Why not ask them?

They read every suggestions thread (at least the opening post) so they know what's been suggested. Then I guess it just depends on if it fits with their plans, if it won't break saves, if it's already planned for a future arc and then technical stuff I suppose.

But like I say, they're normal people, not a corporation, just ask them directly.

I know, but that’s why I’m hesitant. Maybe they could view it as me being rude or invasive. But now that you say that I’m starting to think that that’s just a bunch of crap.

Least intrusive way (if you're worried about that) would be to ask on Future of the Fortress thread. It's a relevant question right now since they're working on implementing suggestions (along with bug fixes and new stuff) at the moment.
