“Way’varn’thuul”
A large, 4 limbed lizard creature, covered in strong carapace scales and large protrusions of stone-esque mineralized bone.
This creatures muscle is required to be extremely strong in order to carry its mass at any decent speed, as most of its body weight at any point of time is concentrated on its outer armour.
This impressive outer armour is formed from heavily mineralized bones, compressed to very dense forms. Various metals, minerals and other like materials are found in this hyper compressed bone. This makes it near impossible to break its outer armour with anything less then a Heavy vehicle mounted weapon.
The Way’Varn’Thuul possess a secondary circulatory system, closely intertwined with the regular one and can be found nearly everywhere within the body. The liquid flowing through this Circulatory system is not blood, but instead a organic non-newtonian fluid. This fluid, upon impact hardens into a Secondary defense. With the fluid hardening in proportion to the force applied. Additionally, this fluid carries many Stem cell like microbes. When the body sustains damage enough to burst the circulatory system, the Fluid in this secondary system first hardens to absorbed and protect from the blow, and then when it returns to a liquid form, the Microbes will begin to rapidly fix the damage in the surrounding area.
With its Truly impressive defense, the Way’varn’thuul needs a suitably impressive offense in order to match.
Along with its extraordinary weight and Powerful musculature providing its claws the capability to deal considerable damage even to the outer hull of the undying the way’varn’thuul also posses a series of telekinetic organs in it tail, mouth and back.
The Telekinetic brains implanted in the tail allows the Creature to batter aside tanks in close combat with telekinetic enhanced blows or creating massive barrages of broken stone, boulders and debris at bullet-esque speeds.
The telekinetic brains located in the back are used to create storms of flying earth and sharpened spines of stone with an epicenter focused on the way’varn’thuul. These massive storms of earth and flying spikes serve a duel purpose of damaging enemy infantry that might be able to hide from the Way’Varn’thuuls massive blows or are not worth its attention. This storm of debris also serves to provide protection from energy weapons, diffusing any energy attacks via the sheer debris storm that it must cut through first before it has the chance to even reach the massive dragon.
The Final weapon of the Way’varn’thuul is a series of telekinetic brains located within its mouth and organs that produce very specific gases. These gases are gathered inside of the mouth, before being compressed using the varies kinetic brains to an extreme degree. This extreme compression causes the gas to quickly heat, to the point of creating plasma once certain energy are added to the mix.
From their, the Way’Varn’thuul will breach plasma containment in a manner that best suits its purposes at the time creating a stream of deathly plasma, a cutting beam, a fiery spray or even “throwing” the telekinetically contained bead of plasma forward causing the containment to fail and creating a massive explosion as the previously hyper dense plasma quickly expands outwards.
The Way’Carn’Thuul is designed to be capable of burrowing through the earth, using its claws, telekinesis and plasma breath to rapidly dig its way through even the hardest of bedrock even while other bioforms rapidly move toe stabilize the tunnel behind it. During maturation inside of Underground hives, it is common for the way’varn’thuul to venture deeper down in order to further harden their carapace.
After being deployed to a planet, Way’Carn’thuul are capable of reproduction via egg laying, and if necessary will even bring required metals to the young in order to allow their powerful outer armour the necessary minerals to keep up with rapid maturation brought about by various stress hormones commonly created in specimen returning from battle.
