Name of the Nation: De grote unie van gelijke volkeren, or The Grand Union of all peoples.  The Grand Union, for short.
Government: Citizen Republic
Ethics: Fanatic Militarist, and Egalitarian
Species: three species make up the current union, the first being the Almuluk, a species made up of a malleable metal, they generally maintain a humanoid form.  They are generally a pitch black in coloration, with colorful symbols covering their "Faces."  They communicate by vibrating their entire body, thusly creating understandable speech.  It is unknown how they reproduce, and they are extremely rare.
The second species is the Lejoe, large, hulking apes of apex origin.  For the majority of the planet’s history, they served as the mainstay of the aristocratic warrior classes so popular in feudal regimes.
The third, final, and most common are the Gevleugelde, a batlike people who make up the majority of the union's population.  As they evolved to fit the cramped underground tunnels within which they resided, they lost their ability for flight, and their short, stubby wings now serve a purely ornamental purpose, and are frequently painted gaudy colors.
Prehistory: For the majority of the planets history, various Lejoe warlords ruled over the Gevleugelde, using them as the principle fighters in their wars, as well as sources of cheap labour.  During this time, the Almuluk walked their way across the planet, exploring it’s surface thoroughly, and acquiring a good number of religious followers.
This situation would change midway through the planet’s industrial age, when a rebellion of the Gevleugelde swept across the surface of the planet.  This rebellion was led by one Sebastiaan Valk, who imparted a sense of discipline within his troops that had never been seen before in the planet’s history.  This discipline would prove to be the decisive factor in many a battle, and they ultimately won the war.
Sebastiaan would spend the remainder of his life imparting a sense of unified nationalism on the planet, not on the basis of race, but on the basis of the republic.  This nationalism would merge with their militaristic origins to birth a belief that they are destined to conquer the universe, and bring equality to all.

micelus your action was invalid, i didn't see it earlier and i didn't want to hold up the entire game because of it. You can't put actions on your own creations unless they have a golden age. Thus you get two actions this turn.
