessed Magaria (1E) so that work would overcome talent. Then a Hero of Order and Persuasion, as well as a Legend of Diplomacy and Reason were chosen to ensure peace across the Moon (1GE and 1E).

He then created two mundane entities on Magaria: a clockwork dog, and a tree of silver carrying gold leaves.

------Gasnareth Imrep------

Gasnareth Imrep awoke from a nap, and decided to sprinkle a bit of chaos on Dirt. He created the Law of Belated Doomsday over the Kingdom of Maxin, and then a Monster that was placed in Darselav.

------Manannan Silverhand------

"I will take over from here. Rest, Carver. The Gods Kel and Manannan mixed their Spheres with 1 Lesser Essence."

[2]+1

"A mortal was born from Order and Spirit. A Dwarf with a strong belief in order. In the divine plane though, he would die in seconds if nothing was done."

------Eris and Discordia------

"Discordia acted in the back of all. She creates a Greater Servant in the Renewed Magic Empire of Darselav, with the intent to spread her name and grant power to the ambitious. Just that. It's name is Khthon, the Voice of Discordia (1GE). Then Eris creates an Artifact (Heroic and 1E). A gift to the Sorcerer of Death, how nice."

"Then the twin Goddesses incarnated in the Darselav Empire, manifesting informative pamphlets out of thin air and handing them out to the passing Drogos."

------**/*****/**/*------

"**/*****/**/* created a Divine Artifact (1GE). Then an original blessing of fertility on Torus."

------Razel------

"Welcome back. Please do. What is it you are whispering? Oh.

Razel secretly ordered Cross to attack the House of the Rising Sun and kill all of its inhabitants. He wanted to do something after that, but it won't pass. Gods can't act after the Carver."

------Maex ------

"Shenanigans between Maex and Innanis. A Divine Artifact (1GE) is created by Maex, the Mindstone Crown. To inspire mortals ambitions. Then he showed himself in dreams or visions, you have it, to tell mortals that it was Destiny time."

------Innanis Dominus------

"Having dealt with its shenanigans, Innanis communed with Fyrma and told her to watch out. Dexoths on the way he said, among other tidbits. Then a blessing to the Magarians. One to get into their heads that failing is okay."

[Blessing of Failure Acceptation]

------NPC Gods------

"And finally, Helyx filled the ocean with an Ecosystem. (1GE)"

------Votes------

Quote from: Votes
Unavailable until the 15th Cycle

------Prophecies------[/center]

"The new goddesses wrote on the slab. Speaking of it, change will come to it next turn."

Seichō-on Kami: Many shall hear of Elys, and people of all races, capable of reason, shall travel there.

A city shall spring up around the Northern Yggdrasil, as explorers gain permission to explore the Yggdrasil Labyrinth.

CARVER TURN

"Thank you Carver, you can resume."

Conflict is brewing. Some will fall, some will rise. The many actors take a step on the stage.

------CIVILIZATIONS------

<THE HOLY WAR>

I- The Fall of Aokoa

The Seven Crusaders of Aokoa led the Aokoan armies toward Fachika.
In the Fachika Theocracies appeared the Pure Ones of the Pantheon. They rallied the Theocracies together, eliminating all dissent with a swift hand. Once more united, the new theocracy was named The Holy Empire of the Silver Hand.

The Feathered Justicar of Fachika, the Four Inquisitors of Fachika and the Pure Ones of the Pantheon led the armies of the Holy Empire against the Aokoan armies.

Pure Ones: [10+1, 12+3]
Seven Crusaders: [12, 6]

Wielding the Emeralds of Manannan, the Pure Ones obliterated the armies of Aokoa. Then shouting a warcry in unison, they sent the troops to finish the survivors. The Seven Crusaders stood their ground, fighting valiantly, taking down countless warriors and even managing to wound several Pure Ones before they fell to the Pure Ones themselves.

The battle won, the Holy Empire marched on Aokoa and razed the heretical nation to the ground. That was but the start of the Holy War.

The Aokoa Theocracy has been destroyed in the Holy War
The Seven Crusaders have been struck down.
Several Pure Ones have been wounded.

