Is it normal for me to be checking this game thread pretty much every hour or so? The first same-day update may have overhyped me.

Seconded.

Turn 2

Don't expect so much, but since you really want it I whipped up a bonus turn for today.

(Really-weak placeholder art. Note that D6 is a strait. Into nothing. It's hard to draw.)

Spoiler: Tiles (click to show/hide)

Felkusha Territories
2 people forage from the plains of E6, finding 2 food.
2 people forage from the forests of E7, finding 7 food.
Prayer generates 1 favor for Gilbert.

Drecthul Commonwealth
2 people forage from the plains of F6, finding 5 food.
2 people continue researching Farming, and now have a proof-of-concept. This tech will allow creating labor-intensive farms.

Sporks
2 people forage from the plains of F5, finding 4 food.
Prayer generates 1 favor for Bakos.
2 people begin researching hunting, and gain a theoretical understanding. They feel like they're missing an optional yet useful prerequisite.

The Kingdom of Hurdur
2 people forage from the jungles at H4, finding 7 food.
2 people forage from the forests at G5, finding 3 food.
Prayer generates 1 favor for Bakos.
1 person gets sick from the jungle, and will be unavailable for work next turn.

Sang puts a saltwater bay at D7. That's where the strait was going!

It wasn't my intention to try to pressure you or anything. I just honestly didn't know how often the game would update.

Felkusha Territories
The Felkushan Elders consider the gods...

A total of 1 prayer has been given to Sang
A total of 1 prayer has been given to Ædin
A total of 0 prayers have been given to Bakos
A total of 0 prayers have been given to Polygaias
A total of 1 prayers have been given to Gilbert
Sang has modified tiles D5 and D6, but the new water tiles appear to have been placed in the form of a blockade! On the other hand, there wasn't really anything beyond them...
No other gods have performed any actions that are relevant to the Felkusha Territories...

Still uncertain of which gods would be most beneficial to the Felkusha Territories, they continue to spread their prayers out among several different gods.

Sang = 1 FP
Ædin = 1 FP
Bakos = 2 FP
Polygaias = 1 FP
Gilbert = 3 FP
I think you made a mistake there... it should be Bakos = 3 FP, Gilbert = 2 FP.

Thank you. Looks like 3 for each of Bakos and Gilbert, though.

Bakos creates an olive tree grove at E4.
Then he creates another olive tree grove at G3.
Then Bakos creates a grape field at I4.
Then Bakos sends an intense erotic dream to the leader of the Felkusha Territories!  In the dream, a nubile Felkushan tells the leader that Bakos will not forget their worship!

(As a fresh reminder, it costs 3fp to replace a pre-existing tile with another. The easiest place to put a 1fp tile intended for the Felkusha would be... In column 8 next to the forest)

I would appreciate D8 and E8 being left for me to finish my oceanic plans, but I of course cannot force anybody.

(the Felkusha can't work any tile in column 8 because they are at E6)

Tribal uprising edition!
Quote
- The entire tribe may pack-up and move a single tile. This is a free action, but all worked tiles must be in workable range of both the current tile and destination.
 At game start, you may only carry 2xpop resources (With 5 pop, you'll be able to carry 10 food). Resources left behind will quickly rot, rust, or otherwise become unusable.
