It seems This Entity absence for a turn led to a civilization downfall, don’t worry it will be rightly apprehended”

X’arilyg, utilizes a Greater Essence and creates a Legend in the Magic Empire of Darsalev, of Adroit, a Theropod Alpha who is imbued with arcane forces able to access all forms of magic and has the power of might over its side, the motives of Adriot is to become the Omega of Darsalev or become the emperor of the empire and will challenge the throne if necessary to achieve his goals

X’arilyg creates another artifact, a stone eyeball portal that can create more portals across the continent or even other planets, the Pupil Portal Emplacement, placing it on the Anchor

Ema: a Story of Gods
(OOC)

Cycle 10:

An unusual Event initiated the Tenth Cycle.

From beyond the boundaries of Ema, a shard of non-existence came forth crashing on the Slab of Destiny. Dissolving into words, a True Prophecy was born.

[I am free.
May this prophecy be my herald. To the one who witnessed the Merging of Tes.
I am coming.]

------Mpaïspmapma------

Mpaïspmapma named the Bone Ficus 'Bad bad do not eat' and patronized it. The God then proceeded to throw itself on the Slab of Prophecies, specifically targeting the newest prophecy.

Nothing happened, and Mpaïspmapma was left with disappointment. As such, the God created a Heroic Artifact which he flung to the Werechickens.

------Mavnon------

Mavnon named the Hamster Monster Tycho, and secretly used 1 Essence to alter Tycho.

Spoiler: Tycho (Monster) (click to show/hide)

------Innanis Dominus------

Innanis Dominus created a species of Creatures, the Starborn, which were then placed on the surface of the Moon it was part of. Using some of the power gifted to him by Eris and Discordia, he then uplifted them.

Spoiler: The Starborn (click to show/hide)

------Elmedo------

Elmedo mused over the happenings of the past Cycle, and blessed the Werechickos with, in his words:
Quote
philosophy and higher thought, making sure their intelligence, wisdom, and understanding of the world are as good as he can make them

------Gasnareth Imrep------

Gasnareth Imrep headed for the Dexoth Ocean, inside which it created a small sand desert island (Location). Then filling the surrounding waters with life, it started building a sandcastle with its own hands.

[6] Gasnareth Imrep created a majestic castle of sand on the island, which made up a big part of the island.

Spoiler: Bloodkelp (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Palm Tree (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Meatweed (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Penguins (click to show/hide)

Then using power gifted to him by Razel, the Minor God created several Magic Artifacts, which he intended to scatter on book stands across the world. But books didn't exist yet in this world, as writing was still done on scrolls and tablets. As such, he just scattered them randomly across civilizations.

Then he created a Lesser Servant, which was left on its own in the Dread Mountains.

Spoiler: The Etherium Maxi (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: The Handyman (click to show/hide)

------Acter Nobody------

Acter Nobody incarnated in the Mortal Plane, infusing into himself a Greater Essence. It appeared before Nakyr, in the Iris Moonsoon Forest, where the Primordial God brought its Realm.

Acter: [41]
Nakyr: [12]
Nakyr has been struck down
And thus, Mavnon prophecy came to pass
Mavnon earned a little bit of standing

Before the Greater Abomination could react, it had been removed from existence. Having been transported from the Divine Plane, Acter Nobody's Realm became firmly rooted in the Mortal Plane, at the Iris Moonsoon Forest.

The Primordial God then used its powers to shape the celestial Moon, cover it with a sea and raising a main island surrounded by an archipelago of smaller islands.

[5]+1 The Starborns were then moved to the main island.