II- The Fall of Maxin

Next the Holy Empire's armies marched in direction of the Kingdom of Maxin. They were halted by a barrier twisting the flow of time, causing the mortals to pass through it to die or end up gravely wounded due to an uneven inner time flow.

Pure Ones: [11+2, 16+3]

Combining the power of the Emeralds, the healthy Pure Ones created a safe path through the frontier of twisted time. The armies marched toward Maxin.

Maxin was prey to a violent rebellion. The Unkillable Gremnear had risen an army of slaves against the Zixni nobles, challenging the rule of Number 6 the Blood King and its Four Arms. And because of the slowed time, the rebellion was still ongoing when the Holy Empire attacked.

Pure Ones: [13+3]
Four Arms and Blood King: [6, 6, 9]
The Unkillable Gremnear: [8]

The Blood King was insightful and cunning, knowing his armies would not win against the Pure Ones, he manipulated the movements of the rebels in such a way that they would slow down the Holy Empire armies. He escaped for the Bloody Tower while the Four Arms stayed behind to gain some time for their king.

In a matter of days, the Kingdom of Maxin was gone. Slaves, masters, all killed in the name of the Holy War. Number 6 meditated in the Bloody Tower, a very special place for the Zixni. He attempted to call for the help of Gasnareth Imrep, the creator of the Zixni.

The Kingdom of Maxin has been destroyed in the Holy War
The Unkillable Gremnear has been struck down
The Four Arms have been struck down

Because of the different time flow in Maxin, the armies of the Holy Empire had lost a great amount of time, slowing the progress of their conquest.

The Näcke:
The Näcke moved inland, taking advantage of rivers and the occasional downpour. They reached the lands of the Holy Empire, where they generated carnage in the absence of the armies. Several villages and a town was lost to these monsters.

---------

The Dwarven Remnants and Thalal Bekomdák:
Purged from their greed, the Dwarves remembered the important dwarven values. Family, friendship and loyalty. They were ashamed by the terrible actions they commited, and under the guidance of Thalal Bekomdák the community flourished once more.

Using the materials gifted by their God, the Dwarves started rebuilding their civilization. The Iron Servitors frozen by the arctic winter had reactivated and some helped the Dwarves while other went on their new assignment.

While they weren't at the stage of the Dwarven Imperium of yore, they were on their way of becoming a prosperous civilization. This civilization was named the Socks of Loyalty.

Urist the Survivor and Obok the Butcher left the community, heeding the call of adventure.

The Demons of the Lesser Sphere 1:
The end of a popular romcom series ended the war. They are already starting to look for the next war.

The Renewed Magic Empire of Darselav:

Khthon and the Dark Sorcerer
The Dark Sorcerer Navursar welcomed the Nexus Rope, gift of Discordia, and her envoy Khthon. Him and his apprentices gleefully accepted the help of the Greater Servant, who taught them about forbidden Gem Magic and the secrets of life and death. The Servant then kept travelling Darselav, giving power to the many Drogos looking to learn forbidden knowledge.

After Khthon left, Navursar discovered a new type of gems in the hostile Dread Mountains. These regions had a strange relationship with death, and unique, rare gems deeply attuned with life and death magic could be found there.

Herz, Montark and the Imperial Rulers
Herz and Montark, Greater Servants of Tachyon Everlord arrived to the Darselav Empire, causing the sacrifices and cruel experiments to cease at once. The dark practitioners laid low, knowing none could oppose envoys of the gods. Then they went to meet the Emperor and his consort.

Sagarsius attempted to assure the Servants that the evildoers would be dealt with, and that order would be restored to the Empire. But Herz and Montark saw through the Emperor, who was working secretly with Navursar the Dark Sorcerer. He was in fact the patron of the Sorcerer, who was looking for a way to make the Emperor and his Empress truly immortals. The dark arts were already so firmly rooted into the Empire that eliminating them would impact severely the might of the Empire. The majority of the imperial court was in it, as well as nearly all the magic infrastructure of Darselav.

Herz and Montark reported their findings to Tachyon Everlord, waiting for further orders. Meanwhile a heroic and noble Drogos named Ferdelens the Just Scale had been travelling the Empire to protect the innocents.

