You return to your fortress, at your back more than a thousand orcs loyal to you. Sardonk is pleased by your success, but is angered by the sight of Jortha at your side. You see an old grievance binding the two together, a rusty chain coiled around your Seneschals heart. You don’t sense any murderous intent yet, so you move on.
The Chiefs of 3 other tribes soon arive with your returning envoys. First is Xomkug, with 4 warbands.
Zartha, your resolute captain, returns with Gnurl, leader of 12 warbands.
And finally, your captain Pavlock (who didn’t make too much of an impression on you at first, but you now detect an undercurrent of cunning running through his mind) brings forth Gort, leader of 8 warbands.
Word comes from the last, largest tribe from a few deserters. They have defied your claim as their master, and have captured your envoy, the ambitious captain Agronak. The tribe, calling themselves the Torncloaks, camp in the hills north of your fortress. They have around 15 warbands. Your captains are outraged and ask that they be allowed to take your forces and crush them. The chiefs newly sworn to you scoff and say that they deserve the honor of destroying the the Torncloaks and their chief, Wrukag. Your captains feel that they should be rewarded for their loyalty, and the chiefs be given a quick death instead of promoted. The Chiefs obviously feel otherwise.
A. Loyalist captains promoted to generals, chiefs executed. You predict only opposition from new captains, as their place remains unchanged and their is little love between orcs and their superiors. It may make negotiations more difficult however.
B. Chiefs, due to their experience and familiarity with command, are made your generals. Loyalists will very much dislike this.
C. Something else?
Also, do you desire to lead in dealing with the Torncloaks, or focus on something else?
A. Lead reunification with the rebel orcs.
B. Give command to one of your commanders and focus on developing youmagic, strategy, or something else (Write in who you give command to).
