You decide to not try and get up at this juncture, hiding your head in the covers until the noise and light go away. You dream of silver fish swimming upstream, calling your name.

You awaken at noon, more or less, though not without a couple of false starts. You extricate yourself from the couch, rub the sleep from your eyes and head to the bathroom. There you throw one of Beth's humic bath bomb into the tub and have a grand old soak before settling down to a healthy if mildly depressing breakfast of kelp and kelp byproducts. After all of that, you think about what you'd like to get done today.

A) Get that mirror out and start looking for a job, of course.
B) Hit the streets, maybe you'll stumble onto something cool.
C) Mess around in this demiplane and get acquainted with its deeper mysteries.
D) Call up Beth and see if she wants to do anything after she gets off work.

Balancing on the edge of your couch with your elbows on the dinner table, you intensely concentrate on the etheric mirror as you start to gently navigate the 999 Planes of Knowledge Like Color, though most of the knowledge you uncover there does seem to pertain to great deals on kitchens. Nevertheless, you trudge on to the job listings, looking for something an aspiring goddess of darkness could feasibly do, get paid for and ideally not lose the will to live doing.

... okay, steward of darkness needed over in the Eternal Forest of Shrah, should be unobtrusive and respond well to criticism, right, and also needs at least two references and a century of experience in the field. Yeah, never mind. Oh, here's an opening for god of thieves in the Twisted City, must have no prior criminal record and good communication skills, must be able to work in a team, at-will employment, must be comfortable with advanced security measures as part of job and also must have at least one certification in a dark-relevant field. Crap. Um. How about some entry-level god work- yeah, that looks like that needs a degree as well. And experience.

Setting your sights a little lower, you send your summation sigil to about a dozen different places and hope for the best, and that leaves you lastly with some listings that caught your eye on your search where you don't need to send in a sigil at all, just mark the listing and show up for the due date. Some of them even have openings showing up in green and everything! Score!