Ferdelens and the Slug
Ferdelens: [8]
Slug: [2]
Ferdelens: [11]
Slug: [8]
The Just Scale tracked the fearsome monster after hearing of it. He struck the monster down before it could attack a village, earning himself a tale that would become very popular "The Just Scale and the Slug".

The Slug has been struck down

The Dexoth Dominions (Land)
The Eleven Bringers of Revolution rose to topple their Dexoth Masters. Violent civil wars erupted in all the Land Dominions, with the Errthn Heroes facing the Dexoth Kings.

Bringers of Revolution: [5, 4]
Dexoth Kings: [6, 8]

But despite the great power they had gained, as well as their armies of furious slaves, the Revolutionaries were defeated by the powerful and experienced Dexoths and their loyal followers. Order was restored amongst the Land Dominions, but the severe loss of lives due to the civil war greatly weakened the countries.

And worse, Dexoths from the Ocean migrated en masse, challenging the weakened Land Kings.

Land Dexoths: [3, 5]
Ocean Dexoths: [2, 7]

Another war erupted. But for each Ocean Dexoth felled, two more emerged, fleeing from something. One by one the Land Dexoths were defeated and killed, their kingdoms then falling into the hands of Ocean Dexoths, who then themselves had to face other fleeing Dexoths.

The Errthns lamented the loss of their benevolent Kings, cursing the rebellions. In the end only two Dexoth Dominions of yore survived, the others disappearing from constant war between the Dexoths.

All but two Dexoth Dominions of the Land were destroyed

The Dexoth Ocean

Maaltha'Rumyel: the Ambition of Kor'Shugareth
Kor'Shugareth imposed an ultimatum on the Dexoth Dominions of the Ocean: become his subject and help him truly unify the Ocean, or face his wrath. Most choose to bow, while the others fled in terror knowing they stood no chance against the Anathema and his allies.

A titanic palace was built around the Ultimate Node. Far more grand than anything mortals could build, this great castle was to become the capital of Maaltha'Rumyel, as well as the seat of power of the One Lord of the Ocean.

With complete control over the Ocean, Kor'Shugareth and his allies kept growing in power. They then contacted Helyx and Maex, seeking allies among the Gods.

The Dexoth Dominions (Ocean)
The Dexoths who didn't bow fled. Some toward Torus, some toward Tranullis. They abandonned everything behind. Their homes, their riches, and their pride.

The Dexoth Dominions of the Ocean have crumbled

------The Moon------

Magaria:
The Magarians lauded the arrival of a Hero of Order and Persuasion and a Legend of Diplomacy and Reason. Esilo the Hero of Order met with the Sage and the Fool of Magaria to bring them back to the path of Improvement.

Esilo: [9]
Sage and Fool: [10, 6]

Esilo could not convince the Sage, whose knowledge and insight would not be swayed by the sweet words of the Hero. The Fool however, felt compelled by the cause of Esilo and agreed to work with him.

The Eight Serpent Kings of the Sea and the late arrival of Julius:
It is at dawn that the Dexoth appeared before the Magarians, led by the Benevolent Dexoth. These imposing and regal beings left the Magarians in awe, and their message left them even more shocked.

"We who once ruled as Kings on foreign lands, have come to become your Kings. We bring with us gifts of knowledge and prosperity that we will share in exchange for your loyalty."

Varma, the Legend of Diplomacy and Reason, went to confront the Dexoths.

Legend: [14]
Benevolent Dexoth: [15]
Dexoths: [12, 10]

The Legend's words were appeasing and convincing, swaying the charismatic and proud once-Dexoth Kings. Then the Benevolent Dexoth spoke, and his words were stronger than the Legend's. It reached to the heart of all, telling of the future they saw for all, and that they had the power to make it true. All had a place in the hierarchy of a society, and all would find a place with their help. The Dexoths being knowledgeable of ruling, it was only natural for them to properly guide the Magarians who had known troubling times.

The Legend was convinced, and the Dexoths became the new Kings of Magaria. With the knowledge and technology brought by the Dexoths, the kingdom of Magaria saw an explosive, never before seen growth. And with Dexoths refined knowledge of magic, the environment of Magaria was no longer suffering, slowly healing from the abuse of the Magarian magic experiments. Furthermore, the blessing of Innanis Dominus made the spread of tolerance much more natural.

