Sang puts a submerged ricefield at D3 and an old-growth Mediterranean forest (rich with oaks and beech) at G2. After some reflection, he puts a plain of volcanic ash at I9 and decides to hold his last FP in reserve to answer future prayers.
Thanks, o deity

Huh. Well, it would have been nice if you mentioned this before I tried to do it last turn as well. Anyways, Ill edit my actions.
This game is more about learning by making mistakes. Since it was a compounding mistake that hid the flaw, and would have serious issues, I gave a warning.

there i changed it, now it contains steam level stuff instead of robots, and the titan is now just a skeleton. Is that any better?
I think I can allow something like that, but you're pushing on what I'll allow for only 5FP.

Sang, could you please also make an olive grove at E2 this turn? (For another 3 FP, of course)

I've been thinking about how having multiple cities will work.

I'm leaning towards the city limit and distances be conceptually based on how many people and goods you can transport around every turn. At one point, you might have a town that can support 3 workers, and a linked pair of port towns that can each support 2. And then the next turn, you might upgrade the road towards the town, so it can support 4 workers.

A turn might look something like this.
Code: [Select]
Town Beta
 1 farm I2
 2 harvest wood at H2
 1 research death lasers

Town Gamma
 2 build galley

It gets around having people or goods 'teleport,' or having to track the resources from 30 different settlements and show that info in a meaningful way. Any opinions or other ideas?

That might be unnecessarily complicated.  I'm not sure, though.

I've noticed that tech progress moves very slowly in Supernerd's gridhood.  They are just now getting wooden buildings after more than a month of play.  It seems like what you've described is way, way off in the future, unless you plan to have technology progress much faster than in Supernerd's game.

When I want to limit something hard to keep track of, I allow it to be done but make costs or penalties associated with it. For example, logistics was added to the game because I wanted people to stop foraging like five tiles with a single person instead of foraging one tile with 5. You seem to have wanted to limit population growth so you made it super expensive, and so that it gets even more expensive. I think this is great even if it doesn't make sense to me.

If people want to research a way to have separate cities, think of a way to make it work without making the game hard to update.

Felkusha Territories
The Felkushan Elders consider the gods...

A total of 2 prayers have been given to Sang
A total of 1 prayer has been given to Ædin
A total of 1 prayer have been given to Bakos
A total of 1 prayer have been given to Polygaias
A total of 2 prayers have been given to Gilbert
A total of 2 prayers have been given to Farsky

Farsky took an action as promised, and it was undeniably an "Advanced" tile, but the created tile did not appear to be the food based tile that the Felkusha needed. Maybe Farsky knew something the Felkusha didn't? For now, the Felkusha would give Farsky the benefit of the doubt, but they are quite nervous. Whether Farsky would be the primary focus of the Felkusha's prayers or not would depend entirely on whether or not the tile had a high food yield...

Ah shit, I thought I had checked all the tiles that had been created so far.
Sang puts the volcanic ash plain at J8 instead, followed by a grove of avocados at E2, feeling that olives would be derivative. He then sits back and waits to hear what his other followers want.

Then he notices that his fjords have been replaced by some nonsense, and waxes wroth! His words boil over in the Felkushan minds like a geyser: "Have you rejected my gifts so easily, turning to other lesser gods in your iniquity? Truly, if the Felkusha will not go to the ocean, the ocean shall come to the Felkusha! Repent!"

ETA: Having heard from his followers, Sang places an idyllic Arcadian forest at E3 and a meadow of edible flowers with a river running through it at C4. He saves the rest of his power for now, and sends some more messages to some of the peoples of the world:

To the Neonight and Torograf tribes he tells each of the existence of another people who worship Sang and live just on the other side of the new forest he has made, which he hopes will bring them together in peace, as long as they approach one another with the respect due to equals in religion. To the Neonights in particular he also points out the beautiful sea just to their east and suggests they consider seeking food there as well... And to the Torografi, he graciously declares that he is quite happy to share their pantheon with Bakos, as Bakos "is a cool guy who doesn't destroy fjords".

To the Sporks he promises to grant them an advanced tile in the near future, thanks them for their past worship, and encourages them to continue to worship him. He also cautions them against listening to bitter godlings who ruin perfectly good fjords. They probably don't know what he means by that, but will hopefully keep it in mind anyway.

And finally, to the wayward Felkusha he speaks once more, offering to accept them back into the fold and keep them well fed if they return their worship to its proper object, ie, himself.

I noticed that there is no mention of my 1 villager that researched farming. Did he complete it?

Also, the tool I created is not listed under my civ status.

Thanks again, Sang. Once I have a farm and a larger population, I will devote greater numbers of worshipers to you.