Acter Nobody then created an Ecosystem on that Moon, in his own words:
Quote
The islands will flourish with colorful flowers and tall, thin, flexible trees whose air-bubble-laden leaves buoy them in the sky, and whose sweet-smelling fruit are good to eat, for those that can reach. Sparkling silver-scaled flying fish swim through the sea, feeding on bushes of nutrient-laden berries that float across the surface, as well as small crawfish that crawl along the seafloor, while being stalked by sand-colored, relatively flat sharks. Coconut-like seeds drift atop the waters, sprouting into bamboo-like stalks that are great vessels for Vis. Birdmen travel the branches in search of insects and fruits to feed upon, while avoiding camouflaged serpents waiting to strike at them. Potentially-tameable Dog-like amphibians search land and sea for crabs to eat. Cow-patterned manatees graze seaweed, moving slowly from aquatic pasture to aquatic pasture. Clouds of reedy flotsam drift across the horizon, home to vast colonies of assorted fowl. Ferns and grasses dot the ground, making fertile grazing grounds for pigs and goats.
Then, finally, breaking up his last Essence into two Lesser Essences, Acter uplifts the birdmen, naming them the Incilatro, and granting them intrinsic knowledge of basic magic - albeit one open for them to interpret their own system of arcanery - as well as the basics of tool-making and agriculture. He also makes them intrinsically curious, and diplomatically-inclined. They and the Starborn will grow up alongside each other, siblings in sentience on this tabula rasa of a living space.

"Aaaah formatting please!"
The Moon was made bountiful so that its future Mortals would live needless lives. It was the first step toward the Eden the Primordial God envisioned.

Spoiler: Incilatro (click to show/hide)

------Razel------

Razel sent a message to the Gods, offering his services. None answered, and Razel secretly sent a vision to the Gremnear leader.

Quote
their military is to weak and shows him/her the war between the chickens and Maoths and other fights they have had, and sends them a message i'm your creator Razel, I know you hate war but that is no reason to neglect a military among these warmongers, if you hate it then become peacekeepers to break up these wars and keep them in check

------Eris and Discordia------

Eris and Discordia used their powers to Bless the Werechickens with the revolutionary spirit of the deceased Chook.

[6] The twin Goddess created a pair of Marble Temples with statues of themselves in the Iris Moonsoon Forest.

------Kel------

Kel created an army of Servants, the Iron Servitors, to whom he gave orders. To teach to the Dwarves the Tarratan Magic System, and nurture them. He also gifted Mundane Artifacts to the Servants.

Finally, the Minor God attempted to create a Lesser Law affecting two locations. One on Dirt, and one on the Moon.

[1] Kel failed to create a Law, but nonetheless built a Location at the very center of Tarrant. Calling it the Shrine of the Node, it was a complex of temples and magical laboratories.

Quote
Magic is seen as building blocks, where specific wand motions are putting them together in certain ways. When you wave the wand, you construct the spell block by block. The greatest mages are often those who take the time to experiment with their magic methods. Magical spells are copied down via runes, where each movement of the wand has a meaning and it’s own rune.

Wands are 30-150 cm long, 2-5 cm wide (although they tend to the smaller end) wooden rods with metal endcaps. Preferred materials are oak and korribirch for the core, iron or copper for the endcaps. More enterprising wandsmiths use more exotic materials for the wand such as towercap, nethercap, glumprong, gold, silver, tin, or aluminum, and some even coat the entire surface in metal, using a gem for the caps. In general, better cores increase power and better caps increase precision.

Alchemy and artifice/enchanting are very similar to each other in this system. They are all done with the Crucible, a wand metal-lined shallow tub about 1-metre square, placed on a pedestal so as to be at waist height. Runes are inscribed along its outer sides, instructing on its use.
For alchemy, the items to be replaced is put in the Crucible. Then, the tub is filled with a boiling liquid - typically water - to assist in releasing the Essentia. A long wand is used to stir the mixture, putting the blocks together. The unused Essentia is dissolved into the water, which can be reused to save on materials. The Crucible is then drained and the transmuted item(s) are removed.
Artifice/enchanting is almost exactly the same, except water is not used. Instead, the Vis and Essentia themselves are shaped and told to become one with the object worked on.