Julius arrived some time after, having recovered from his visions. His great power was welcomed by the Magarians, and he supported them in their endeavors. However, he never took a ruling role, feeling the Dexoths were doing a better job than he would.

[A lot has changed in the Magarian Democracy, which is now the Magarian Kingdom]

------Adventures of Great Beings and Minor Groups------

Cross, Nikolai, Thousandtails and the House of the Rising Sun:
Cross the Aspect of War suddenly attacked the House of the Rising Sun while Nicolai and Thousandtails were on land.

House: [13]
Cross: [22+3]

House: [6]
Cross: [16+1]

The House of the Rising Sun couldn't resist the power of Cross, which pulled them both to Razel's Realm. While the Sharp Foxes were protected from the Divine Plane's influence by the House, it didn't last long. Completely outmatched by the Aspect, the House was swiftly destroyed, including all its inhabitants.

The House of the Rising Sun and its Sharp Foxes has been struck down

The outraged Nicolai and Thousandtail called their God for help, knowing they couldn't match the Aspect of War.

Eris and Discordia's Ad Campaign:
Eris and Discordia visited Darselav, distributing pamphlets. The Servants had been noticed beforehand, so the surprise was minimal. The pamphlets were taken, naturally. Who would refuse a pamphlet from a divine being? Not a sane mind for sure. The awareness about these twin goddesses grew a bit, though Khthon was much more effective than the Goddesses themselves..

The Mindstone Crown:
Many mortals saw the vision sent by Maex, and many answered. From Dexoths fleeing the Ocean and seeing there an opportunity to gain power, to Aokoans Maoths fleeing the purge and hoping to take revenge, to Drogos in search of power. The Crown incidentally appeared in the Savage Continent, leading to many a fool to head there for a quest of power.

Dexoths: [8]
Maoths: [5]
Drogos: [4]

Stronger and more attuned to power flux, it is only natural that a Dexoth would be the first to reach the Crown. This cunning Dexoth donned the Crown, and waited for those who heard the call. They would be his new subjects, having proved themselves by reaching the Crown.

A new country is forming, the Dominion of Num'Altha.

Dvenu:
Dvenu left to gather Heroes and mortals to conquer the Savage Continent. He managed to find unnamed heroes waiting to inscribe their names in history, and led them to conquer the Savage Continent. Under his guidance, these heroes reclaimed the lost settlements of the Savage Continent, small towns and village that belonged to disappeared civilizations.

He oversaw the rebuilding of these settlements, and instructed a new belief in his followers.

A new country is forming, the country of Sval.

Julius' Quest:
Julius saw great troubles brewing on Dirt, and communed with his creator to ask about what to do. War was brewing on Dirt, yet it was no part of the Cataclysm.

Talavars:
Talavars thanked Tachyon Everlord and returned to Darselav. He saw the actions of the Greater Servants, but still remained worried.

Galina:
Where is Galina?

Tycho, the Platypus and the Catgoo:
The trio of friends are adventuring in Tranullis, playing with the local wildlife.

The Yearning Ruin:
The Ruin headed for the Savage Empire, attracted by the signature of Mpaïspmapma. Devouring everything in its path, it then finally found the being full of Mpaïspmapma presence: Dvenu.

Dvenu: [10]
Yearning Ruin: [15]

The Ruin gravely wounded the Legend, who fled to avoid death. The Ruin promptly devoured the growing civilization, inhabitants, heroes and houses, eliminating all hopes of recovery.

Sval has crumbled hah
Dvenu has been wounded

The Iron Servitors
The Iron Servitors spread the plants of the Basin to Tarrant with great effect, replenishing the nature of Tarrant.

Adventurers of the Unknown:
-Migrants and Exiles:
Due to the various tensions of Dirt, many groups left their homes for varying reasons. Some survived, other did not. And a few founded new homes in completely foreign lands, outside of Torus.

