Sun-nut, God of Mirth and soon to be Emperor of All Things Beautiful comes of age! The young god takes after his mother in that he is creative by nature. Most of your court agrees that he will make a great emperor, but a small minority fears that his deap-seated desire to make people happy may be exploited by those of ill-intent. Regardless, it is agreed that he will not take the throne until after his coronation at the great feast!

The Twins Azuma and Nishi come of age!

The magically talented Azuma takes after her father's vengeful nature! Your court notes that the combination of magical talent and a vengeful nature makes Azuma as dangerous as any mortal might be in combat.

Her sister Nishi possess a merciful nature, meaning she is particularly good at getting along with mortals, beasts, and monsters. Your court agrees that this is in-line with her foreseen leadership skills.

Per their marks of fate, the two female kappa can not stand each other, and compete fiercely over almost everything. Your court informs you that they are presently competing to woo their half-brother Sun-nut, but that the future god-emperor has thus far spurned them both.

As you contemplate your twin daughters, Skoonhein approaches your throne with news of the empire!

"My queen!" he cries, "the tomb of Tul-Urist, the dwarven wizard who fought alongside Emperor Walnut against the Granite Titan, and against him in The War of the Emperor's Return, has been robbed! The Staff of Creed, which grants the holder control of ice and cold, is missing!"

"And why should this concern me? Tul-Urist was my enemy." You ask.

"The burial of Tul-Urist was commissioned by Emperor Walnut to honor his friend, and to appease any wrath the Dwarven Pantheon might have felt over the death of their servant," the angel explains, "if you let the theft go unpunished, you may both undermine the office of emperor, and attract the anger of the dwarven gods!"

A: Meh. Still don't care.
B: Fine. Look into this for me, would you Skoonhein?
C: I'll task Sun-nut with solving this case once he takes the throne.
D: I'll task my magically talented daughter Azuma to solve the case of the Wizard's Tomb... after the upcoming feast of course.
E: I'll send a messenger to the dwarven gods apologizing for the theft and tomb desecration.

"As you wish, mother." The young she-kappa declares with a low bow.

The grand feast is upon you, an event that is to last five whole nights! Your divine dwelling is decorated in many colorful lights, adorned with many small yet comfortable cabins in which guests may sleep, and stocked with table after table of the finest foodstuffs.

The guest list is impressive! The Abysal Pantheon is represented by its king and queen, Ore and Morayi, as well as Captooth, the god of time charged with raising their many children.

Also present is a repulsive looking obese female with the head of a fly and massive sagging breasts. She is introduced to you as Char-Dis, the goddess of caves and Queen of the soup whom you have had many dealings with in the past.

Many mortals are also present at the feast. Ikarinojoō, the Queen of all kappa has returned. Your father-in-law, Shujinkō, has died since you first met him at Moonpetal's coming of age party, but his successor, Senshinochi's half-sister Kōkei, has come in his place, bringing her most promising students, including your unworthy twin sons Ken and Okurimono, with her.

Speaking of unworthy children, Char-Dis has ensured that both of your daughters by Emperor Walnut are in attendance; Strider, the daughter you raised for many years before sending her to the Soup in exchange for her father's soul is present, and the spider priest Zrukphs has come with his mate Elmoss.

The final guest, General Thrane, bothers you a bit. Most of your court is quite unhappy with him for abandoning his duty of Imperial Regent, but Emperor Walnut, who is stuck in The Amber Palace and unable to attend the party, has insisted that his closest mortal friend attend in his place. You shudder to think that this means the mountain dwarf will have The Emperor's seat of honor at your side on the third and fourth days of the feast, when the Emperor's son comes of age and is crowned respectively.

The first night of the feast proceeds smoothly. Your court ceremonially acknowledges Uzzu as having reached adulthood, and since he already has plans to live with Moonpetal at the Amber Palace, there is no need for you to rule on his future; You simpily rise from your seat and give him your blessings when the time comes.

Eventually the partying dies down, and an opportunity to socialize presents itself.

There are far to many options for socialization, so this vote will be a write in!

Returning to the Empire to watch out for and advise Sun-Nut

I mean he ran the Empire for years so he is a competent politician and a good warrior. He would make a good shield and advisor for our son. He's good friends with Walnut too so there is a good chance he'll be quite loyal to Sun-Nut as he is Walnut's son.
