Bakos creates a forest at I5.
Then he creates a plains at I6.

Bakos sends a message in a dream to the leader of the Torograf Tribes.  He says, "You live on land Bakos created and pick his fields barren.  Yet, for some reason, you prefer the water god.  You are lucky Bakos is not a spiteful god."

The Torograf Tribes are sorry for destroying your creation. We will take far better care of your raspberry bushes, for which we are grateful for. To prove our gratitude, we will pray to you every time we forage them from now on.

Farsky cometh
to the felkusha he states that while filled with things of days long passed the ashes of the old are the perfect place to plant the seeds of tomorrow.
He also tells them that through research one may use this thing to far greater effect than any food producing tile.
For the tile if used right will catapult them forward in tech, in addition he notes that while they may not be too tasty there are probably still some rations in there somewhere.

DO YOU Want me to drop a titan egg near your followers?!?! Ya know the race where just one of the things takes an army from a civilization with advanced steam tech, and several years of conflict to take down. Admittedly the egg would take a good bit of time to hatch but STILL!!

Bakos says, "Behold!  Farsky's true nature is revealed!  I ask the mortals of the world, who would you rather worship?  A god who has done nothing but help the mortals, or a god who uses threats against innocent mortals to get his way?"

farsky rages
I TOLD YOU TO FUDGE OFF, YOU HAVE PEOPLE WHO WORSHIP YOU, I CURRENTLY ONLY HAVE A FACTION ON THE FENCE, AND IF one acts cleverly the titan egg could be a blessing in disuise. But perhaps we should do as posidon and athena did with athens and have both of us create one advanced tile and let the sporkians decide who their patron god will be, if you give me the fp to do this, (i should only need two if we wait till next turn to hold the contest) then I will never harm the sporkians or any of your other subjects, and will let the whole thing go if you win. I think the people of spork (they would get two advanced tiles) would much rather this idea than us starting a celestial war over it. I would also like to propose that either we save up or the GM gives us one epic change to the world to vote on a magic system, to help set this world apart from other gridworld games.

Civilization Name: The Neonight Tribes
Civilization Color: Navy
Starting Location: D4
Government: Chiefdom
Spoiler: Actions (click to show/hide)

Seeing that he has responded to their plight, the Neonight tribe begins to pray more fervently to Sang for more land. They have access to only 3 tiles, 2 of which are barren. They have no food stockpiled, and the third tile will likely be stripped barren this turn. They urge him to either create new lands for them, or replenish the barren lands around them.

Sang hears your prayers, but strongly recommends you try to avoid making these go barren, since replacing tiles is so much more expensive than making new ones.

(Actually, I added messages for most civilisations to my post, so everyone except the Drecthul or Hurdur should go take a look at it.)

No. I already gave the game unique things.

have both of us create one advanced tile and let the sporkians decide who their patron god will be, if you give me the fp to do this
In two posts, you threaten him, say he's in a better position than you are, and then ask for FP so you can compete with him?

Anyway, I still haven't done my own re-balancing, so I'm going to copy-paste Supernerd's expensive tile rules and costs, and add them back in.
Edit: Plus a 15-point tile, to bridge the gap between 5 and 30.
Edit2: Changed rules:
Quote
10 FP: Create an interactive landscape tile. This tile will do something when "Triggered". Any tile that affects things outside the tile must be at least this expensive. Modifying away from such a tile costs +2 FP.
15 FP: Create a superior tile. This is a true gem of a tile, pushing up against the limits of what can be done without absolutely drowning an area in divine energy. Modifying away from such a tile costs +3 FP.
30 FP: Create an Epic level tile. There are limits on how what most tiles can do, but an Epic tile can break some of these limits. The flood of carefully sculpted divine energy contained herein is likely to have unpredictable effects when broken, beware! Modifying away from such a tile costs +5 FP.

Note that the inherent protection from expensive tiles does not count as a discount for replacing it with another expensive tile. Eg, you can't spend 10FP to turn an epic tile into an interactive tile.

OK fair point, sorry sang, it was late and i was not thinking straight, as my apology I would like to extend one offer of friendship, i will give you fp should you need it and i have it available. For the spork thing, how about we either simply both tell them what kind of advanced tile we would make them and let them choose, also to get the gm's approval for our tiles, or settle for joint sponsorship, where we both give them an advanced tile/give them our protection. I also issue a formal apology  for my actions, and invite all to meet to discuss a treaty to prevent certain things from taking place and for resolving conflicts over the worship of mortals peacefully. basically the god version of the geneva convention.