New settlements in faraway lands

-Drogos Gem Mages and Explorers:
All had seen the Crystal World appear, but few dared to head toward this faraway place. Of the few fools who did, only a handful arrived at destination. These Drogos discovered a place overwhelmed by Gem magic, and saw their power increase at an exponential rate.

Minor Settlement: Hermits of the Crystal World

-Dexoths of Tranullis:
The Dexoths of Tranullis attempted to rebuild their homes, but with their broken spirits, they only managed to build a mere fragment of what they once had.

Minor Settlement: Dexoths of Tranullis

And thus I responded to Number 6 by sending forth a disaster of truly horrific proportions upon those who would slay all in their path...
An entire unit of essence was used, centered upon the Holy Empire's armies, I tore all heat from a continental sized area, scattering it all to the edges, cooling it instantly... Water froze and it kept on going... The plants died and it kept upon cooling... the air changed from gas to liquid, yet still it froze on... in the end several seconds later the center was frozen solid from the earth to the air, And for each forth past there it only restored one stage back... at the edge, where all the heat was torn away to the exact opposite happened, everything started burning...

"There are many ways of immortality for these two if they so desired that does not involve the waste of life, but these forbidden arts surfacing in great numbers is counter productive. Perhaps a head hunt is in order. I shall gather them. The ones who began this trend the 'dark sorcerer', and any other powerful individuals who are touched with the idea of these so called 'dark arts'. If they wont listen to you they will listen to me. As for Khthon, I want it isolated and bound ready to talk, beware of its voice and ready a pickaxe should it be too bothersome."

Tachyon ponders on what to do with his essence before the meeting. Taking notice of the new group setting up on a land of gems, Tachyon grants them a blessing of prosperity and to purge themselves of the seeds of discord through this blessing over the generations. He then uses essence to form a creature to ensure an endless supply of gems and guard them from misuse; Kyberos

Spoiler: Kyberos (click to show/hide)

Tachyon places Kyberos in the 'gem forest' near the new Drogos village to its thing and follow its instinct, until it becomes sentient on its own.

Julius, while protecting the mortals from the Cataclysm was your first purpose, you are not to be constrained by it. Just because a brewing disaster is not related to the Cataclysm itself does not mean that it should not be addressed.

Apologies, Ema, for not actually saying what my hero and legend are like. To a large degree, it is simply that they should be Incilatro or Starborn of great cognitive and persuasive ability. I do not wish to set those mortal heroes I impart my gifts to so far apart from the rest of those around them that they can no longer be part of normal society. It doesn't matter much what they look like or what their personality is, so long as they are loyal to the missions and ideals I set - in truth, not just in words.

Despite the ongoing wave of monstrous rampages (and interdiction on prophecies), Mpaïspama tries issuing a new prophecy because that is a thing major gods can do twice and it would be a waste not to do so:

"Earth above and dirt below
House the sage and house the knave.
Carver, turn, that new suns glow!
Crone, arise, the world to save!
Sing for Chaos, Undertow,
That earth provides in deepest cave,
That clouds will clear, that sun will show
The handiwork the roosters gave:
The first of equals brought down low.
Rejoice! For fortune fears the brave!

well this is problematic, guess I will bless my mortals
Razel places a blessing on the whole gremnear race, the blessing changes them physical by enhancing their regeneration futher and causing them to mutant, evolve, and adapte rapidly to their environment and steal the abilities of those they eat. 1GE

Second Step- Otherwise know as Mortal Hubris. Also, Petitions and System building.

And they arrive back at the Pavilion.

"Mizunone? What are you doing back?"

as Kazenooto runs to Mizunone.

"It seems that they destroyed my destination, so I got turned around.. Heard a bit from those gods in some weird place too. They are not cooperative in the least."

"Ah.. They're not really nice to each other, are they.."

"Indeed. I suppose your side of things went better."

"Somewhat. Hua.. And here we were set to get started, this will push us back a bit."

"So, might as well get to the next step. We can check on the rest together, and decide what to do then."

"Well, there was talk of some election for something called Quintessence. We can always see if they are willing to let us use it. For now though.."

She pats Kazenooto on the head.

"Let's finish the first strata of our Yggdrasil."

And so,they began the work-

And so, 1 Greater Essence is Spent- Rise, Monsters of the First Stratum. Serve as the stepping stones to the top of Yggdrasil.

