some question about advanced world gen

is there a way to change the temperature without changing the world shape ? i like the world i generate but the biome and temperature is not to my liking.
i try changing the max and min temperature but it change the world shape completely into something else.
also what base temperature to generate tropical biome ?

Have you tried the Perfect World utility? It's definitely worth looking at if you want to fine tune world parameters.
