corruption is proportional to expenses. Since you dropped expenses (interest) , corruption dropped.

Since you have a fairly big money tsockpile, I suggest you join IMF and deposit 100 B every day in the IMF, to build a voting share. All money you spend this way is refunded the day after.

Good info on the corruption. Noted.

IMF. I did join already although I dont think I'll bother with the voting/bug exploit thing. Kind of lame to pump it willingly like that. Bound to just get chopped soon as the Dev can fix it or will just become a game of who can bother to click the fund buttong the most everyday imo..

Edit:
Strangely, seems now my money is dropping  slowly. Not even changed anything but paid that loan off. Hmm cant think of anything else, unless the maintenance for those invisible troops maybe.. Yup its dropping 20M a day now.

My money is dropping slowly now too.  Went from gaining ~230m per day to losing ~80m per day.  Unit upkeep is showing zero, and would be way lower than that based on what it's saying in the production screen.

money drop could be related to the loan. ever since i repaid my lone i started to enter a depression

i think i have the highest birthrate in the world: 9.4% and rising. also povery rate of 46 and dropping quite fast, but unemployment of about 94.9 and dropping REAAAAAAAALLy slowly

Yea, I just threw the troop thing out there as the only thing that came to mind first, but it cant be that. The wages are what, £30,000 per year per troop, for maybe 8 guys. It wouldnt even be a blip on these figures.

Dev is messing with economy live maybe?

That is one thing that seems to be decling here, birth rates, and death rates going up... not sure if its just blips or what, seems steadly slow decline to me. On the Nation/Pop > Right side: 0.1011, 0.0915, 0.0841, 0.0805% Pop Change from the 4 months so far.

Feels like update to calculations are really random.  I've had 1 tick for infrastructure in February, but not getting anymore.

mine is rapidly rising, 0.3 0.31 0.35 0.45, unfortunately i can only accommodate 180k people as i settled in an inhospitable wasteland

i mean, what would you do if your country suffered 95% unemployment, huge deficit, impossible-to-balance budget...

My birth rate isn't quite that high, but it is steadily climbing, at 7.2% so far - last 4 months are
0.3504%   Apr, 1980
0.3216%   Mar, 1980
0.303%   Feb, 1980
0.2938%   Jan, 1980

Death rate is going down too, currently at 2.95%

I've claimed myself a spot in Zimbabwe, as the Galactic Empire. I chose it because it has high iron content and access to nuclear material!

I guess I'll find out what it takes to make an actually functional country though.

Edit: THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE

Edit2: Holy shit this economy screen. Do I have to set prices for everything? How do I know what to do?

Just flail blindly, really.  Half of it's bugged just now anyway.

Fewer old people sucking up your resources :p

Edit: the country info I'm getting for The Galactic Empire says it has 77% of its population as children...

I had a look at the military/unit design the other day. I wonder if that is a glitch that is lets you build 0 tech stuff? You click a design and nothing shows up, and then you pick some zero tech item and it bring up the cost/time/name etc. But...

Infrantry Vehicle:
1,485,086 cost
18 days

Aircraft Carrier:
1,485,086
182 days.

all the same cost... it just changes the days to build. Is it just a blank design of nothing, with a base unit cost maybe.