------Ma'Rook ------

Ma'Rook finally spoke after several Cycles of secrecy. He imparted two Blessings upon Dirt, and one Lesser Law.

First was a Blessing for the Dexoths, which would grant them a better understanding of science and magic.
Second was a Blessing for the Werechickens, turning them into humanoid chickens.

------**/*****/**/*------

**/*****/**/* created a Heroic Artifact, and a location far from all Mortals called the Lair.

Spoiler: The Sapphire Eye (click to show/hide)

------Lifestealer now called Foxmox------

Foxmox created a Greater Law affecting the Continent of Torus, the Law of Awesome Colors.

To celebrate its new Law, the Major God then made paint rain over all Torus.

------Manannan Silverhand------

Manannan Silverhand, in his word, awoke from a weird state induced by excessive contact with Other Ones. The God created a Law over Helyx's Lake, and a Sea of Ink in close proximity of the Dexoth Ocean.

Spoiler: The Pure Law (click to show/hide)

[Sea of Ink (Region)]

------X'arilyg------

X'arilyg saw that the Kuskorite Empire had fallen, but didn't mourn. Instead, he used most of his power to create a Legend from a Theropod slave, as all Alphas were executed following the war.

Spoiler: Adriot (Legend) (click to show/hide)

X'arilyg then created a Heroic Artifact, which he placed somewhere on the Anchor.

------Non-Player Gods------

Helyx saw the Pure Law, and was greatly pleased. Apologizing to Manannan Silverhand for being angered at God prior defilement of the Lake, he said.

CARVER TURN

The pen heavy, the mind sleepy. Ema dreamt slowly.

------On the Torus Continent------

The Paint Rain:
A great paint rain fell on the Torus Continent, leading to all sort of oddities sprouting. Until the paint was washed away, suffice to say the days were pretty eventful.

The Saga of Adriot:
Enslaved, weak and bound. Since the fall of the Kuskorite Empire, the surviving Theropods have been living miserable and shameful lives. Often would the slaves reminisce the stories of the great Kuskorite Empire, and of its fall due to betrayal.

Then the Eyed one saw, and descended onto a Theropod. Gifting him powers beyond mortal understanding, he then left, knowing the Theropod known as Adriot would fulfill his mission well.

As a slave, Adriot had no rights, and was seen as lower than animals. At first, it tried escaping its condition by manipulating its masters, to no avail. As such, Adriot took the shortest path to his goal.

Adriot: [13]
Talavars: [9]
Talavars has been wounded

Adriot broke his chains and killed his masters. Then it walked toward the Imperial Capital, killing all those who stood in his path. None could stop the Legend, not even the Hero Talavars who narrowly avoided death.

Taking the head of the Mage Emperor of Darselav, Adriot announced the birth of his new Empire. And all that would resist his view would suffer the consequences.

Adriot has become the Emperor of the Darselav Empire

Under Adriot's reign, the Darselav Empire decayed compared to its peak. The Caste system was reestablished, and unrest was rampant.

The Iris Moonsoon Forest and the Gods:
Several very divine events occured in the Iris Moonsoon Forest. First, a great city appeared out of nowhere: that was the Realm of Acter Nobody. Then Mpaïspmapma went on a dancing spree, fascinating the mortals with her furious dancing skills.

The birth of the Alliance of the Two Wings:
Several Gods granted blessings to the Werechickens of Werchiko, changing them greatly. Now humanoid, burning with revolutionary passion, more intelligent and insightful, they had become a whole new species. These events further pushed into them the belief that they were the Chosen People.

The new Werchikote King called upon the help of their old allies: the Maoths of Oamoak. Specifically they asked for the help of Uatha the Wise, who had the greatest mastery of medicine of all inhabitants of combined Werchiko and Oamoak.

Uatha: [11]

With the knowledge of Uatha and the combined efforts of both countries, the Cornfield was purged from corruption. Or rather, its corruption was harnessed, and reversed. From the poisoned plants they created poisons and remedies unlike anything ever seen. As a consequence, the nations of Werchiko and Oamoak entered an official Alliance, forming the Alliance of the Two Wings. Two wings to symbolize that together, the two countries would fly toward greater heights.

