Turn 8

Spoiler: Tiles (click to show/hide)

Godly actions of note
E3 is actually a perfectly normal standard arcadian forest, and 1FP is refunded to Sang.
Farsky converts H5 into a flatlands river valley.
Polygaias creates a string of tropical rainfoests at F1, G1, H1, I1, H2, and I2.
Bakos' drunken snoring has disrupted the weather!

The weather will make food gathering slightly unpredictable next turn.

New feature discovered: The world is currently flat!
Perhaps the gods will change this, in time.

Felkusha Territories
2 pops forage the forests at E7, finding 5 food.
1 pops forage the plains at E6, finding 4 food.
1 pops research spears, completing the technology. Relative to Basic Weapons, specialization allows them to be made slightly faster. This tech fulfills the fishing pre-requisite.
Prayer generates 2 FP for Sang and 1 FP for Bakos.

Drecthul Commonwealth
3 pops farm from the farmland at F6, finding 10 food.
2 pops research Basic Weapons
2 pops craft a makeshift stone tool.

Sporks
3 pops forage the forest at I5, finding 6 food.
Prayer generates 1 FP for Bakos, and 1 FP for Farsky.

The tribe grows by 1 pop.
1 extra food is found.
The tribe continues to acclimate to jungle life. 1RP generated towards Jungle Acclimation. Proof-of-concept is gained. This tech will make jungle life easier, but cannot be researched outside of a jungle.

The Kingdom of Hurdur
2 pops work on the farm at I3, bringing it to 6/10.
1 pop forages from the Moongrapes at I4, finding 5 food.

The tribe continues to acclimate to jungle life. 1RP generated towards Jungle Acclimation. Proof-of-concept is gained. This tech will make jungle life easier, and may open future opportunities.
1 pop becomes ill and will be unable to work next turn.

The Neonight Tribes
2 pops forage the river meadow at C4 with 1 makeshift stone tool, finding 8 food. The poorly-made tools have broken.
4 pops research hunting, finishing the tech.
Research overflow: 1 RP goes to Hunting Trails, which is now Theoretical.

Torograf Tribes
1 pop forages the advocado grove at E2, finding 7 food.
4 pop begin building tilling farmland at F3, bringing it to 4/10.

Sang decides to spend 5FP turning the barren grasslands at E4 into an actually magical forest with a Grecian mythological theme. There will definitely be satyrs, along with edibles like grapes and beech nuts. The forest's residents may be a bit territorial, but it's a safe and productive place to those who are respectful to them.

Another 3FP go to replacing D6 with a strait much like the one that was there before. This time, though, Sang makes sure to include seagulls.

Wait, did I seriously put 7 civilians to work when I only had 6 pop (I guess I should only have 1 civilian on research)? Anyhow:

Oops!

Thanks for pointing it out. I'll let you keep that, but to keep things fair you'll have one less labor this turn. The extra pop will sit things out and not eat this turn.

Bakos awakes with a hangover.  Where'd all this weird weather come from?

Bakos creates a grassland at J4.  Perhaps the Hurdur might consider moving there, unless they wish to continue their costly research into jungle acclimation.

Then Bakos sends messages in dreams to the leaders of the Felkusha and the Drecthul Sporks!  In the dreams, he tells them to keep it coming, and soon they'll earn rewards from Bakos!

edit:  Mistake made.  It was the Sporks who worshipped me, not Drecthul.
edit 2:  apparently I hit quote, not modify!

The citizens of the Neonight tribes, now returning to fervent prayer to Sang, humbly ask their god to make his new forest as safe as possible, and full of things to hunt.

I'm not letting you add that much for 5FP.