Species Name: Yggdrasillian Defense Protocols.
 Sub-speices: First Strata Entry Layer.
Description: A selection of natural defenses to Yggdrasil. While they do in fact follow natural law, they tend to vary in their racial profiles, and often are quite a bit stronger than an average creature.
This is a First Strata Creature Creation. And an Entry Layer at that. Average humans may be capable of taking them down, if they are careful not to get killed.
Traits: Respawn{Law}, locked to Yggdrasillian floors, Item Creation Materials, Natural Biological Order.

Monster Species: Flutterfly
Description: A blue butterfly that saps nectar from flowers, it's wingspan is the size of an adult male's spread hands. It attacks with it's sharp beak, and hardens it's wings in combat to deal slashing damage. It can also use dust from it's scales to blind a single target. They commonly reside in groups, and avoids it's deadlier cousin unless provoked by an Adventurer.
Weaknesses: Pierce, Volt.
Resistances: Blind, Poison.
Found on the First 4 Floors of the First Stratum, Beech Grove.

Monster Species: Tree Rat
Description: A Purple furred rat that buries itself underground and beneath trees. It prefers to eat fruit and tree leaves. It's razor sharp fang is capable of piercing light armor, but on it's own, is a minimal threat to experienced adventurers.
Weaknesses: Cut, Fire
Resistances: None.
Found on the First 2 Floors of the First Stratum, Beech Grove.

Monster Species: Blueshell Crab
Description: A Blue Shelled turtle-like crab, with the capability of crushing arms in it's grasp, it is covered by a hard shell, and stiff spikes along it's carapace. It has also been noted to increase the physical toughness of it's allies nearby, along with itself, and holds the strange ability to draw attacks towards itself. It lives along water sources, and is quite rare on lower floors. Still, if you happen to have no magical support, it may be wise to leave it behind, for it rarely chases it's prey once it gets away.
Weaknesses: Fire, Ice, Volt, Poison.
Resistances: Slash, Pierce, Bash.
Found on the All 5 Floors of the First Stratum, Beech Grove.

Monster Species: Ice Burrowing Mole
Description: A blue skinned Mole with a white belly and black eyes, it has the habit of freezing it's claws and then sharpening them on rocks nearby. Nocturnal, this creature is the secondary killer of most adventurers in the Beech Grove. It's claws cut through most leather with ease, and it can send a blast of Icy natural Magic to freeze weaker adventurers solid. During the day, it sleeps beneath the ground in Hollows it creates.
Weaknesses: Poison, Petrify.
Resistances: Volt, Death.
Null Effect: Ice
Found on the 3rd to 5th Floors of the First Stratum, Beech Grove. Rarely found on the 2nd Floor.

Monster Species: Posionfly
Description: A purple winged butterfly, it has all the traits of it's friendlier cousin. It is however, ever so slightly tougher, and it's dust poisons the target. The third most common killer of newbie adventurers, not due to deaths through battle, but because not all adventurers decide to carry Antidotes before they run into a swarm of them.
Weaknesses: Pierce, Volt.
Resistances: Poison.
Found on the 3rd through 5th Floors of the First Stratum, Beech Grove. Rarely found on the Second Floor

Monster Species: Demon Rabbit
Description: A cute, fluffy white and blue accented bunny. So cute!
Unfortunately, this is the foremost killer of Novice and even slightly experienced adventurers. Hardy, fairly good speed and physical power, and capable of a single or party-wide natural ice magic known as Snowstorm. This Bunny will often kill adventurers with them wondering why. A very good example of being careful in the labyrinth, and always carrying an Ariadne Thread.
Weaknesses: Fire.
Resistances: Ice.
Found on the 3rd through 5th Floors of the First Stratum, Beech Grove. Also found on floor 2 signally.

Moster Species: Pyreyana
Description: A Red or Purple colored fish with sharp fangs, it likes to travel in packs, and leap about out of the water. Purple ones are leaders, and capable of coordinating a frenzy of every fish in range.
Of course, it's main weakness is the red ones don't have much HP, and any adventurer party that knows what they're doing can take them out piece by piece. As well, they have a number of weaknesses, and do not play well with other monsters. Magic is particularly useful.
Weaknesses: Fire, Ice, Volt.
Resistances: Slash.
Found on the 5th floor, the Last Floor of Beech Grove. Red ones rarely found in smaller groups on the forth floor.

