Main Thread!

The war is over, the public thinks. But the truth is, it has barely even begun. Under the command of your Prime Minister, you, the elite development board members, have been tasked with the creation of tools and strategies meant to infiltrate the enemy border and slay those important to the enemy government.

An influx of banked resources ensures that you may make 3 Free Universal Designs and 3 Free Revisions this Development Phase.

Hail Kolechia.

In.

Sleeper gun: a tranquilizer rifle modified to have longer range and a five-shot clip. The compressed air cylinder is sized up to provide better range and to cycle the mechanism- it should be semi-auto, but single-action is fine. If all goes well, the tranquilizer dose and strength (in that order) are to be increased while still not being lethal to  most humans.

This is an offensive and defensive weapon, to fight against infiltrators and take out border guards.

Don’t y’see?, it’s the perfect time to make the chlorine gas grenade and gas mask revision combination; than you just need the foldable brief case that looks like a SMG.

And after that we go for 1 design and two revisions; on infiltrating the enemy’s through insertion and making sure we ain’t infiltrated.

Quote from: Briefcase SMG
This polymer-based SMG is your traditional autoloading small personnel equipment that when held looks and has appearance to a briefcase as such. It still like a SMG when deployed fires pistol rounds at a decent, (where not looking for incredible here), fire rate with a 20 round magazine. The pistol grip and other fancy plastic polymers can handle the need to make sure it is light to carry and even have enough penetrative power against light vests

@GM, what tech level, armament, and barriers does our border have right now? Like, do we even have guards there?

I think we do all three designs in one all die roll pool, so I’ll vote for the Sleeper Gun, to get this over with. Mind you want to vote for my designs, so that we have a way of infiltrating and protecting our self from infiltration.

Standardized Domestic ID: The enemy thinks that they can infiltrate our society and ruin the values that we have established, well they might need to understand that this place is a secure skilled-worker immigration and emigration zone, we have created a national set for all required documents that are much more difficult to create false copies of that are passed out to the legislated individuals. Making it much more difficult for agents from the opposing side in trying to infiltrate us, when they see that they don’t have the proper identification cards.

Coercion and Charisma Training: Our agents lack the areas of effective conversational skills that all fine agents need. This program tries to assert their abilities of smooth-talking, seduction, intimidation, and lying to a improved standard that we expect from our agents. With these social skill in tact, they have the ability to slip by enemy guards and making other individuals make them like them. The entire idea of improving our agents ability of emotional intelligence as well as the required social competence, will make them effective social manipulators and can talk their way out of a situation.

I've posted a standard tech base on discord.

Chain fences with razor wire. Guards armed with guns. Basic passport screening.

After further inspection of the die system that fallacy created, the tranquilizer rifle has the strength in capturing prisoner for information gathering “interrogation” if you will, however the Briefcase SMG has the strength that both our infiltrator and defender bodyguard agents can use it, no one expects anything weird with the person with the “laptop battery”. Basically the Briefcase SMG is inconspicuous and can be weirder by both infiltrators and bodyguards

Security Design: Standardized Domestic ID:
(1)
Errr... that crazy old cat guy did it. We don't know how he keeps getting in here.

Sorry, let's start from the beginning. It shouldn't have been this hard to create a standardized domestic ID. In the beginning, it worked out fairly well. We printed out new passports, ID cards for our residents, work passes... the like. Maybe we tried to do too much at once. The problem was that they didn't come out all that well. Legitimate paperwork made using our "improved" methods typically has two to three errors per paperwork item. Causing issues for legitimate immigrants.

We have decided to stick to the old set for now. This set will probably be harder to fake if we manage to fix the errors. Probably.

Ops Design: Coercion and Charisma Training:
(2)
Our new Coercion and Charisma Training didn't go much better. We accidentally used the "improved" paperwork methods when we sent out the advertisement for charismatic and intimidating people to train our agents.

Well, we got half of it. Sorta-kinda. Our Agents, if they have a good concealed weapon(or even if they don't) can attempt to intimidate border officials into letting them pass by using threats. "Let me pass or I'll shoot you. If you tell on me I'll kill your family", basically.

For the other half? Our Agents have received training in acting... flirtatious. This is of limited use.

Well, this could have gone better. For the ops phase, I suggest we assign two agents as bodyguards to each minister, three to monitor our home territory for agents, and one to attempt to infiltrate Arstotzka.

Apparently these are superturns actually and we still have a design and 3 revisions.