The Alliance knew prosperous times, yet started preparing for an eventual war after learning of the state of the Darselav Empire...

Magic in the Alliance:
Only one Etherium Maxus(?) appeared in Alliance territory. And as Fate would have it, the Maoth Demigod Buroa found the strange artifact.
Buroa: [10]
Etherium Maxi: [4]

Stronger in mind than many, Buroa overpowered the influence of the book, purging it. Buroa later led magical research in the Alliance, in an attempt to harness the magic of the Drogos.

Malna and the Vision:
A vision struck the Chief of Malna. A vision of horrors, of violence, a vision of war. After receiving this vision sent by the creator of the Gremnear, the Malnan officials gathered to discuss of this situation.

While they believed in the vision, the Malnans were still too averse to violence and peaceful to justify arming themselves. On the contrary, this vision made them terrified of the foreign people, and they started advocating isolationism.

A group of diplomats/explorers left Malna with the mission of learning of the other civilizations, and report back to Malna to determine whether or not the small nation should attempt contact with them.

The Errthns and the Refugees:
The Errthn Community saw a great influx of Drogos and Three-Eyed Bovines refugees coming from the Darselav lands. Sheltering them in their vast territories, they worried about the new Darselav Empire.

The Drogos refugees taught the Errthns the magic dormant in the gems, leading the Errthn Community to greatly develop. The growing nation was renamed the Country of Thneomi.

The purposeless Handyman wandered for a long time, until it eventually settled in a Thneomian village. The Lesser Servant lived a modest life, seeking purpose.

The Dwarves and the Iron Servitors:
The Iron Servitors suddenly appeared to the Dwarves, guiding their steps and teaching them the Tarratan Magic System. The Dwarves saw the fastest development of any Mortal people ever known, and were the only people not to develop any form of agriculture.

They lived nomadic lives, and relied on magic to just grow food when they needed it. Advanced in many crafting arts and magic, they were very primitive in other areas, never finding the need to develop them.

The Demons of the Lesser Sphere 1:
Some colonies of Demons of the Lesser Sphere were touched by the corruption of Nakyr, leading to these colonies gaining great power. Violent wars that led to trillions of deaths appeared everywhere...

But no one should care because they are bacteria.

------The Dexoth Ocean------

The Dexoths:
Blessed with new gifts, the Dexoths "civilizations" developed extraordinarily. With the knowledge of the various magic systems, the Dexoths abused of it and each individual created its own kingdom in the depths.

Some Dexoths grew bored of the dark abyss, and went to explore the surface. This place was interesting in its own right, and the Dexoth who lived there also formed their own "kingdoms".

Fortunately for the other people, they didn't meet any Mortal yet.

------The Moon------
The Starborn and the Incilatro:
Born in a garden of Eden, these Mortals knew no strife nor need. The Starborn, having barely any need, were a passive and contemplative people. They didn't do much with their time, living leisurely.
The Incilatro were a little different. While the lands were bountiful, they were a bit more active than the Starborn, creating many games to entertain their peaceful lives. There were a few incidents with snakes at the start, but they quickly found a way to use magic to see through their camouflage and permanently chase them away.

------Adventures of Great Beings------

Reefwalker:
Reefwalker: [13]
Reefwalker kept spreading coral on the ocean's floor, only being sometime disturbed by some foolish Dexoths. All of those who attacked him knew a premature end, and became covered with coral.

Herz and Talavars:
The wounded Talavars climbed Ascension's Peak once more, this time with a request. He begged Herz to call for the Gods to save the Darselav Empire from the clutches of Adriot.

Nicolai and Thousandtails:
The two Greater Servants arrived in Alliance Territory once more. They taught games and such to the Mortals, and resumed their journey. They decided to return to Foxmox Realm, this time bringing some more Mortals to play with.

