I'll plant a field.
I’ll help
Also I’ll herd the animals if we have those.

EVENT: Quite a Catch

Merlos, the main fishergnome has caught something especially large within the lake. As he reels it in, the snakelike body of the creature reveals it to be a baby lake lindworm!

A. Kill it and cook it up for dinner
B. Return it, just in case the mother is around
C. Have "Yop" try training it

What would we even do with the thing if it was tamed?
Though I guess we can fall back on A if C doesn't work out.

Once its Trained, Fumperdink will make it into a military Lindworm.

It could help us hunt and carry heavy stuff. I'm not sure if I want to deal with an angry Lindworm mother, though.
If there's really a big Lindworm living in the lake, it would be more wise to have it as a friend rather than an enemy.
I say B let the baby go!

Did... Did the game die? It was updating so fast and then it stopped.

The effort needed to maintain such a game tends to grow immensely at relatively early point. Combined with what you would like the game to be versus limited time/capability the surviving chances for the game are pretty low. Several of my games died this way.

Yeah, it's tough maintaining a game of this caliber, which is why GM-based games die easier than endless-style "Post-and-forget" threads.

Source: Once tried maintaining a remake of Gridland Survival, in which the original died due to being a clusterfuck that was a mess to maintain and update, and was hard for players to decide on which part of a player-induced mess to clean up (or just make worse), but it was entertaining to read. My shorter-lived one died due to personal reasons.

I even started programming tools to decrease the time and effort needed to maintain a game. Well, the last game died due to lack of interest, not due to lack of motivation on my side. Maybe I'll give it another try some day, or start something new using the toolset I programmed for it.

I am going to assume this game is now dead. In the event that I am wrong, please send me a PM so that I know I should continue to act in it.