"Right, that's almost done. Two more sections to go."

"uh, it's actually three."

"Yeah, guess so, we still need the salvage spots, which would be.. Ecosystem I think."

"Hai,"

1 Essence spent for a new law-

Name: Law of the Northern Yggdrasil(Total)
Class: Greater Law
Description: All Yggdrasillian Defense Protocols are under order not to leave their Yggdrasil. In addition, they cannot travel between strata, and must, unless a Higher Strata Protocol travels down for some reason, remain on their assigned floor permissions.
All Yggdrasillian Defense Protocols may revive after a set period of time, to reach a threshold number for ease of access to adventurers. That number will not overflow. FOEs of their Strata revive after 7 days have passed. Guardians of their Strata revive after 30 days have passed.
Effects: Yggdrasillian Defense Protocols are unable to leave their assigned floors, and must follow this law. This will be countermanded if, and only if, a disruption of a Higher Strata Defense Protocol disrupts the System.
Yggdrasillian Defense Protocols will revive to keep numbers up if overhunted after 1 day of their first death that dropped below this number.
In addition, FOEs revive after 7 days, and are reset to their patterns of movement and number, which is commonly 1.
Guardians revive after 30 days, and their number is commonly set to 1, unless stated otherwise.

"Set creations with Patron Protection. There."

"Done for now.."

"Haaa..i."

"For now, why don't you two rest. I'll deal with interaction."

"mm"
"Very well. Wake us when it's time for the next cycle.

Mizunone and Kazenooto have retired for the cycle.

Hi no Yōsei steps up to the water pool.

"So, do I just yell or.."

...

Well, might as well find that strange place and.. I would guess I can talk to someone as long as I'm careful.

Hi no Yōsei steps flies in to the water pool.

Place between Worlds, Realms, and Planes.

"ehem.. Aaa, iiI Eee.. ooOhohOoo-~oo aaah~ "

"So, to anyone listening, mind seeing about letting us have some Quintessence, we could really use some of it.
And, vote for the Seichō-on Kami, I guess.. We're a bit new to this universe."

She waits a bit.

She looks down on Elys, to see if anyone is there.

"... Why are there so many gods down there?"

Since nobody else seems to care, I guess I'll answer your questions. You are the fire one, right? May I ask you exactly what you plan on doing with a Quintessence and a horde of Monsters?

I still want the D. The D is love, the D is life. The D is bully.
Rewind, can't keep going
My mind keeps replaying

But now I'm sinking

Tell Fyrma that she needs to lead as many of the starborn that she can in a exodus from magaria so that they can grow as a race without the interference of the Dextroths.

Use my greater essence to empower her as a legend, then use my regular essence to give her an aura of protection so that magical danger is repelled from her and those near her.

I figure at some point, you're just gonna run outta fucks to give and just off yourself whenever you get hurt at all. It's not like there's any downsides to it. Hangover? Suicide will fix that. Stubbed your toe? Suicide. Headache? Suicide. Papercut? Suicide.

"Ah. We are looking to stop a Cataclysm. And to do so, we need to raise Heroes who can fight this Cataclysm."

"It's long term though.. Without a steady supply, it takes 4 cycles to complete each Strata. And we need 7 Yggdrasil to complete the plan. The Yggdrasil absorbs poisons and generates clean air in it's place."

"That's the Reason for those laws. So Adventurers have a way to grow far beyond human limits. The First Strata of a Yggdrasil contains fairly weak Monsters, with their power growing as Adventurers climb higher."

"It's to the creation of Heroes, unique replicatable gear, and Purification. In doing so, Heroes can be born from these Parties of Adventurers, and equipped with gear they themselves have helped make, in a small way."

"We created Elys for that single purpose, to serve as the land of Yggdrasil, for heroes to gather, and for a Land that wasn't the plaything of Gods."

"Does that answer your question? And yeah, I do represent Fire, in a way.."