Hamster:
The Hamster monster was attracted to the Iris Moonsoon Forest, where it started stealing food and shiny items.

Lifetwister:
The Lifetwister had recovered, and was now living in a very special palace. Known as the Birther of all Shaped, the Monster lived a very peaceful life.

The Great Sagewood and Opera:
Opera had grown weary of life ever since the wars, and the recent troubles in the Darselav Empire led her to grow more disillusioned. She left the Sagewood, and then the Darselav lands, seeking something.

The Great Sagewood grew angry at Mortals, and used its powers to destroy their settlements in the Iris Moonsoon Forest.

Cross:
After a long rest, Cross healed from the wounds inflicted by Rykan.

------Artifacts------

The Bleak Eye:
The Shadow's Keep was discovered by Dwarves, who raided it and came in possession of the Bleak Eye.

The Etherium Maxi:
The books appeared mainly in the lands of the Darselav Empire, falling into the hands of unremarkable individuals. Two of the books actually led to a love story between two Drogos living on opposite sides of the Empire.

The Green Thumb:
The Green Thumb was quickly seized by the Kingdom of Werchiko, and became a national treasure.

The Pupil Portal Emplacement:
Adriot sensed the Artifact, and seized it for its Empire. With it, it started preparing for a great invasion plan, once the uprising would be crushed.

Greater Monster to Primordial Beast: 3 Essence

Acter moves his Realm to an out-of-the-way island on the Moon by using his Quintessence, but does little else.
...formatting. Damnit.
I'm sorry Ema, I hadn't been thinking of that...

[looking at the True Prophecy] ...hmn. The pillar fell.
I will be watching.

Acter writes a prophecy: "The coming of the long-locked one of Tes will be met with strange occurrences, but they will be otherwise non-malicious."

Acter then gives Elmedo both of his Greater Essences, broken down into normal Essences, for the specific purpose of turning their telescope into a Keystone.

Pleased with the events of the cycle, Elmedo nods at Acter and finally goes back to upgrade the Golden Eye into a keystone, giving it various effects such as thr ability to see into the Other Plane, and even beyond the universe, and to be able to determine the nature of the Primordial Will.

He then looks through it, investigating the mysterious unbound of Tes.

And now to tie up loose ends.

I split my EE into 3 LE.

I redo the Law of Interplanetary Travel, now spending one LE.

I instruct my Servitors to tell the Dwarves to unify:

There are now only five tribes. Each tribe shall now control one province. A province is ruled by a Duke and acts like its own kingdom for inter-Imperium matters. Affairs with non-dwarves are handled by the Emperor and his council of Dukes. When a Duke dies, a new one is selected from the population of that province, and Emperors are elected from Dukes.

To see this through, I bless my Dwarves with a desire to be ruled by one unitary governmental body, the Dwarven Imperium.

I now create the Bastion:

The Bastion is a sprawling mountain fortress close to the Shrine of the Node and is surrounded by hillocks. A wall encloses it, hillocks and all. This will be freely gifted to the Dwarves and act as the seat of the Emperor, as well as an example of how to live non-nomadically.

I bless the Bastion: “As long as the Bastion remains in Dwarven hands, its walls shall not crumble.”

And to deal with how dispersed they are, I give them knowledge of the humble minecart, roller, and track. These would become the backbone of the Imperium economy.

Manannan just shows up in person and kicks Adriot in the teeth repeatedly, while shouting "YOU SUCK!".

Then he pops by Ascension Peak and gives Talavars a thumbs-up.

action: Mavnon spends the turn travelling the world and appearing to those who become lost. The lost will eventually find themselves at a wooden cabin that is quite inviting and will feel the desire to enter. If they do so, they will be greeted by Grandmavnon who will feed them full of food and drink and generally baby them for a maximum duration of a night and a day. Should they stay longer than that, they will find themselves lost once again.
